ORAS OU Pokemon OU 6v6 Mega Absol Team

This is my pokemon team for competitive battling.

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance
Excadrill is my rapid spinner he is also used as one of my physical sweepers. Can switch in to counter Skarmory's weakness to electricity and swords dance to begin to sweep. Rapid spin away any hazards that absol cannot/have not prevented. Rock slide to cover any fire and flying types. Earthquake for a powerful STAB and air ballon to tank an earthquake. Also can switch in on resisted moves and sword dance.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Bomb
- Destiny Bond
Gengar is my effective spin blocker also a great special sweeper. He can take any earthquakes aimed at Excadrill and use that turn to take advantage thanks to his blistering speed. Black Sludge for longevity. Destiny bond used as a fun tactic when Gengar is cornered. Shadow Ball as his powerful STAB. Focus Blast to handle pesky steel types like ferrothorn and also good against tyranitar. Sludge bomb for a nice counter to fairies.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Def / 32 SDef
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind
Skarmory is my physical tank, spiker and sometimes lead. Also used as a great phazer. He is a great switch lead between he and Absol depending on opponents potential leads. Brave bird for powerful STAB and can not be immobilized by taunt. Spikes to set hazards for enemy team. Roost to provide longevity and help with the recoil from brave bird. Whirlwind to phaze out pokemon and prevent sweepers from setting up.

Absol (F) @ Absolite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Protect
- Fire Blast
- Play Rough
Absol is a great switch lead with skarmory, is effective when opponent has any hazard type of lead. Also a uncommon mega to use but very effective as the fastest magic bouncer in the game. Also has great help for Dragonite due to Stelath Rock weakening dragonite so easily. Protect is to ensure it mega evolves safely and to scout the enemy team. Sucker punch is my only priority move so I feel it is very important. Fire blast to take care of grass and ice types. Play rough for dragons and fighting types.

Dragonite (F) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Thunder Punch
- Earthquake
My star physical sweeper. A switch into an earthquake and free turn to DDance. Or any moves that it resists. Weakness policy to draw SE attacks while multiscale is active. And DDance on the first turn after the boost from weakness policy Dragonite becomes a real menace. Even if opponent trys to play around weakness policy it gives dragonite a better chance to live. Earthquake for coverage, dragon claw for powerful STAB. Thunder punch to counter the common faries of Togekiss and Azumaril.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 28 SAtk / 232 SDef
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
Rottom wash for my highly effective special tank. He can check many threats with great bulk and small weakness to grass. Volt-turn for an effective quick switch and STAB. Hydro Pump to hit fire and ground types. Will-O-Wisp to make up for lack of physical defense investment, and weaken pokemon that are difficult to wear down. Rest as an effective way to annoy opponent by fully healing then waking up thanks to the Chesto Berry.

Please feel free to make many useful suggestions. I would like to use this team for a long time so any useful advice will be more than appreciated.

This team seems to have a lot of trouble against things like Azumarill and Talonflame. It doesn't really have much of a way of dealing with substitutes and Baton Passers either. The entire team is walled by Vaporeon, and it can't get past Scolipede's Sub + Protect. I'd suggest someone that has Infiltrator so the team isn't completely walled by Substitute. Personally, I use Noivern:

Noivern @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane
- Flamethrower
- HP Ice

Thank you for your advice, however I do believe Dragonite and Rotom Wash are great responses to Azumaril and Talonflame. Rotom wash can tank anything Azumaril and Talonflame throw at it and respond with a STAB hydro pump to talonflame as for azumaril can hit it with voltswitch and send in any pokemon the resists aqua jet to finish it off. Azumaril can hit Dragonite with play rough and allow Dragonite to respond with a boosted thunderpunch thanks to weakness policy. Dragonite can tank brave bird quite well and respond with a thunderpunch to the frail talonflame. As for substitute and baton passing teams, I have Skarmory to phaze out their setups and ruin their setup strategies. I have faced a few substitute/baton passing teams and have succeeded in using whirlwind to throw off their strategy. I am opposed to getting rid of Dragonite also because he is my favorite pokemon and is a star sweeper for my team in many matches. Also my encounters with Vaporeon have been few and far between. Therefore I am not to concerned with trading out a team member simply to counter a single threat.

I suggest you change roles of Skarmory & Rotom-W

Physically Defensive Rotom-W can take on belly drum azumarill. It has enough speed to our speed Azu, can take take a hit, Will-O-Wisp it cripping it a bit, & then Volt Switch out until something to resist Play Rough or Waterfall in your case Skarmory or Sacking a mon to rack up more burn chip damage. Then you could retaliate w/ Iron Head. It also takes on Talonflame one shotting it w/ Hydro Pump.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

Specially Defensive Skarmory takes on Latios, Latias, Keldeo w/ Brave Bird, & Fairy Types W/ Iron Head in your case I'd run Iron Head for Fairies since you have Dragonite & Rotom Wash core to kinda wall Keldeo. Also Skarmory & Gengar work well together to take out Fairies. I'd Run Shed Shell so Magnezone doesn't destroy your soul.

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Whirlwind
