Pokemon Ranger and M3 Simply

I didn't know where else this would go so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. I'm thinking about playing through Pokemon Ranger to get some of the pokemon from that game before I start playing D/P. My question is, what special pokemon are from that game, and how would the transfering work between it and D/P. I'll be using an M3 Simply so if anybody knows if it'll even work it would be a huge help.

You don't get to transfer pokemon from ranger to d/p. The only thing that is transferrable is a manaphy egg. The egg can only be acquired by playing a special mission in ranger. That's about it.
