The Legend of Suez

And the Quest Begins

To complete Arceus's mission, Suez shall catch all Pokemon in Paldea.

What's a better disguise than dressing up as a high school student while you're on a mission?

Even the academy director came to help Suez, this catching mission is going to be a cakewalk.

The director owns three rare Pokemon that cannot be found in the wild. Sure need to treat him politely.

Mother, this is not the Arc Phone. Suez won't be able to communicate with Arceus through Rotom.

Maybe the director will gift all these Pokemon away if they all fall in love with Suez. Time to shower them with love and care.

This Nemona girl lives next to Suez, but Suez does not need no stinkin' friends. Well, unless she can help Suez catch some rare Pokemon.

Nemona seems to really like battling. At least that will allow Suez to train and evolve her Pokemon.

The director only wanted to give Suez one Pokemon. Quaxly it is then.

Quaxly is a neat and clean Pokemon, but Suez doesn't care much about it. Still a good enough Pokemon to beat Nemona's stupid crocodile.

There it is. The Rotom Phone is at least advanced enough to install a Pokedex app. Checking Pokemon information should be easier now.

The director is old enough to have used handwritten Pokedex notes. Maybe he is old enough to have seen Arceus before?

Don't worry about Suez. She has never caught a wild Pokemon, in this lifetime.

Quaxly is an interesting duckling, but it is not qualified to serve the sacred lord. Suez will need something else.

Fuecoco is also not sacred enough for Arcues, but Suez will still need to find a way to obtain one.

Mom made a sandwich for Suez. Suez is not feeling hungry right now and will be saving it for later, in case something bad happens.

Nemona was trying to teach Suez how to catch Pokemon, but all Suez wants are these 5 Poke Balls.

Oh yes, a Lechonk. That is a Pokemon sacred enough for Lord Arceus.

A perfectly normal-looking pig with perfectly normal battling capability. That is the perfect candidate as a Pokemon servant.

More Poke Balls for Suez. That means Suez can save her lunch money on something else.

Since Quaxly is not holy enough for Suez's quest, Lechonk will take place as the leading warrior for right now.

Lechonk might not have the strongest power now, but that is enough for catching Pokemon.

Suez will be catching all types of Pokemon, but only Pokemon with power of normality shall be used.

One Lechonk is not enough for this adventure. Ares and Aphrodite will form the holiest duo you'll ever see.

Ah yes, a tiny robin that is nothing more than just a small bird. That sounds normal enough to please Arceus.

With the power of Fletchling, the two Lechonk will not need to worry about airborne enemies.

In fact, two of the loudest airborne enemies live on Suez's rooftop. Really rude, isn't it?

Squawkabilly knows nothing other than squawking all day long. It is definitely normal enough for this quest.

Nemona wants to compare who has caught more Pokemon. You cannot possibly beat Suez in this.

The Dragon Trouble

Since Nemona lost the catching contest, she pushed Suez down the cliff. It is quite lucky the Rotom phone came with a floating function.

Suez found a fainting Koraidon lying on the beach. This would be the best opportunity to catch this legendary Pokemon, but Suez tried to lure it with sandwich first.

Koraidon woke up and led Suez into a cave. This does not seem safe.

Suez would rather stay with sandwich dragon than be pushed by Nemona again. Maybe do not even bother climbing out.

There is a Yungoos living in this cave. It looks stupid and acts stupid, which makes it the perfect pawn to use in battles.

This Yungoos like to stake out do deal bigger damage. That is too smart to serve the team.

This one right here just bites things without ever thinking. Perfect. This one can join the team.

Ooh, a horde of Houndour just arrived. But Koraidon scared them all away before Suez can even find her Poke balls.

Suez couldn't catch the darn Houndour, but look who decides to show up. Catching a Houndoom will surely fills the Pokedex faster.

Except Houndoom opened its fiery jaw and Lechonk turned into salted ham. Rest in piece.

With no Pokemon left to battle, Suez won't be able to catch these Houndour either. Darn it, you scoundrels.

Thankfully, Koraidon brought Suez out of the cave. You really could've done that sooner, dragonboy.

Oh, right. Nemona has been waiting outside for Suez. Now, why didn't you help a little sooner?

Nemona handed over a copy of Swift TM. This is not going to help the quest, but maybe the normal Pokemon will like this.

Babies and babies

An edgy teen suddenly approached, and he is apparently the son of a famous Pokemon Professor. Suez is not amused.

Arven suddenly battled Suez to test her worthiness, and of course, he loses. He has a good Pokemon, though.

Arven's mother probably knows more about this Legendary Koraidon. Talking to her may be a good idea.

Nemona then brings Suez up the lighthouse and took a view of the Academy. That already seems too much studying.

Battling is not Suez's priority, but that's the fastest way to make Pokemon grow. It's also a test of the servants' combat abilities.

(Low poly Azurill intensifies.)

Azurill is just a bouncing ball. That's normal enough to be put on the team.

Oceanus is not a valid nickname for Azurill. Why don't you just oce your anus then?

Azurill can serve the team with its Huge Power, but it might be leaning towards its water abilities a little too much.

Before Suez can even reach the town, she finds yet another baby Pokemon bouncing around.

This Igglybuff is competitive. That's the attitude it needs to serve the holy spirit.

Intelligence is knowing that Hymen is the name of a Greek deity; wisdom is naming Igglybuff after the body part anyways.

Does it have anything to do with the legend of Arcues? If yes, battle all you want.

Squawkabilly has Hustle, which means it will miss its Peck every now and then. Bad servant.

Squawkabilly might look like a good-for-nothing parrot, but it is at least very good at parroting others.

By the power of copying homework, bird defeated pig. Maybe this parrot isn't the worst warrior after all.

It took some time with all the Pokemon battling, but Suez finally finds her way to the Pokemon Center. What more awaits? Find out next time.

Shooting Stars

The Pokemon Center is just asking trainers for private questions. This has gotta be illegal.

The only things a Pokemon collector will ever need are Poke Balls. Glad they are sold at the Mart here.

The Pokedex App rewards trainers for filling in entries. They are basically free gifts for good ol' Suez.

Endure is probably not the most useful move in battles, but a Normal-type move is always appreciated.

They sell desserts here in Los Platos, but a true Arceus believer can never waste time snacking on ice creams.

See? This Skwovet has the normality one needs to follow Arceus's footsteps, but it will need to stop crunching on berries.

Who got the time to sleep for two turns? Arceus is not going to talk to you in your dreams.

Shroodle might have a strong toxic tendency, but that doesn't stop it from being an extremely normal mouse.

Just make sure you put your money away from Shroodle, as it is a nasty kleptomaniac.

Maybe chowing on a candy or two won't hurt, especially since this one makes training Pokemon so much faster.

It's time to use the Swift TM gifted from Nemona. Igglybuff wants to be a superstar one day, so it might as well shoot some star rays.

Arceus does not believe in bugs. In fact, Arceus is a strong hater of bugs considering there is no living legend of powerful Bug-type Pokemon.

An egg Pokemon that puts a random round white rock in its belly pouch? That sounds totally normal.

If you treat Happiny right, one day it may grow into the sweetest doctor you'll ever see. Can't start a journey without a cleric.

Right when you thought the team will stop expanding, a normal-looking deer just pops out of nowhere.

Deerling takes on four different forms based on the season, but Lord Arceus probably only needs one of these.

Suez spent hours wandering around and still didn't see any Bounsweet. Filling the Pokedex is gonna be harder than just chucking balls on Pokemon.

Igglybuff being a floating balloon means it can fight on water without getting its feet wet. Great for finding aquatic Pokemon.

Oh lord. That's the first and probably the only time Squawkabilly will ever hear that compliment.

Since all it does is missing moves because it is too nervous or something.

You get reward for beating trainers here, and Thunder Wave is a great way to make Pokemon easier to catch.

Fighting Stars

Nemona stopped Suez from entering the city gate. Guess what? She also wants a Pokemon battle.

As expected, Squawkabilly continues to miss its moves, which gave Fuecoco more time to scream at the top of its lungs.

That's what you get, stinky parrot. Squawabilly lost the battle of loud noises, in a cruel twist of fate.

Well, Deerling is here to save the world. It's quite refreshing to see a Grass-type Pokemon beat the crap out of a fire-breathing crocodile.

Nemona has always been a salty loser, but putting a light bulb on top of Pawmi's head just to make it stronger is just pushing it.

Nemona does not even know basic type match ups, as Deerling is made of electricity-resistant fur.

Perhaps its fur isn't that resistant to electricity, as Deerling just electrocuted itself from touching that hot bulb.

Does not matter though, as that is still enough to beat Nemona's Pokemon. Maybe she will stop fighting for once.

Suez needs to learn more about Pokemon at the Academy. Gotta write a bunch of notes just to see where these wild Pokemon are at.

There are not much to do in the city. Suez is fine with her haircut and does not really care about tasty food. Perhaps the school is the right way.

There is a Soothe Bell lying on the ground. That will make evolving friendship Pokemon much faster. Love can sometimes be forced, you know.

Time to get rid of the stupid school hat. How about something more normal, like this Big Horn Pom-Pom Hat that might be based on some ancient deer creature?

Finally. Suez cannot properly start her catching quest without the Arc Phone. Now, Arceus would be so pleased to know this.

Someone with an Eevee backpack seems to be in trouble. It isn't Suez's business, but perhaps she knows where to find Eevee.

These people with stupid-looking star shades just use weak Shroodle in battles. Nothing too difficult for Yungoos to handle.

Honestly, too easy. How does Eevee girl get bullied by someone this weak?

And of course, Nemona showed up at the absolute worst time. Perhaps she should be the one doing the battling.

Oh, Nemona handed over a Tera Orb, which will allow Suez to put giant light bulbs on her Pokemon. Suez is not amused.

Back To School

Considering Yungoos is already a Normal-type Pokemon, this Terastallization thing seems like a fraud.

What's a better time to Terastallize Yungoos than a mirror match between two Yungoos? Go, Lyssa.

Wearing a diamond gem on the Pokemon's head is better than putting a bright light bulb on. Suez is pleased.

Thanks to the Normal-type crown, Yungoos can unleash a stronger Tackle because it has become even more normal than it normally is.

Star shade bitch just lost the Yungoos match. Maybe that's why you should move next to the student council girl.

The shady students ran down to the city, while Eevee girl ran to the Academy. Nerd.

Not even Nemona knows anything about the Eevee girl, and the girl ran off before saying where Eevee can be caught.

With nothing else left to do, the Academy is the only place to go. What a weirdly orange building this is.

In case you cannot tell, Suez does not like talking about herself. This is the worst school day ever.

Suez was asked many questions, but the answer is always the same: collecting Pokemon and completing the Pokedex.

Nemona then told Suez to go to the teachers' office, where she was talking to a lady with really, really long hair.

Nemona is a Champion-rank trainer, which means she can catch any Pokemon she likes without trouble.

Becoming a Champion trainer is not easy though, one would need to challenge eight Gym scattered around Paldea.

Suez went to the cafeteria for a change in environment and somehow ran into edgy boy, Arven.

Edgy boy thinks there are titanic Pokemon hidden somewhere in Paldea. Suez thinks they must be some forms of rare Pokemon.

A hacker hacked into the Arc Phone and threatened Suez to help them out. Well, so much for talking to Arceus through the phone.

The director almost fired Suez for talking to loud in the phone call. Maybe hack into his phone next, okay?

Nah, actually, the director was just trying to make sure everyone is enjoying their time at the academy.

The director then set up a remote call with Professor Sada, who is Arven's mother and the owner of Koraidon. Hmm, that means Koraidon cannot be caught.

After a long day of school and self-introductions, it is finally time to take a rest in the comfy bed.

Hunting Treasures

After a few more weeks of boring classes and schoolwork, the director finally let us explore outside and catch more Pokemon in this whole Treasure Hunt thing he made up.

It seems most students are driving around with Cyclizar. Does the Pokedex say where the Cyclizar shop is at?

The Treasure Hunt isn't actually about capital treasure. It can mean filling the Pokedex for true Pokemon collectors.

Nemona is all about challenging Gyms. Arven needs picnic buddies. The Arc Phone is in danger because of a hacker. Too many things to do, too few Suez to do things.

Doesn't it look like Nemona has a rectangular face in this shot? Maybe she is better off this way.

Koraidon is still under someone else's possesion, but it is kind enough to let Suez ride around its bike-like body.

Mr. Jacq, the Biology teacher, is also the creator of the Pokedex App. Does that mean he has caught every single one of these Pokemon?

There are a few TMs lying on the ground. You can either let out a charming cry or slash targets with scythes.

Or blasting electric orbs. Or biting with icy teeth. The possibilities are endless, but Suez does not have time for that.

Gimmighoul is a weird spirit that loves collecting coins. Picking up these gold might be needed for the ultimate treasure.

Yungoos is very good at biting with its Strong Jaw. Ice Fang is probably a good move for it to learn.

Through the Olive Field

The first thing to do is to go back and see what is still missing from the Pokedex. With Koraidon's help, this should be much faster.

Pachirisu might look like a normal squirrel, but it is actually an EleSquirrel and is not qualified for the team.

Since it is getting late, ghosts start to appear, but Squawkabilly should be able to scare them away.

Congratulations! Your Azurill evolved into Marill! Perhaps too much affection was given.

Catching Pokemon and evolving them is a fast way to fill up the Pokedex. And it is now time for rewards.

Mr. Jacq hands out False Swipe TMs for students who registered 30 Pokemon in the App. Quite generous, isn't he?

Tethys has abandoned the path of normality and will now forever reside in the PC box. Sigh, too much water.

Food is never the most appealing part of picnics, but Pokemon are. Would be better if this is an Eevee giveaway.

A tiny bug? That's what little Fletchling trained for.

A ghost balloon? That's what little Fletchling trained for.

One peck and that balloon's gonna pop. Not like it would be susceptible any forms of normal attacks anyways.

Little known fact, Shroodle eats balloons as dinners. The flavors of Drifloon are simply exploding.

If a Lechonk has been poisoned, it would not make for great meals. Perhaps that is a better way to go for it.

On the way to the olive field, one of the olive leaves dropped and was just lying on the floor.

Deerling loves munching leaves so much it gained some strengths from doing so. Another proof why Normal-type is better because no Pokemon can eat Normal-type moves like that.

Anyways, Smoliv will be the newest recruit as Arceus's messenger. May it blossom one day.

Ah, the recruits just keep coming. Starly is a fierce birdie but is at least a thousand times quieter than Squawabilly.

A wandering Gimmighoul was seen in Mesagoza, but this is the first chest ghoul to be spotted. Time for Poke Balls.

Since Starly is not afraid of ghosts, it can freely steal all Gimmighoul's coins without much worry.

A Gimmighoul has been caught. The only task left is to evolve this monster. Simple, right?

Suez does not have any retirement plan right now, but challenging Gyms is the one thing Suez does not want to do at 60.

Starly is well equipped to slap its wings on all kinds of bugs it sees. That's gonna be helpful, if say, there is a Bug-type Gym coming ahead.

Huh, pretty sure Squakwabilly already knows Torment with how loud it is at night.

A real Pokemon collector will know that female Combee have red marks on their third face, which means something good.

Why are there so many baby Pokemon around? That's just gonna make filling up the Pokedex much harder.

Suez is never in the mood of delicious cakes. Perhaps this town is made for foodies and not for Suez.

Cortondo is in reach. Forget about the cake shop. It's time for Gym Challenge.

An Infestation of Bugs

Was hoping something more useful, but this guy hands out TMs for Aerial Ace to those who battle enough.

Speaking of battles, there is a Gym in Cortondo. Beating that will make stronger Pokemon easier to catch.

Of course, Nemona just happens to be in the Gym as well. Suez wants the badges and not battles with Nemona.

To get a permission to even the Gym Leader, one would need to roll some olive balls. What a cheap way to find labor force.

Rolling olive will take place near that basket, but there is something else important to do first.

There are wild Eevee living around town. They are rare but that's why Arceus would be so impressed by this.

Eevee has the potential to gain different types of energy, but the best one is always its normal powers.

Igglybuff was delighted to see Eevee finally being caught. The power of happiness allowed it to evolve into Jigglypuff.

As everyone knows, singing with a soothing voice is something completely normal to do, and that'll be Jigglypuff's main job on the team.

You can never have enough Eevee, but when did Achelous split himself into two?

Oh, cool. There are actually wild Jigglypuff floating around. What's the point of evolving an Igglybuff then?

Rolling olive balls involved heavy liftworks for Koraidon and more battling for the trainer. Cool.

Sure would be nice to see some quiet Pokemon that won't inter- *DELELELELE WHOOOOOOOOOOP*

Squawkabilly was caught off-guard by something that manages to be louder. Please do not mimic Kricketune's voice.

Gym Test done, which means the Gym is finally open.

Sure am glad Arceus does not require all sixteen millions form of Vivillon to be caught. What a devil this Pokemon is.

A TM for Draining Kiss was on the ground, which is perfect for someone who just evolved a Jigglypuff.

Ok, it's time to get the Gym out of the way and continue to catch more Pokemon after acquiring the first Gym Badge.

Sweetness Overflows

To obtain the first Gym Badge, one must beat Katy the pastry chef who also happens to run the Gym in Cortondo.

Bug-type Pokemon are annoying creatures that show up everywhere in forests, as one can see from studying the Pokedex.

As shown before, Starly is one of the best counter to Bug-type Pokemon. No thoughts, just Wing Attack.

Not what one would expect a tiny bug to do, but Nymble is kicking Starly, which didn't really do that much.

Another Wing Attack and Nymble's gone. It's so boring who knows what the audience is cheering for.

Is this the right time to learn move? You don't even need any smart strategies to push through this Gym.

What's that? Another Bug-type Pokemon? Perhaps Starly's Wing Attack will take care of it.

Rest assured that Tarountula doesn't actually have big white hands hidden underneath its yarn ball.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Tarountula went down after taking another Wing Attack.

Katy's final Pokemon is her Teddiursa, which is normally a Normal-type Pokemon until she decides to Terastallize it into Bug-type. Traitor.

Since Teddiursa now counts as a Bug-type Pokemon, Wing Attack will be super effective on this bugbear. That's what traitors get.

Teddiursa is wearing a Bug-type crown, but it is still a Normal-type at heart, which mean Fury Swipes hit like heck and is enough to faint Starly.

If Teddiursa wants to play with Fury Swipes, then meet Shroodle, the ultimate Fury Swiper.

Instead of using its claws, Teddiursa is now cutting opponents down with a single piece of nail. That's Fury Cutter for you.

Time to throw some acid on Teddiursa. It won't melt its crown, but that should be enough to wear it down.

Fury Cutter gets stronger on each hit, and the second hit is sharp enough to send Shroodle home.

Teddiursa needs to stop using Fury Cutter, or else it's gonna cut the whole team down. Time to Torment and make it stop.

Fury Cutter has become so strong it almost knocked Squawkabilly out. Never underestimate the power of bear cubs.

Actually, forget about Torment. It's faster to just peck Teddiursa and knock it out.

First Gym Battle done. It's so easy when so many Normal-type Pokemon are also partly Flying-type.

Please do not serve desserts. Just the Gym Badge is fine. Sue is not hungry right now.

Well, Katy is hosting Suez hostage and will not let Suez leave until Suez gobbles all the cupcakes. Bad.

There is a distinctive scent of sweet treats in the air. Gotta leave this area before the Pokemon start chowing down on cupcakes.

Too late now. Eevee stole a cupcake or two and has suddenly gained powers from the Sun. Where is the reverse button when you need it?

Confusion is for the pathetic and weak psychics to use. True saviors of the Lord only rely on regular normal attacks.

Please, Achelous, you need to give up your Psychic powers and must revert to your basic form. This is not good.

*muffled Eevee noises*

Good. Achelous has returned to its natural form and will continue to serve the team. Crisis averted. Please do not randomly transform ever again.

Nemona is finally satisfied after seeing the Cortondo Gym Badge. Perhaps it is time to check up on Arven and see what he's doing.

Sap Sipper

Nothing left to do in Cortondo. Time to ride on Koraidon's back and head to the next area.

Entering a new province means finding much more new Pokemon to catch. Gotta catch them all, you know.

The next set of Pokedex reward is 10 Ultra Balls, which allow trainers to catch Pokemon more easily.

With Yungoos's cold teeth, tiny birds are no longer issues. That is the power of having a Strong Jaw.

There are a few Grass-type Pokemon lurking around, and having a Sap Sipper is so useful for catching these Pokemon. Promise Deerling is not going to eat these two helpless fellows.

Since Squakwabilly has its accuracy lowered by Hustle, having Aerial Ace should be quite handy.

Charcadet is a rare Pokemon that is hidden in this small valley. Time to find some armors to put on this little child.

Suez is no archaeologist, so this item is basically useless. Just know that Cubone does not live in Paldea is fine.

A fairy balloon versus a ghost balloon. Who will win? If there is a stronger wind blowing on the field, these two will probably float to Kalos.

The rewards just keep coming. With the aid of these Experience Candies, evolving Pokemon should be faster as well.

Perhaps using a Flying-type Pokemon against a Mareep isn't a wise idea. If only there is a Ground-type Pokemon on the team.

This is not the right way to go, but there is a Bulk Up TM lying here. Never skip leg days, friends.

Koraidon accidentally dug up some Big Roots under a tree. Maybe Deerling would want to eat this too?

Go to another region to master another form of martial arts. Just like how Suez will travel to another region to catch even more Pokemon after filling up the Paldean Pokedex.

Tera Raid Battles allow trainers to find Pokemon in weird and unusual places. Who would expect to see a Finneon out of water?

Ice Fang isn't just a powerful move to use. It even has a good chance to freeze the opponents.

Sigh ... is it really necessary to put some rock salts in the PC box to register a Pokedex entry?

No. A "no" is a no. This is dangerous, do not ever let strangers hitchhike.

Yungoos had some great times biting Pokemon with Ice Fangs. Perhaps it's time to change a fiery one instead.

A Meowth? The Kanto-classic cat Pokemon? That is a certified Normal-type Pokemon, so Suez will need to find a wild one quickly.

If you thought one Squawkabilly is bad enough, get ready for fighting a Squawkabilly with another Squawkabilly.

There are not much to do on the high grounds, so the wise thing to do is to jump off this cliff.

The lower ground isn't that much more exciting either, but there is a small tunnel hidden, and that's where the good things are at.

Wild Sableye live in this tunnel. Just make sure it can't see your gems or else it will make you go bankrupt.

But no one is here to find Sableye. Everyone knows the biggest treasure buried in this tunnel is Dunsparce the Land Snake Pokemon.

Dunsparce may not be the strongest Pokemon to put on the team, but give it some time, okay?

Fire Stone is the next reward to be received from the Pokedex App. Just do not let Eevee get close to this thing.

Arven called as it seems like one of the Titans he is chasing after can be found on this mountain. Perhaps now is the time to help him.

Don't be a Thief. If you can be a thief, completing the Pokedex would be so much easier.

Flabebe is a small Pokemon that appears around flower fields. Some people really like to collect these flower fairies.

Such as this trainer in Cortondo who offers a Snom for the Flabebe. A trade is just beneficial for Pokemon collectors, so heck yes.

Suez got a Snom before even coming close to the snowy area. The only left to do is to make friends with it.

Exploding is almost never the right thing to do in battles. At least, that gave the team some easy Experience points.

Fun fact, some people say that the Snarl TMs are made by Zoroark pretending to be humans.

Did Arven say the upcoming Titan is called the Open Sky Titan? It's probably a Flying-type Pokemon then?

Suez was hoping to investigate more about this Bombirdier, but it just faints itself with Memento. Weird decision, but easy Experience.

Memento didn't even hurt Jigglypuff thanks to its Competitive Ability, so Bombirdier's plan completely backfired. Not a smart Pokemon, eh?

Demon Bird

The Titan is near, so the team needs to upgrade their power a little. Evolving Lechonk is the first step to success.

It is possible Oinkologne's sweet aroma would be useful in distracting the aroma. That or its stronger Attack stat.

There is an unidentified flying creature on the mountain, and it is dropping some boulders. Pretty sure Geodude is not in the Paldea Pokedex, so ...

This Bombirdier looks much larger than the one seen earlier. One can say that this one is titanic.

The Open Sky Titan naturally has larger wings than a regular Bombirdier, which means its Wing Attack hurts even more.

Considering the Titan Bombirdier is flying in the air, Headbutting it may not be the best choice since Oinkologne can easily fall off the cliff.

Nothing much Oinkologne can do against this titan bird, so it will just be using Headbutt over and over.

Jigglypuff is up next to deal with the demon bird. Maybe its singing voice can cleanse the evil spirit out of the Titan.

Actually, Jigglypuff is not here for the singing today. It is here to land a Draining Kiss to suck the evil spirit out of the bird.

The Open Sky Titan left before Jigglypuff could land the final blow. What a coward. Running away from a Jigglypuff.

The Titan Bombirdier broke open a small cave and started to eat something. Is that even legal?

Arven showed up just in time when the Titan was eating some herbs. Real convenient that you skipped half of the battle, picnicboy.

Round two with Titan Bombirdier, but this time it has filled itself with mysterious energy.

With Arven joining the battle, the Titan Bombirdier will be too distracted by his Nacli. Then Jigglypuff can start its kissing strategies again.

Jigglypuff didn't do that much with Draining Kiss. But what were you expecting from a Jigglypuff anyway?

Arven's strategy is to have Nacli polish its rocky body. Was hoping for something more effective but sure.

The Titan used Torment on Nacli. At least it isn't trying to poop out some rocks this time.

After raising its Speed with Rock Polish once, Arven thinks it is a good idea to use Rock Polish for a second time. Great.

At least that gave Jigglypuff some time to blow more Draining Kisses. Is Bombirdier finally infatuated now?

Since Nacli has been tormented, it finally started to attack Bombirdier with its Rock-type moves. Maybe you should've done that earlier.

Chucking rocks on Bombirdier has made it quite angry, and its Rock Throw has become so much stronger it almost knocked Jigglypuff out.

Since Jigglypuff was hanging on by a thread, it still has enough energy to blow another Draining Kiss.

That's all the time needed, since Nacli then follows things up with a Smack Down. This battle really could've been done in a round or two ago.

Mission accomplished. Titan down. Arven should be quite happy about this.

True Arceus followers are always busy catching Pokemon. There is no time for resting.

Since Yungoos has such a Strong Jaw, Bite should be stronger than Payback most of the time.

Arven saw Titan Bombirdier eating some herbs and correctly deduced that the Herba Mystica he's searching for can be found in the cave.

The Bitter Herba Mystica is not exactly a great dish. At least Arven made a Titan Badge to celebrate this moment.

Suez is not into sandwich, definitely not one made by bitter herbs. Koraidon can take it if it like sandwiches that much.

Even if there is none left, that is totally fine. Suez needs to head back out for more Pokemon catching now.

After gobbling down the sandwich, Koraidon's body starts twitching like it just mysteriously powered up somehow.

Professor Sada called because she detected an upgrade in Koraidon's surfing ability. That's gonna be useful for finding Water-type Pokemon.

Before Suez continues with her catching quest, she found a Bombirdier chilling outside the cave and click, new Pokedex page filled in.

Deer Friends

Suez has spent enough time on the west side, it's about time to check what kinds of Pokemon can be caught in the East Province.

Before that, a lot more Water-type Pokemon are available now as well. Time for Deerling to shine with its waterproof fur.

Taking an alternate route along the white flowers, one can even find wild Swablu waddling around.

Some may think that Swablu looks like a tiny dragon, but it truly is just a normal flying bird. That makes it a new team member then.

Swablu might not be a strong bird, but it surely can use its cotton-wings to soak up attacks and cure itself.

Since Swablu is the newest member, it can lead the way while the team passes through Cortondo again.

Is that a Wyrdeer in town? Pretty sure it is not native to the Paldea Pokedex, and you can only find its information from reading ancient books.

"Hi! Over here! You're Suez, right? I have been looking for you! But please wait until I finish this donut first."

"I'm from a student association called LACMA. I'll be helping you with your Monotype conquest. Feel free to ask me if you need any aid."

"But first, before you continue with your journey, we gotta take a new picture! I'll be posting on Porygram so everyone knows the LACMA is helping new students!"

Foodie girl did not even let Suez voice her thoughts and just asked Suez to leave emails when in need. And what's up with the LACMA thing? LACMA balls in your mouth, stupid.

That being said, having someone from the Uva Academy will be quite helpful in finding some rare Pokemon. Noted with thanks, foodie girl.

Suez will now officially begin adventuring in the eastern side. It's also important to rotate team members just so everyone gets experience points.

On the eastern side, you can find a regular tiny bird. Clearly just another Normal/Flying-type Pokemon, right?

Unfortunately, Rookidee was not wise enough to unlock its normal-attacking potential. It's still needed for Dex completion, but it will not be on the team.

Speaking of Dex completion, you can get some Net Balls from filling 70 pages, which should be handy when finding Water- or Bug-type Pokemon.

Shinx is not exactly a rare Pokemon, but it is still needed for a perfect Dex completion. Poke Balls, go go go.

There was nothing else interesting in the area, but there is a pile of Litleo Tuft on the ground. Perhaps there are some lions around?

A tiny section of South Province Area Five can be accessed next to Area One. Going out of order, huh.

Oops, fell off the stairs.

There are some Litleo running on the mountain. Do they think they are the Lion King?

You probably were not expecting a lion cub to be modest, but that's how Apollo's story is gonna unfold.

Time for yet another new Pokedex entry, as Starly just got enough levels to evolve into Staravia. Well, there is still way to go.

Just when you thought catching Litleo is exciting, a Stantler ran into Dunsparce and gave it the scariest look of all time.

Stantler's horns can bend air and create bizarre hypnotizing powers. But make no mistakes, it is very much a completely normal deer and is not psychic at all.

Who knows why Smoliv wants to learn Helping Hand? It does not even have hands to begin with.

Stantler is an intimidating and adamant deer that never gives up even in the harshest environment. Quite the opposite of what Litleo is.

Time to test out Staravia's newfound power. It should be more confident facing Fighting-type Pokemon now, with how intimidating it now looks.

Twinkle Tackle is a Fairy-type move used by trainers from other regions. That shouldn't be a thing you encounter in Paldea.

What kind of sparkle or twinkle is this pathetic Starly? Check out the awesome and more powerful Staravia instead.

A Jigglypuff with a water clown hat is just a Jigglypuff. No need to catch another one when there is already one on the team.

Oh, a singer, maybe you want to be friends with Jigglypuff or other Pokemon that learn Sing?

Well, a tiny Igglybuff can get competitive when someone tries to scare it away. Should have known that as a Jigglypuff user.

Right when Suez was trying to see what else live in the region, Arven called as he believes there is another Titan Pokemon lurking here.

A Stony Cliff Titan sounds like something Smoliv should be able to handle. Time for it to show its battling capability.

Which is quite bad, actually. If it can't beat a mere Jigglypuff, what help would it provide against a titanic Pokemon?

Eevee has been a good Pokemon in battles, but it is sometimes a little too affectionate. Did it seriously fall in love after touching that Jigglypuff once? Hopeless.

Is the saying, "Don't be a thief", familiar to you? No? That might be because it is not a very good advice.

Never mind. Maybe stealing lunch from a little goat will result in some unexpected violence.

Stantler has only just joined the team, but it has already put in so much effort by just stomping on random enemies. Good job.

Stomping on others may make some people happy, but most of the time, it will just make Pokemon angry. Like this Klawf here.

Regardless, the important part is that Klawf has been caught, and that's another Pokedex entry filled out.

The Ultimate Lifeform

There is a ruin below the cliffs, which is home to some Steel-type Pokemon. Too bad they are not normal enough for pleasing Arceus.

There is a report of a giant Pokemon hanging on a rock wall. Could this be what Arven's looking for?

There is another Gimmighoul chest hidden on the tower. Gotta grab some more gold coins to evolve this little creepy ghoul.

Destination in sight. The green town over there should have some grassland Pokemon otherwise not available in the stony cliffs.

Defeating enough trainers earns a reward of Shell Bell. If only that would fill in the Pokedex page for Shellder.

Wild Klawf are quite common in the area, but this one feels odd. Can't even scan the Pokedex this far away.

Great. The big Klawf ran away as soon as it saw Suez approaching. Is it because of Koraidon's stupid face?

Klawf can't run away forever. After chasing it down to the top of the cliff, it finally accepted Smoliv's challenge.

Klawf, as a Rock crab, can learn Rock Smash. Suez was not amused.

Smoliv was just a disappointment for the team. On the other hand, Stantler is doing work by simply staring at Klawf.

The problem is Stantler is really just a normal deer incapable of threatening a stone crab outside of stomping.

Unfortunately, Klawf woke up after getting stomped too many times and decided to get angry.

Since Stantler does not have psychic powers, it takes big damage from Rock Smash and is the second one to pay Giratina a visit.

Do not worry. Deerling is here to avenge its deer teammate by just spewing seeds on the crab.

Just like the demon bird seen earlier, demon crab also left the battle field mid-way through. Coward.

Titan Klawf went back to its secret hideout and began eating something. This further confirms that Klawf is what Arven's searching for.

Of course, Arven showed up just in time for the herb. At this point, he is just stalking and trying to steal everything from Suez.

The team took a short rest before the second part of the battle, and Stantler is ready to give its intimidating look again.

This time Arven is doing good damage with its Shellder using Water Gun to soak the crab up. At least better than using Rock Polish.

Well, making Klawf wet also makes it get angrier, and it will now do much more damage with its Rock Smash.

Thankfully, Titan Klawf is correctly unleashing its anger on Shellder, which gave Stantler time to do its own thing.

Which is to stomp on the titanic crab several more times until it is enough for a knockout.

You did it, Stantler, despite not having effective moves to use on a Rock Titan.

The Titan was just the obstacle before the big treasure. Arven is here for the Herba Mystica, the second one among the alleged five.

Sweet food is probably good for your health, so Koraidon can eat it. Again, Suez is not hungry.

It turns out Arven has been hunting for herbs because of its Mabosstiff, a Pokemon not yet registered in Suez's Pokedex.

Mabosstiff has been sick for a while, but Arven has never even visited a Pokemon Center. What an idiot.

Koraidon is now able to dash at a higher speed than usual. Not exactly useful for travelling but better than nothing.

That should be everything done with Area Three. Time to head to the closet town, Artazon, to see what resides over there.

Oinkologne has already been registered in the Pokedex, but Ares should be given a chance to shine as well.

Except it only knows Normal- and Ground-type moves, which are both useless on a floating gas of ghost.

Hey, there is a lively puppy here. Do you think this will cheer Arven up?

Good to see a Happiny trainer here. This trainer is probably quite caring and sweet and deserves Arceus's embrace.

There are flocks of Squawkabilly living around Artazon, but they are yellow. Well, they are not needed for completing the Pokedex. Next one, please.

Same to you too, red Oricorio. It seems like Artazon is just home to Pokemon that changes colors.

The only thing that has caught Suez's interest is this pair of mice hopping around town.

Tandemaus is two creatures fused into one Pokemon slot. That's such a great deal it surely will be helpful to the team.

That should leave the actual town left as the next thing to explore. Look at how smooth this windmill spins. Sure hope there is no lag in this town.

In the Name of Art

Artazon is full of weird buildings and has no Pokemon. Nothing left to do other than challenging the Gym then.

And it is a complete coincidence Nemona is also visiting the same Gym. At least she left before throwing Poke Balls at anyone.

To gain the right of challenge the Gym, one must play a silly game of Hide-and-Seek with silly sunflowers.

This Sunflora does not even know how to properly play Hide-and-Seek, as it picks a fight against Swablu after being spotted.

But finding ten Sunflora is not actually that much of a challenge. The test is passed with flying colors and birds.

Suez has been working hard with the Pokedex and was given a Water Stone as a reward. Just keep that away from Eevee, okay?

Speaking of Pokedex entries, Combee took a while but eventually evolved into a Vespiquen. Time to box her forever.

No time to waste. The next thing to do is to actually challenge the Gym and obtain the next badge.

Suez was not warned that the Gym Leader is crazy, but maybe she should've seen that coming considering the weird obsession of Sunflora seen in this town.

Brassius is a Grass-type trainer, so Staravia should be able to deal with everything, even if its Intimidate wasn't too helpful.

It is probably quite difficult to aim at a flying bird with Sleep Powder. That's why Grass-type Pokemon are no good.

With that, Staravia easily took out Petilil with another hit of Wing Attack. Not even stressed for a bit.

Smoliv is Brassius's second Pokemon, but Staravia should not have any troubles with that either.

While Smoliv managed to survive the hit, all it can do is to slam into Staravia with a weak Tackle.

Time to extract some olive oil for any hungry people here. A second Wing Attack will do the job.

Brassius has only one Pokemon left, which is a Sudowoodo that Terastallizes into an actual tree.

But a good Pokemon collector would know that Sudowoodo is actually a Rock-type Pokemon, so Staravia needs to shred its Flying-typing as soon as possible.

Staravia is now a pure Normal-type Pokemon, as Arceus intended, but its Wing Attack will still hit strong.

Sudowoodo was fooled by Staravia's Terastallization and used the normally effective Rock Throw.

With the power of the Tera-Normal jewel, Staravia can also power up its Quick Attack. The critical hit is just an icing on the cake.

Terastallizing Staravia also makes it not resistant to Grass-type moves, which ultimately led to its demise.

Sudowoodo also gained a Speed boost from using Trailblaze. This is looking bad for Suez.

Can't believe a team member is lost to Brassius of all people. Guess he isn't that incompetent as a Gym Leader.

What's a good Pokemon to use in a town filled with flowers? A venomous mouse, of course.

Sudowoodo is not getting chopped down anytime soon, so Shroodle will need to soak its roots with sprays of acids.

Acid Spray was not enough to drain Sudowoodo dry, so it hit back with a resisted Trailblaze. Shroodle is fine.

Sudowoodo gained enough Speed from using Trailblaze and threw some rocks as Shroodle before it could even blink.

All it takes is another spray of acid, which is finally enough to make the tree go down. Easy.

Brassius is a Grass-type trainer after all, and that's not really all that threatening after all. Second Gym badge acquired.

Brassius has the courtesy of leaving a TM for Trailblaze behind. Too bad Suez has not found a Sudowoodo to use that yet.

No no, Achelous. This is not happening. Evolving into Espeon was not a good idea and neither is Leafeon.

Before Suez can go on to check if Achelous can revert back, a tall man named Hassel asked her some questions. Collecting Gym Badges is not Suez's priority and never will be.

Just like Aphrodite, Ares also evolved into Oinkologne, but the two of them take on different forms.

Male Oinkologne is slightly more aggressive but does not get that many good moves yet. Any true Pokemon collectors would know that.

Perhaps Ares's new evolution has reminded Achelous the importance of sticking to the Normal-type, he is now back to his original form. Good boy.

Sweet Dreams

It's time to move pass Artazon. The windmills are so-not-laggy, but there's nothing else special in that town.

Tarountula has always been a lowly bug creature. It does not improve at all even after evolving into Spidops. Pathetic.

On the other hand, Komala is a mysterious Pokemon formed by an unbreakable force between a koala and a log. Arceus has made Mother Nature so amazing.

Komala will never ever wake up, but that won't stop it from being a good fighter in battle. It will now officially join the team.

Stantler is leading the way and scouts for another potential team member. Do not underestimate Teddiursa just because it looks harmless.

This Teddiursa is a sassy little bitch, so it will just sit back and pick up honey. Well, Suez will give it some time.

There are some Tauros running around trying to kill any trainers they spot. Quite the intimidating Pokemon. Arcues must be so impressed to see Suez catch one for the Pokedex.

Tauros is a Normal-type Pokemon in other regions, but the ones in Paldea are extra aggressive and are deemed not normal enough.

Convisquire also starts appearing in the East Province. Still, it doesn't embrace the Normal fighting-style despite being just a regular bird.

Yungoos is a diurnal Pokemon that becomes stronger under sunlight. Absorbing enough sunlight will cause it to evolve into Gumshoos.

Gumshoos has an even stronger jaw than its pre-evolution, so it should be able to tear all its preys apart with just Bite.
(Ever heard of Hyper Fang? No? Not in Paldea anyway.)

There is still a long way to go, but it's time to celebrate 90 pages of the Pokedex filled up. Suez has been working hard, okay?

That's right. Squawkabilly might be annoying parrot, but it is always serious about providing Fly services.

Woah, this trainer here has a Zangoose. That is definitely a Pokemon Suez wants to recruit for the team.

The location description for wild Zangoose just says it fights Seviper. Come on, anyone who has paid attention in Biology class would know that.

Loaded Dice is handed out to trainers who beat other trainers' asses. It is good for Pokemon that likes using multi-strike moves.

Koraidon was leading the team to move to the next town, until another bike crashes on it.

This bike is not controlled by any trainers. It is actually a wild Cyclizar who seems to have way too much energy to spend.

Dunsparce glared into Cyclizar's sould to paralyze it, but Cyclizar healed itself randomly. Is it trying to be a hero killing Medusa? Pfft.

Cyclizar is has a half-dragon body, but it still relies on a Normal-type battling style. That's fine according to Arceus's guidance.

The path ahead is blocked by something. The anonymous hacker also happens to call Suez at the same time. Coincidence? Probably not.

If you think Cassiopeia is shady, meet Clive, the alternate personality Director Clavell created for himself.

Cassiopeia did mention some Team Star people causing troubles back at school. Who do they think they are stopping Suez from catching Pokemon around the area?

The squad of Team Star students here is named the Fire Crew. Guess that means they use Fire-type Pokemon.

If that's the case, Cyclizar and Litleo will be quite good fighting these Pokemon, but they are new members and need some levels.

One easy way to train your Pokemon is to bring them outside while catching more Pokemon. Two birds, one stone, really.

100 Pokemon registered in the Pokedex. 25% done, but the remaining 75% is gonna be the big problem.

The Team Star base was guarded by a random grunt. Guess that'll allow the team to test the waters a little bit.

As expected, an evil and fiery Pokemon based on Cerberus is something a Team Star Grunt would use.

Oinkologne usually uses Dig to find mushrooms to eat, but this move will now be used for putting out fire.

Cassiopeia sent challenge letter using Suez's name. Identity theft is not a joke, but Team Star definitely is.

A wild Charcadet came out of nowhere, and Director Clavell seems to know it personally. What a weirdo.

Director Clavell believes that Charcadet is part of the Fire crew too. Please just arrest that fire child then.

Cassiopeia then called and said something about the Fire Crew's boss. Who in the freak even asked?

Team Star is a group of thugs that battle using unfair strategies. They will throw out a lot of Pokemon, while Suez can only send three in. They shall be punished by Arceus for this.

It's time to raid Team Star's base. Suez can only use 3 Pokemon, but they'll need to defeat 30 foes in total.

These three are Suez's best soldiers. It should not be too surprising to see them finish the work within 2 minutes.

The little Grunts are not what Suez is here for. The base is guarded by their big boss, Mela, and she will be going down.

Mela's first Pokemon is her Torkoal. She tries to play it smart by using Drought to turn the day sunny, but Zeus is here on Suez's side.

Dunsparce is the one leading the team, and it will be using Ancient Power for a super effective hit that can also boost its own stats.

On second thought, maybe there is no need fishing for stat boosts, since Torkoal can clear everything with smog.

Dunsparce has good potential, but it is still quite weak right now. Even its second Ancient Power did not do too much.

Mela is probably worried about the rain, as she does not seem to do anything other than asking Torkoal to use Clear Smog.

Time for Suez to change her game plan. Dunsparce will be using Screech to weaken Torkoal's impenetrable Defense.

Torkoal is still using Clear Smog, which has done quite a bit of damage to Dunsparce over time.

Because of that, Dunsparce's Flail should be quite charged up. It will likely outpower Ancient Power at this point.

Flail keeps getting stronger, but it was not strong enough to knock Torkoal out.

Guess Dunsparce will never beat the allegations of being a weakling. It's about time Arceus blesses it with something good.

Komala is here to pick things up. It rolls with its log and does more than enough to send Torkoal back to its shell.

Suez has seen Revavroom in textbooks before. This is not a legal form of it. Cheating, cheating.

Pretty sure this Blazing Torque is also not legitimate. This whole Team Star base has been a fraud.

Since Komala is using Rollout for a second turn, its power has doubled up, which did ok to threaten the big car in front of it.

Said car is not an actual Pokemon, has a made-up move and even has an Ability that does not belong to Revavroom. Arceus will not approve this.

Revavroom is now using Screech, which is at least an actual move learned by the car Pokemon. Too bad that ain't gonna wake Komala up.

That's just gonna give Komala another turn for rolling out, which will keep getting stronger.

Revavroom switches back to its illegal torque move afterwards, which left Komala with next to no health.

Rollout has been quite effective, but the illegally manufactured car just had way too much health. Komala is in deep shit.

Komala will now be sleeping in Arceus's embrace. That's what happens when you get run over by a big car.

Too bad Revavroom was not engineered to block Intimidate. One scary look from Stantler scares the shit out of it.

Revavroom has been running at high speed for a while now, which does cause its engine to overheat. That will also make its Special Attack suffer.

Revavroom has been severely weakened, and Stantler has to do something big here. It uses Take Down even though it will take some recoil damage. What a brave soul.

For some reasons, Revavroom is not using the torque move anymore. Did Mela forget to illegally up its PP?

Thanks to that, Stantler find a second opportunity to slam Revavroom with Take Down. The deer has now killed the car.

Mela was finally defeated, and she seemed to like Dunsparce quite a lot. If she switches to using Normal-type moves, maybe Arceus will forgive her.

Before Mela gets to pack her things and leave, she took a photo with Suez as a photo evidence her squad has lost.

Mela even handed out a TM for Flame Charge, which may be helpful on Litleo.

Cassiopeia somehow knew Suez has finished her mission. Whatever, as long as they can give Suez back the Arc Phone.

Cassiopeia has added some TM recipes to the TM Machines, which should be quite helpful since many Normal-type Pokemon can learn a bunch of TM moves.

Eevee backpack girl made an unexpected appearance and delivered some Pokemon materials. Was she busy killing Pokemon for these?

With the blockade gone, Suez can now travel to the next town, the one shining in all sorts of colorful lights.

City Folks

After clearing the Team Star Fire crew, it is now time to move forward, except a strong Alomomola needs to be defeated first.

Alomomola is a defensive Water-type Pokemon. Regular attacks might not do well, so using Super Fang might be a good idea.

On second thought, just sending in a Grass-type Pokemon will probably be the fastest way out.

Filling in 110 volumes in the Pokedex reward trainers with Exp Candies, which can then be used to evolve more Pokemon and fill in more pages.

Suez has yet to be there, but there are rumors of strong Pokemon residing in that area. Perhaps Suez needs to enter the area with brute force.

Cubchoo is not native to this area. In fact, none of the places visited so far is cold enough for Ice-type Pokemon to live in.

The route was just filled with boring trainers and their weak Pokemon. Nothing much can stop Suez from entering Levincia, the next big city for Gym challengers.

A Deerling trainer. This person even uses an uncommon form of Deerling, so he probably knows a lot about Normal-type Pokemon.

Even better, the trainer sent a Stantler out afterwards. Guess he really likes training deer Pokemon.

Oinkologne has not been doing so well in battles. At this point, it won't be able to serve Arceus well as a messenger.

A TM for Stomping Tantrum has been given to Suez. It would be very useful if Suez runs into a bunch of Electric-type Pokemon.

Before Suez goes to the city, Suez needs to check this patch of grass to see what can be caught here.

This pile of sludge has been blessed by Arceus to reborn as a Pokemon. Guess it makes sense to see Grimer next to the big city.

Squawabilly of the White Plumage is the rarest form. Consider yourself lucky to find one.

Considering everyone uses a Rotom Phone nowadays, it is quite strange one would need to go out of their way to catch a Rotom to officially register its Pokedex entry.

Suez picked up a TM for Surf, which would've been great if Suez has a Bibarel, the closest thing to Arceus.

Suez then takes a break from catching Pokemon. She will now be collecting clothing items. First, a pair of Normal-looking sneakers.

Someone dropped a pair of glasses on the ground. It would be quite unwise to return these glasses to their original owner, so Suez will be pocketing them.

Suez also picked up an Oval Stone next to a tree, simply because that will make Happiny happy.

Suez will now be rocking these blue sporty sunglasses. Not everyone is worthy enough to see Suez's eyes.

From now on, Suez will be wearing these items. Please feel free to drop some Poke Balls and rare Pokemon if you spot Suez.

The lady thanks Suez by giving Suez a Haunter in exchange for a Pincurchin. As long as it counts as a free Pokedex entry, who cares?

Since Haunter evolves into Gengar upon trading, that's another Pokedex entry filled in with one trade. Suez is delighted.

Pokemon that only evolves from trading are hard to obtain. Perhaps Suez should find some trading partners, since not everyone is going to hand out free Haunter.

Pre-Gym Trouble (1)

With nothing else to do, Suez made the unwise decision of stepping in the Gym, which immediately made Nemona rush to the Gym.

Nemona does nothing other than stalking trainers just so she can challenge others. She has some deep issues.

Pokemon battles are the best way to trainer Pokemon, so Suez still accepted Nemona's challenge, with Oinkologne versus Rockruff starting the battle.

Oinkologne normally uses Dig to find mushrooms, but today it will be using the move for a surprise attack from the underground.

Unfortunately, Rockruff used Double Team while Oinkologne was hiding down below and evaded the Dig attack. This is not a good day for Oinkologne.

Thanks to Arceus, Oinkologne managed to dodge an upcoming attack as a fair trade. Guess Rockruff does not have very keen eyes.

Oinkologne tried its Dig for a second time and was able to knock Rockruff out in one hit. Suez's patience has been rewarded.

Nemona's next Pokemon is her Pawmi. For some reasons, it has not evolved into a Pawmo after all this time.

A weak Pawmi is nothing against Oinkologne's Dig. Pawmi can do nothing other than kneeling down.

Pre-Gym Trouble (2)

Nemona's first two Pokemon both fainted to Dig. Clearly a battle master like her would not bring a third Pokemon weak to Ground-type moves, right?

Never mind. Her ace Pokemon is a Crocalor, Terastallized into a Fire-type too.

Since a Fire-type Pokemon is still going to be weak to Ground, Oinkologne will go back to the underground for another return trip.

Crocalor has only just entered the field, and it's already feeling tired. That's what old age does to you.

Oinkologne struck Crocolar with its Dig attack, but the beefy crocodile did not get knocked out in one hit.

Crocolar went for Yawn again, but this time it actually made Oinkologne drowsy. Darn lazy pig.

Since Oinkologne is getting sleepy, it is no use going for Dig again. Unfortunately, Covet is just not strong enough.

Crocalor used its Tera-jewel to power up its Incinerate and roast Oinkologne alive. It's burning in hell.

This is also the turn where Oinkologne falls asleep. Sloth really is the biggest enemy of success.

Somehow, Oinkologne got roasted for a second time and still did not wake up. Guess someone will be having rotisserie tonight.

One Incinerate is alright, but three is definitely too much. Suez might need to consider giving Oinkologne some protection against Fire-type moves.

If Nemona's strategy is to put Pokemon to sleep with Yawn, the ever-sleeping koala should be an effective counter here.

Except Komala missed its Rollout. You really cannot expect that much from someone who does not open their eyes.

While Komala's log looks very flammable, it still only took neutral damage from Incinerate. That's the beauty of Normal-type Pokemon.

This battle has gone for long enough. Komala decided to end everyone's suffering with a super effective Rollout.

When this battle ends, everyone will go back to their normal selves, living the same old boring routine. Is that really the end of sufferings then?

Honey, you are talking to the almighty Suez. She has seen much more than you've ever battled.

Glad Nemona decides to peace the freak out. The Gym battle is the important part here, can't be missing that.

Following Zeus' Steps

To pass the Gym Test in the Levincia Gym, one must star in Iono's streams. Oh, the youngins these days.

Iono seems to be what people call a streamer. Has nothing to do with Oceanus or Tethys, just someone who puts everything about themselves online.

What a coincidence Director Clavell also got invited to this stream. Pretty sure everyone in this darn academy is following Suez.

Playing with hide-and-seek with Director Clavell is like having an arm wrestling battle with an infant. Easy.

Iono is all about modern technology, so it shouldn't be too surprising to see her Gym revolve around the concept of electricity.

Which is why Oinkologne's Dig will keep being useful. If it can KO that Pawmi, it should not find any problems against these random guys.

Besides, the opponents won't be able to see where Oinkologne is. That's one way to keep your Pokemon safe.

Suez is glad to see other trainers following Zeus by mastering electricity, but Suez will always be Zeus' number one follower.

Iono has a few fans backing her up. Must be good being a streamer, since her fans just keep giving her money.

At least this one trainer is quite smart to use a Levitating Pokemon, which can dodge Ground-type moves. Too bad Tynamo is too weak to even take Covet.

When they switch to Flaaffy, it's time for Oinkologne to go back to digging.

The only issue with hitting a Flaaffy is that they sprinkle cotton everywhere. But hogs are always dirty anyway.

This Flaaffy reminds Suez of Johto, an elegant region filled with traditional buildings. Suez is lucky enough to have visited that place once.

Iono has a strong army of collector fans, but they are no match for Suez. That means Iono is the next one to battle.

Before Suez continues with her Gym conquest, she went back to the Pokemon Center for healing and noticed something special.

The family of mice just expanded into a family of four unexpectedly. Nobody knows for SURE, but those two mice were definitely fuc

A Spell of Thunder

Please do not compare Suez to a measly Wattrel. A tiny water bird does not represent the great goals Suez has on her mind.

Speaking of Wattrel, that will be Iono's first Pokemon. Not a very threatening lead at all.

Cyclizar will be leading the Arceus follower team by using Breaking Swipe to weaken its foes.

The weakling Wattrel can only use Pluck on Cyclizar, except it wasn't holding berries anyway.

Cyclizar then finished its dirty job by spinning rapidly. That's how it heats its engine up and starts blazing through the highway.

As Suez said, a lowly Wattrel does not represent the great ideas held by Suez. It is just a small bird that gets wrecked in two turns.

Iono's next Pokemon is at least somewhat larger in size. Luxio came in and gave Cyclizar a scary look.

If Iono wants to play the game of nerfing attacks, Cyclizar's Breaking Swipe is not going to lose.

Luxio is known for its tendency to bite its targets. Since Cyclizar has soft meat, it should not take that much damage.

As Cyclizar continues to strike with Breaking Swipe, Luxio's second Bite is even weaker in power.

It's time to go fast again. Cyclizar accelerates with Rapid Spin. Whatever Iono has next should not be faster than it.

That's Luxio done. Electric-type Pokemon usually have admirable power, but this Iono girl is not that much.

Iono's next Pokemon is her Bellibolt. It is a beefy Pokemon so Cyclizar will need to play the long game here.

While Breaking Swipe is always useful in lowering Attack, it also gave Bellibolt a power boost with its Electromorphosis.

That being said, Bellibolt's Spark still does not hit that hard, since Cyclizar's dragon skin is electric-proof.

Even though it will trigger whatever-morphosis again, Cyclizar still needs to use Breaking Swipe to weaken the frog.

Bellibolt is an aquatic Pokemon, so it shouldn't be too surprising to see it use Water Gun. That still does not do much on a Dragon-type Pokemon.

Cyclizar and Bellibolt traded hits for yet another turn, which results in Cyclizar getting paralyzed by Spark.

After getting immobilized by the paralysis, Cyclizar eventually succumbed to Bellibolt's electricity. If only it has an Ability that can get rid of unwanted status conditions.

Paralysis led to Cyclizar's demise, so it would be wise to send in something that cannot be paralyzed. Komala immediately finished things up with a Rapid Spin.

Bellibolt really is a bulky Pokemon, but it is rather weak in attacking powers. Thank you for wasting everyone's time.

Deerling is on the standby bench, but that fight still gave it enough experience points to learn Zen Headbutt. That will be useful if it runs into Fighting-type Pokemon.

Iono's team of Electric-type Pokemon are all down, so she has to send in her secret ace. A Mismagius wearing a light bulb on its head.

Anyone who has dealt with witches before would know that an asleep witch is better than an awake witch.

It seems like Iono is also trying to put some annoying conditions on Komala. It worked, as Komala hit itself after getting flashed by Confuse Ray.

Thanks to its Electric Tera-Jewel, Mismagius is able to blast Komala with a charged-up Charge Beam.

It even managed to charge its Special Attack to a higher power. This witch is getting dangerous.

Komala is still dazed by its confusion, while Mismagius is having sweet dream. What an eventful turn for everyone watching Iono's stream.

Komala then snapped out of its confusion and slammed right into Mismagius' witch hat. It did quite a lot due to Mismagius's poor defense.

In order to make sure Komala gets the speed advantage even if Mismagius wakes up, it needs to use Rapid Spin for a speed boost.

Except Mismagius never woke up in that battle and will not wake up after the battle either, as it fell to Komala's second Slam.

Iono's Mismagius is actually quite strong, but nothing can stop Komala. It sure is better to live in your dreams.

With Iono defeated, Suez received her third Gym Badge, which should make even more Pokemon easier to catch.

Suez needs to peace out after getting the Gym Badge though. Starring in streams is just not Suez's style. See ya.

Surf and Catch

After the electrifying battle with Iono, it seems like Achelous has absorbed enough power to evolve into Jolteon.

It turns out someone was speculating Suez's Gym match. That is just an unfortunate drawback of being famous.

However, Suez must insist that catching all Pokemon is the only thing she ever seeks. Beating Gym Leaders is just a stepping stone.

This woman is actually the person running all these Gyms. Sorry if this sounds rude, but Suez does not care about the League.

Suez gave Achelous a warm reminder of the value of the Normal-type. Achelous is now back to normal. Thank Arceus.

Levincia is a big city, but there is nothing much Suez wants here now. It is time to move on, perhaps to the dry and avid Area Three of the East Province.

Except Suez has something better in mind. Remember than Koraidon can swim now, and that will be useful in conquering the East Paldean Sea.

Of course, water activities are not exactly thrilling for Suez, but aquatic Pokemon take up a large portion of the Pokedex, so ...

Besides, this is a great way to train up the rest of the team. First Skwovet has now eaten too many berries and has evolved into Greedent.

Happiny had some fun time with its Oval Stone and evolved into a Chansey as well. The team should no longer need to worry about getting injured.

Greedent fools its opponents with its silly appearance, but it has some strong power especially since it stays loyal to the Normal-typing.

Chansey, on the other hand, has very weak power physically it can barely stand up. It will mostly serve as the caretaker of the group. Neat.

Pokemon are not the only things that can evolve. Skilled trainers also keep track of what moves they can get and teach their Pokemon.

Hyper Beam and Giga Impact are about some of the strongest Normal-type moves one can get. Great news for Suez.

There are three TMs lying on this island that teach the pledge move. Suez does not give a pledge.

Suez has already caught a Magikarp a while ago but does not have the time to raise one. Just catching a wild Gyarados is way more efficient. Arceus is not going to wait for slowpokes.

Speaking of not wasting time, Suez can now chuck some Quick Balls to quickly snatch some Pokemon. Ok, next.

As expected, the East Paldean Sea is just vast mass of water with nothing exciting going on. Time to move on to the South Paldean Sea, which is not going to be any better.

After surfing for some period time, Suez decides to take a rest at the Secluded Beach. The blueness of the ocean hurts Suez's eyes.

Next to the Secluded Beach is a swamp forest, which is home to several interesting Pokemon not found in anywhere else.

Vigoroth has so much energy to burn, which makes it the perfect member for hunting Pokemon. It just can't stop moving.

There is also a Seviper sneaking around in the forest. While Suez does not care about Poison-type Pokemon, the appearance of Seviper suggests something exciting.

That's right. Anyone who has the slightest Pokemon knowledge will know that Zangoose always resides in the same place as Seviper.

And Zangoose is yet another spirited Normal-type fighter. Its sharp claws will surely help the team out.

Normal-type Pokemon or not, Suez has been busy catching everywhere and is thus rewarded a Dusk Stone. Would be helpful if Suez also catches something like a Misdreavus.

Right when you thought Suez is done with this secret forest, a Slakoth fell from a tree. Gotta be careful hanging on trees.

Well, Suez already has a Vigoroth, but an entry of Slakoth is still very much needed for Pokedex completion.

Slakoth is way lazier than is evolution. In fact, they are like two different species. Must as well keep both of them on team.

Suez gets several new members on the team, so it's time to test their strength. First, Vigoroth used its never-ending passion to burn Snom up.

Next, Zangoose showed Bagon who is boss. It doesn't just hunt snakes down. It is simply thristy for blood.

Suez also noticed the Bagon used by the trainer. There are rumors that certain Pokemon can only be found by students from other academies. Suez thinks that is a stupid idea that infringes Arceus's principles.

Zangoose then proceeded to slice down a Deino. At this point, it is going to be a dragon slayer.

Speaking of dragons, Dratini is usually a rare sight in fishing ponds. Suez is lucky enough to find one hiding in a Tera cavern.

Sour Grapes

This so-called tourist spot is actually just a boring beach. There is nothing else to do, might as well fight the trainer here.

Indeedee is a fantastic Pokemon that balances between psychic powers and normal powers. Truly fascinating.

Stantler is also trained at using Psychic-type moves, but it still mostly relies on brute force. Slamming everything with Take Down is a simple and direct way of doing damage.

Suez needs to know where this trainer finds an Indeedee, since there aren't any near the beach at all.

Oh yes, an Azumarill. The Pokemon that once belonged to the normal-attacking crew until it evolved into a water mouse.

Arceus created Pokemon that resemble all types of creatures: deer, cats, dogs and of course, stomachs.

Beating that trainer allows Suez to obtain an Eviolite. Usually you want Pokemon to fully evolve, but not with this item in hand.

Staravia still has the potential to further evolve, so it can use the Eviolite until the day it grows into a Staraptor.

Suez has been catching many Pokemon, but it is never enough. There has to be a way to make more wild Pokemon show up.

Maybe foodie girl will be able to do something, since she is from the Uva Academy. Besides, she did mention she can offer help if needed.

There she goes. The Monotype Association she mentioned seems to be quite a reliable committee. Time to mark their email down.

Foodie girl immediately rushed upwards to the hills. Suez also wishes Koraidon can do the same trick. Maybe it needs to eat more sandwiches.

For some reasons, foodie girl radiates an aura that attracts rare Pokemon that wouldn't show up. The power of exchange student is simply astonishing.

Misdreavus is normally impossible to find, but now it can be quite commonly seen around foodie girl. Time to throw some Poke Balls then.

Since Misdreavus is normally not seen, Mismagius would have been a living nightmare to obtain. But now, just using a Dusk Stone will do.

"You want to find Dragon-type Pokemon living in the area? They are usually quite rare. Time to pull out my secret weapon!"

Suez is not sure what foodie girl is planning here, but joining a picnic with Wyrdeer might just give the team a boost in their telepathic power.

Foodie girl insists that Suez should make a sandwich with her. It is spicy as heck, and Suez does not understand why foodie girl is having so much fun.

It turns out putting random food items together will create a magic power that makes Dragon-type Pokemon show up more frequently.

Besides, Pokemon will also gain Experience Points in picnics. Perhaps picnics are not that bad, but Suez is still not interested in hosting one.

Does the Uva Academy excel at paranormal researches? Is that why ghosts show up around foodie girl? Anyway, Dreepy is now caught.

Axew has always been a rare find in the wild. Guess it has been lured in by the sweet sandwich scent.

Finally, there is a Bagon trying to fly around the cliffs. One day, Bagon. One day you will able to spread your wings, probably.

There are now 140 volumes of the Pokedex filled. Perhaps it is actually time to properly thank foodie girl for her assistance.

"Oh, no worries! LACMA is always here to help you. Feel free to find me or our chairperson if you need any help!"

"You haven't been to the Cascarrafa Gym, right? That's my favorite place to go! It's just further down this way after the windmills."

With that, foodie girl went back to her academy. Suez should probably follow her suggestion and move to Cascarrafa then.

Trainers around this area are not that tough, so it should be an easy path to clear.

A Luxury Ball is just lying on the field. It might be wet from the rain, but it will still make the Pokemon you catch more friendly.

And that is exactly why Black Belts are the worst trainers in the entire region. They just have to pick the one type that beats Normal-type Pokemon.

Speaking of black belts, there is a TM for Low Sweep. Too bad there aren't any Fighting-type Pokemon on Suez's team.

A new wild encounter around this place is Numel. This thing is so slow on everything it didn't even notice Stantler is trying to scare it away.

It is probably not going to work if you burrow yourself into the ground.

This tiny girl trainer is using a tiny girl as a Pokemon. This might step into slavery territory.

Area One is quite a large area. Suez defeated 16 trainers before even realizing it.

A Clear Amulet is probably quite good for someone who likes doing Pokemon battles. Perhaps not the best item for Suez's Pokemon.

Suez can never be too mean towards a Dunsparce trainer. In fact, everyone should train a Dunsparce to learn its calmness.

Dunsparce can learn many weird moves. Rolling is cool, but it should try using its tail to drill.

The ruins are usually homes to creepy ghosts and Drowzee, but this one right here is where you can find Falinks. It is weird how some Pokemon are always found in a group of six.

Marill might have betrayed the team by turning into a Water-type, but it will always be a part of the team. It deserves to evolve into an Azumarill.
