Pokemon Skill Swap VGC 2010 team!

Well, heres my first attempt on my team,

2 sent out first:

Smeargle/Timid/Focus sash/Own Tempo
EVS/ / 255 Speed/ 127 Defense/ 128 Sp defense

Dark Void
Sheer Cold
Safe Guard
Skill Swap

My stragety here is to do dark void(as always) and then do skill swap. Now, after that, I will use Sheer Cold Which 1 hit KO moves are allowed in VGC 2010.His role is to Out speed alot of pokemon But i just have defenses just in case=P and i dont need attack beacuse, well, he has bo attacks, and last safeguard is when theres another smeargle and safeguard not to get hit by Dark Void.

Machamp/Adamant/Choice Band/No Guard
EVS/ 252 Attack/ 48 Sp D/ 210 Defense

Dynamic Punch
Low Kick
Earthquake
Ice Punch

For this Machamp, His role is to give His ability To smeargle(from skill swap) but first get a dyanmic punch out Before Smeargle Gets the ability.
Low kick is for the eavys (kyogre, groudon, etc) Earthquake is when my magneaone does Magnet rise And It will not hurt Magnezone. Ice Punch is for dragons and others, and choice band Is for more attack.

Magnezone/Modest/Choice Specs/Sturdy

200 SpD/110 Defense/ 200 Sp Attack

Magnet Rise
Thunderbolt
Zap Cannon
Flash Cannon

Well Obviously this is my special attacker. Aslo When Smeargle Passes the skill swap to Magnezone, Zap Cannon Will be 100% accuaracy. Thunder Bolt OR Flash Cannon Will do for STAB damage, and of course, MAgnet rise will be for the ground types. Choce SSpecs ARe for more damage.

Kyogre/Timid/Choice Scarf
252 Special Attack/252 Speed/ 4 Hp

Water Spout
Thunder
Sheer Cold
Rest

So of course, This is a Speed Water Spout Kyogre.Yhe reason i have sheer cold is if Smeargle Passes the skill swap to kyogre(if not, Then it will go to Magnezone. Thunder IS for other Hard waters to beat(kyogre) Rest isjust to heal it and water spout Is the move when it has high HP.

Any suggestions? I would love to here Them

You are relying to much on Smeargle getting all those Skill Swaps off. He will be lucky to get 1 off because he is so fragile.

To elaborate...

You say these things as if Smeargle and Machamp will survive to do their jobs. They will most likely not. For example, a very common Ludicolo + Scarfed Kyogre lead can take them both down in the first turn before they even get a chance to move. Scarfed Dark Void Smeargle, Exploding leads, Fake Out... all of these things will wreck your plans before they even start, and all are common.

There's no point in using Sheer Cold to deliver KOs in the VGC when sheer power is better. And there's plenty of sheer power around that doesn't need to be set up with Skill Swap.

First and foremost, I highly recommend that you don't waste your chance at using two ubers, the opportunity doesn't deserve to be missed.

As for your current team, I agree with the above. Smeargle is basically the only thing your team is based around, and he's way to fragile to do what you want him to. You expect that you'll always pull off a solid Dark Void. But if you opponent leads with fake out, like most do, then they will use it on Smeargle and take him out on the next turn. It's very hard to rely on OHKO moves in this metagame.

Also, what's with the choice items? If you are left with two pokemon, you will not be able to switch them out to switch moves. You could get stuck Magnet Rising (wtf is this doing there?) and Low Kicking a Shedinja. What if you lock Kyogre into Rest? Or Water Spout on low HP?

Also i suggest u fix up the evs on smeargle. 255evs is the same as 252 and 127 is the same as 124. I agree with everything that has been said above and i suggest u dont use non damaging moves with choiced pokes or just dont use choice items at all.

I'll preface this by saying I think this is likely a waste of effort, since the 1HKO moves don't strike me as a particularly effective way to conduct a double battle, especially in a setting where there are Ubers around, and I don't think it's likely you'll get a Dark Void off. However, assuming you manage to do so:

Role play works through Protect. Remove Low Kick and replace it with Protect, and replace Skill Swap with Role Play. This will allow you to have a difficult to pin down Machamp that can Protect itself on the first turn, potentially avoiding Explosions and etc especially if you missed with Dark Void on one pokemon. This would allow you to open with Dark Void and Dynamic Punch followed by a Role Play to set up Sheer Cold with.

Speaking of Protect, this move is widely used and will block OHKO moves even with No Guard.

I'd move the Special defense Evs into defense or HP. With a focus sash you're expecting him to be fragile, but let's concentrate on the fact that your worst enemy right now is fake out + another move. You need to figure out a way to survive those assaults, and fake out is the predictable one.

Same idea for the Machamp, go with the bulkier spread used for the RestTalker set. After all, he's not there to do damage right? Just absorb it and cause confusion until he dies.

That's all I can think of to maximize the potential of your opening combo. Without Skill Swap, you'll have to come up with how to fit the last two pokes in, or if they even do, but it's completely unrealistic to expect that a fragile pokemon can survive long with No Guard and pass it on.

Besides what everyone else has already said, Smeargle is faster than Machamp. So, Dynamic Punch is doing absolutely no good if Smeargle has already skill swapped.
