Pokemon Spinoffs Forum

Obviously, Pokemon [color, mineral, or metal] isn't the only thing in Pokemon on this planet. There is more than one type of game with the word "'Pokemon" in it, including:

-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (Red/Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Time/Darkness/The Sky)
-Pokemon Snap
-Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2
-Pokemon Colleseum (only hardly discussed)
-Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness (again, discussed only because of new movesets)
-Pokemon Battle Revelution
-Pokemon Trozei
-Pokemon Ranger (2 or 3 of them)
-Pokemon Dash (not really fit to be called a Pokemon game >_>)
-Hey You Pikachu!
-Pokemon Channel
-Pokemon Puzzle League
-Pokemon Pinball (Blue and Red, Ruby and Saphire)
-Pokemon Ranch
-Pokemon TCG Video Game
and thats not all, either. Even as I type, they continue to churn out these spin offs, like:
-Pokemon Runble, a real-time game where your pokemon fight in a battle-royale
-Pokepark Wii: Pikachu's Great Adventure, basically Pokemon Channel but in a theme park
-Moar Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, for the Wii

and there isn't a single forum to discuss any of these games, bar the GC games, despite this being a POKEMON FORUM.

Heck, there isn't even a place to discuss the Trading Card Game.


So the obvious suggestion is, the place needs a forum to discuss said spinoff games, since most of them do have enough strategy in them to be discussable in a Pokemon Forum bent on the metagame and the strategy aspect of Pokemon.
The TCG, at the very least, could use a forum. That alone has almost, if not just as much of a metagame as the videogames.

I'm in the process of setting up a small forum dedicated to Mystery Dungeon. I am quite a novice at the sort of thing, but the other aspects of the Pokemon world do need to be represented in a grander scale.

Smogon is dedicated to competitive pokemon, as in Shoddy Battle. As far as I know, Smogon isn't planning to expand (especially to the non-competitive aspects) to other games, even if they have pokemon in the title.

Ya, this will never happen and its been discussed before.

You are more than welcome to go to other sites that cater specifically to what your asking for (Pokebeach for TGC discussion for example). Or you can always set up your own site with your ideas.

Smogon is for discussion of competitive pokemon, so most of the games in your list are probably not going to be discussed here. However, you are free to use the social groups feature of the forum to discuss titles like Pokemon Pinball and whatever else.
