Pokemon Videogame Showdown Team RMT

This is my team for the Pokemon Videogame Showdown in Los Angeles. I've done a complete make over of the original team to create this beastly team. Here's the overview of the team:

Claydol Dusknoir Empoleon Tangrowth

Here's the movesets:
dpmfa344.png

Claydol@ Light Clay
Relaxed
Levitate
Ev's 252 HP 210 SpD 42 Def 6 Atk
~ Reflect
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Beam
~ Explosion

(1st Starter) Claydol's Goal is to trick the opponent into thinking it's going to explode. When Claydol is in play as a starter, 99% of the time, The opponent WILL use Protect. So take advantage of that by using Reflect, while they pointlessly use protect. He can explode if the opponent has a major threat infront of you.

Dusknoir@ Leftovers
Impish
Pressure
Ev's 252 HP 200 SpD 52 Atk
~ Trick Room
~ Fire Punch
~ Pain Split
~ Snatch/Double Team

Dusknoir really can trick the opponent into think claydol is going to explode with his Ghost typing. On the first turn, Trick room so that him and claydol will be outspeeding just about everyone. Snatch is very good when you know the opponent is going to stat up or try to heal itself. It does very well when the opponent subs up. though, the use of snatch on dusknoir is sometimes considered a waste of a moveslot so that last one is mainly a filler. Double team is there as a filler also to abuse the ability to use it during this tournament.

Empoleon@ Petaya Berry
Modest
Torrent
Ev's 28 HP 12 Def 252 SpA 216 Spe
~ Agility
~ Hydro Pump
~ Ice Beam
~ Substitute

Empoleon is neutral pokemon of this team. can be fastest wether trick room fails or not. Can agility up and sub down for a petaya,torrent sweep. Hydro pump over surf to not damage claydol or any others whenever using it. and Hydro Pump does more direct damage.

Tangrowth@ Zoom Lens
Impish
Chlorophyll
Ev's 252 HP 228 Def 28 Spe
~ Sleep Powder
~ Power Whip
~ Amnesia
~ Knock Off

This Tangrowth doesn't care at all about being slow. it will work with or without Trick room standing up. Zoom lens is to raise Sleep powders Acc. up to 95% and because the Item clause. Amnesia is a trick kind of move to survive mayby 1 Ice beam.

Well that's my remake of the team please rate. I hope it's better than the last one.

First things first

Gengar can not learn Ice Beam
Return > Slash in any way on Persian
Magnet Rise + Choice Scarf = bad

I would use something else besides Black Sludge on Gengar here. You have a time limit I believe (even if you don't, Gengar isn't gonna stick out for long anyways). Life Orb would be somewhat reasonable here since it gives more Explosion power.

Smeargle is simply too slow for your team. It has no speed boosts whatsoever, so it has 273 speed, which is mediocre. Double battles are extreme in terms of speed-they go really high or really low, and it's rare to see something in between. That means Trick Roomers eat your Smeargle, while faster stuff like Weavile will also crunch down on your Smeargle. You'd either have to give Smeargle Salac Berry (and give it Endure so it can survive things to have the boost), or put it at such a low level so you can abuse Trick Room (although that will change your team). The last option is to change your team completely, which I will not go in depth for.

Please remove spore for dark void on smeargle. There is no sleep clause, and that should be abused whenever possible.
also remove night slash on persian for bite and go with technician to take advantage of fake out more
and i really pray that you dont use support moves like magnet rise and protect on your scarfed metagross

i forgot to mention Taunt has +4 priority and strikes first allmost every time. Anyways, smeargle has 410 spe with scarf attached. I gave metagross brick break for more offense. I fixed gengar for a life orb. persian has return now and has lefties. It's a basic smeargle combo that works nearlly every time.

EDIT: fixed rayford. and thanks. by the way, how am i going to get dark void?
I don't have a darkrai. is it legal if you legit hack and a darkrai with the moves needed from it, sketch them, and then delete the darkrai? because that could be the only other way

okay, you've got some things wrong...

OHKO moves aren't banned.
Taunt doesn't have a priority modifier.
Not all Ubers aren't banned, as well as a few other pokemon. The pokemon not allowed are

* 149 - Dragonite
* 150 - Mewtwo
* 151 - Mew
* 248 - Tyranitar
* 249 - Lugia
* 250 - Ho-Oh
* 251 - Celebi
* 382 - Kyogre
* 383 - Groudon
* 384 - Rayquaza
* 385 - Jirachi
* 386 - Deoxys
* 483 - Dialga
* 484 - Palkia
* 485 - Heatran
* 486 - Regigigas
* 487 - Giratina
* 489 - Phione
* 490 - Manaphy
* 491 - Darkrai

as well as Shaymin and Arceus.

Your team's bias towards high speed is going to bite you when someone uses trick room, which I believe will quite common. Metagross is the only thing that will have a chance, and yours has no priority moves.

What are you planning to do about Latias and Latios, since they're allowed? I can't really see anything besides exploding on them, who will most likely have Protect....

i've completely remade the team so now please rate the new one. I hope it's better than the last one.

Any kind of double-intimidate team will make Claydol less of a threat for exploding and doing as much damage as it should, considering it sits in a neutral attack nature with 6 Attack EVs. Gyarados can Taunt / Team up with its partner to get rid of Dusknoir, even though after 2 Intimidates Thunderpunch would most likely not OHKO. Then again, you don't even have Thunderpunch on Dusknoir. Claydol doesn't fare that well offensively, and most Double battles are speed + Team up on threats + attack / special attack.

Yeah, and well, once Dusknoir dies without doing his Trick Room, the rest of your team fails. I can see it doing well taking hits easily from a double water absorb strategy, but I think you can do better for a Trick Room team that what you have. And Heracross kind of has a Super effective move to deal with every single one of your Pokémon.

then how about an offensive/defensive gliscor with hyper cutter or a metagross with clear body?

Relying on Empoleon as your only sweeper just doesn't make much since, seeing as from the list I have seen Blissey is not banned, nor is Suicune, who can just set up with CM. Maybe put in something like Gyarados or Salamence for some physical power. I am not experienced at all with this tourney however, so ignore me if you wish.
