Hi I'm JMcFizz and that ^ is ur mom, kissing my Seismitoad. I built this team for Research Week, and figured I'd share it, as it became one of my favorite teams, and was pretty easy to use.
Team Preview

This team was premised on the idea of a Spikes offense. With Frostlass gone after Round 1, Spikes Offense saw a significant drop in usage, as did attempts to counter it. As I made this team in the Shuckle meta, and never used lassy, I never missed it. Anyway, the basic idea was setup and keep up spikes, while using Zoro, Rain Dance Toad, and Nasty Room Cofag to take out Pedo's checks and counters. I've had pretty good success with this team, only laddering minorly but didn't make the last push to win research week cuz work. Anyway, this team was a blast to use, and the first team I've made that I feel is sharable, so here you go! Also, it's called poken' ur mom since spikes are annoying af and Toad is fat like ur mom. (it also almost sounds like pokemon)

I first wanted to use Seismitoad, cuz research week. I thought about sets to run, so I decided to try out it's niche as an offensive Swift Swim user. I decided to run Rain Dance itself, so I didn't need another team slot on that.

Next came Sharpedo, to be primarily paired with the Toad. Sharpedo is a top-tier threat atm and in the Shuckle meta, and I used the synergy between the two (having mainly the same checks and counters) as the premise for my primary win condition (the shark). Shark was special btw, so thats why the checks and counters were the same-ish.

After running through calcs for the Toad I saw that (under rain) it came really close to 2HKOing the entire tier. I decided I needed hazards, and opted for spikes, as most of the threats I had to deal with were grounded. Accelgor is the best suicide lead spiker in the tier atm, since lassy is gone. Anyway this guy usually did a good job of getting up a layer or two of spikes, which was his job.

I knew I had to keep spikes up at all costs, cuz without them life gets significantly harder for this team. Cofag and Braviary together provide one of the best tandem hazard keeper teams around. I opted for Cofag over doublade because fuck doublade it's everywhere and annoying af. Cofag was the NastyRoom variety, so it helped Toad take out special walls for the shark if my opponent didn't have a spinner. Braviary has risen in usage since last gen cuz Defiant, so I opted for the majestic bird to do that for me. +2 is pretty nasty to face, so it deters Defog. Since I was worried about stall, which was on the rise, he is a Specially Defensive Sub Bulk Up burd.

Zoroark was the last member of my team to fall in to place, as I wasn't sure what else I wanted. I could have opted for hazard removal, but I didn't want to use defog and none of the spinners looked like they would synergize well with this squad. I went with a mixed Zoro, since it's a huge threat in the current meta atm. He knocked stuff off, took out some big threats (rhyperior) and was my emergency button with Stab sucker punch for things like yanmega. With this addition, I had five possible win conditions and a team that was ready to roll.
The Business

lassy cum bak (Accelgor) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Spikes
- Bug Buzz
- U-turn
- Focus Blast
My lead 99% of the time. His job is to throw down spikes as fast as he can, and die so I can bring in another team member. Max speed is fantastic, cuz base 145 lol. I almost never need to keep him alive, since I try my best to keep spikes up the whole time. If gligar or Golbat are on the other team I'd consider it, but almost always it's not worth it. Bug buzz is for a special stab to use if I have time, which I almost never do. U-turn is for somewhat utility if I keep it alive, and honestly I might have used it once. Focus Blast is for lead Cinccino that want to break my sash (likkle pieces of shit), but against the three I've seen it's missed, so fuq it. Also hitting coballion hard is pretty nice. If they bring in registeel too (big threat to wall sharpedo) it can help keep the pressure up and take a nice chunk of health off. Sash is to give me another turn to get my second layer of spikes up. Basically he does his job of throwing down spikes and that's about it. Named lassy cum bak cuz Frostlass was a way better offensive spiker, but she's gone now. Lacrimo erry day.

Fielder (Cofagrigus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD / 2 Spe
- Trick Room
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
Cofag was one of my favorite UU pokes last gen, and one I already knew a great deal about before making this team. His main role was to spinblock the likes of Hitmonlee/hitmontop/cyro?/kabu? as best he could. He did his job well, as foresight is easy to play around by switching to braviary instead of cofag when it looks like 'top wants to spin, and scaring him out. His alternate role was helping to break down special walls. Nasty Room is, well, nasty af. He outslows everything, and with invested SpAtk punches holes in everyone. People like to toxic him, but using toxic just gives him another turn to either setup NP or TR. By the time the opponent decides to toxic stall, it usually means they're not ready to take him out by force, so he'll net anywhere from 1-4 kills at that point. Named Fielder cuz Prince Fielder and he's a mummy and Prince so yeah... Probably the shittiest name I've ever come up with but hey that guy can HIT.

Ronald Regan (Braviary) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 200 SpD / 52 Spe
Careful Nature
- Substitute
- Bulk Up
- Brave Bird
- Roost
The other half of my hazard-keeping duo. Should have been RU in BW imo, but it was fun to abuse in NU. I considered Scarf and Banded options, espescially since my team was lacking speed at the time I threw him on. However, I opted for sub Bulk up, and I haven't looked back. This set has won me quite a few games by ragequit, since after even a few boosts he can start crushing people, and becomes very difficult to kill. Golbat is a bitch against this set tho, as infiltrator fucks with his subs, and he can stall Ronny out until he gets to defog. Ronny does do a good job of luring opposing Jolteon onto the field if the opponent still has one alive, setting up a perfect double switch to the Toad. Rhyperior also love to come in on this guy to use rock blast, so in that situation it's worth it to sacrifice your sub and a boost or two to switch to the toad, which resists it and can either setup a rain dance, or just go for the outright KO. Anyway this guy does his job well, deterring defoggers and working as another win condition, especially against stall. Named Ronald Regan cuz he looks majestic af, american burd ftw.

ur mom (Seismitoad) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Earth Power
- Sludge Bomb
ur momma so fat... Man this guy looks hideous. The premise of my entire team, the Toad didn't disappoint. Rain Dance Swift Swim outspeeds every unboosted mon in the tier, and several boosted ones. The power behind a LO rain boosted Stab Hydro pump is astonishing, and having a secondary stab in earth power is immensely helpful against foes like registeel and drapion. Also having that stab be 100% is helpful if you reeeeeally can't miss and your foe is in range. I chose Sludge Bomb (90 bp) over Sludge Wave (95) because Bomb has a 30% chance to poison, and Wave has a 10% chance. A 90 bp poison move is a big surprise to a lot of opponents, as many want to try and switch in a grass type as you set up a swift swim, expecting to OHKO you with their x4 effective stab. Then you make them cry with an OHKO of your own. This guy also wrecks offensive teams without strong priority, as he will outspeed almost all their threats and can OHKO many offensive pokes, especially after a layer or two of spikes. Ur mom is also reasonably bulky in stats as well as looks, sporting 105/75/75 defenses, which allow it to take some priority or resisted hits pretty well. I made this set for Research Week, and I'm glad I did because he became the MVP of this team.

i bite (Sharpedo) @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
I know I know... Toxic. WTF? Why not use DBond or Protect instead? Well, there have certainly been times where I've missed having protect to secure a boost, and the point is certainly arguable. But the premise is this: I keep Pedo in the sixth slot for my team, and, with a feint within a feint, pretend sharpedo is Zoro midgame. The opponent brings out a counter and i toxic on the switch before getting right out of there. Besides that Pedo's job is to sweep late game, and it does it pretty damn well. Recommendations are welcome, as besides this I've never used sharpedo much. Named I bite cuz well it doesn't bite even tho half it's body is teeth (strong jaws imo).

fast like a nascar (Zoroark) @ Life Orb
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
The last addition to my team, zoro has proven worthy of top-tier status in RU. His job is to pretend to be Sharpedo (same hazard damage ftw) and put a dent in the other team any way he can. Physically based mixed zoro is my fave, as it covers the widest range of threats imo. Not much more to say about zoro, he's the fastest member of my team (w/o swift swim activated) at 105, and naming him as "fast" helps with the shark disguise.

Golbat is such a shit. One of my all-time favorite pokes is a huge pain for this team. The only defogger able to mess with this team, Infiltrator is the bane of burd's existence. Must be played around carefully (lots of mind games) in order to keep hazards alive, and to get it dead.
Aromatisse is another threat to this team (sorry xy sprites are messing with my comp). Hard to kill since I have a majority of special attackers, braviary and cofag are the only ones that can handle a wish/protect/aromatherapy set so keep them alive.

Fuckle was another big threat for my team, as sticky webs are pretty damn annoying. The best way to play around them is to keep cofag around as long as possible and set up TR again and again. Additionally, Shuckle specifically is pretty good setup bait for toad, as you can earth power to break sturdy, set up a swift swim, and kill with hydro pump.

The god of RU, Drudd, is always a threat. Nothing on my team wants to take a banded outrage, so any way that is preventable is great. Basically I'd have to sacrifice a poke to hit it hard enough for the shark to kill with Ice Beam. Drudd can also come in on the toad when you want to swift swim, so if you see drudd in team preview earth power is a good option to get two decent hits in before it can kill you with outrage, setting it up for the shark.
This team has been a lot of fun to use, since offense is an easy playstyle and I have five win conditions and a suicide lead, the opponent has to keep track of a lot of possibilities. Feel free to comment on suggestions, as I haven't changed this team much yet from it's inception. Thanks for reading!
