Hi. In my opinion, the polling system on Smogon is flawed. In polls here, votes are cast by means of boldtext, useing a topic reply for each vote. This creates needless clutter and provides people with an easy means of increaseing their post count. It would be more effective to have a poll system more similar to that of Psypoke (the site on which I am a moderator, by the way). Here's a link to a poll from Psypoke as an example:

You obviously haven't looked around, since we also have those types of polls. Bold polls are that way for a reason.
