Polteageist is one of the most threatening setup sweepers in UU, capable of OHKOing a majority of the tier when at +2, only being unable to reliably OHKO a few Pokemon such as Zarude, Incineroar, Umbreon, Bisharp, and Gigalith. Its Ghost typing and decent special bulk enables it to set up fairly reliably on foes such as Heliolisk and Noivern, making it harder for a lot of the tier to punish setup and prevent a late-game clean. Stored Power takes advantage of of the boosts acquired by Shell Smash to boost its power to be able to more effectively target bulkier foes as well as Ghost-immune Pokemon such as Heliolisk and Porygon-Z. It can also OHKO Heavy-Duty Boots Chansey at +4. Giga Drain rounds out Polteageist's coverage, targeting Krookodile, Obstagoon, and specially defensive Rhyperior, which are not OHKOed by Polteageist's other movies even when boosted. Giga Drain also grants Polteageist some recovery, which can help it heal to 100% and be able to activate its Focus Sash if it has been chipped. A Focus Sash gives Polteageist guaranteed setup against almost any foe, allowing it to bypass Pokemon that would ordinarily OHKO it and use Shell Smash to clean up weakened teams lacking priority. White Herb is also an option to give Polteageist more bulk after setting up so it can take a hit while boosted, but the ability to set up against almost any foe is often too useful to give up. It also struggles to take priority attacks such as Bisharp's Sucker Punch even with its Defense stat restored.

Polteageist fits best on hyper offense teams that can keep up offensive pressure and weaken its checks to enable it to sweep. Terrakion is an especially good partner, as it is able to remove Dark-types that Polteageist struggles to deal with, such as Incineroar. Terrakion as well as Cobalion can provide entry hazard support to chip foes that would otherwise be able to deal with Polteageist. Cobalion also provides a check to priority users such as Mamoswine and Mimikyu, which threaten to revenge kill a boosted Polteageist, particularly when its Focus Sash has been used. Grimmsnarl provides dual screens support for Polteageist on the hyper offense teams it fits best on, enabling it to set up on foes that would otherwise pressure it so it can more reliably clean late-game and is less prone to revenge killing. Spikes support from teammates such as Froslass and Klefki on entry hazard stack hyper offense teams can chip some of Polteageist's checks such as Obstagoon and Gigalith into range of its attacks. Offensive partners such as Sharpedo can chip some of Polteageist's answers such as Umbreon and Zarude with Close Combat, allowing it to sweep late-game with its main answers weakened in range of its attacks.

Polteageist is one of the most threatening setup sweepers in UU, capable of OHKOing a majority of the tier such as key metagame staples like Rotom-W and Terrakion when at +2. I don't see the need to give examples here, at least not these ones. It pretty much plows through everything that isn't Incin, Zarude, Bisharp, Umbreon, and Gigalith. It being walled by these would be something worth stating in another line. You should also mention its vulnerability to priority users like Lycanroc-D and Mamoswine that limit its sweep, especially if the sash is no longer intact. Its Ghost typing and decent special bulk enables it to set up fairly reliably on foes such as Heliolisk and Noivern, making it harder for a lot of the tier to punish setup and prevent a late-game clean. Stored Power takes advantage of of the boosts acquired by Shell Smash to boost its power to be able to more effectively target bulkier foes such as Galarian Weezing The Weezing mention is kind of pointless when Shadow Ball OHKOs at +2. Even if Poltea only got a Weak Armor boost it would do as much as an unboosted Shadow Ball. as well as Ghost-immune Pokemon such as Heliolisk and Porygon-Z. I'd also mention Chansey here. After two Shell Smash's you can OHKO Boots Chansey and do around 80% min to Eviolite. Granted you still have to worry about Toxic. You should go into detail about this specific Pokemon. Giga Drain rounds out Polteageist's coverage, targeting bulky Water-types such as Rotom-W, Gastrodon, and Seismitoad. These mentions aren't worth it given Stored Power pretty much drops all three after rocks or if they are minorly weakened. I would remove this and focus on how it lets Poltea beat Krookodile and SpD Rhyperior and is it's best means of beating Obstagoon. You should also mention how it can potentially allow Polteageist to heal back up to 100% allowing it's sash to active if not already broken. A Focus Sash gives Polteageist guaranteed setup against any foe, You cannot vs Gigalith due to sand allowing it to bypass Pokemon that would ordinarily OHKO it and use Shell Smash to clean up weakened teams lacking priority. Give a mention to White Herb

Polteageist fits best on hyper offensive teams that can keep up offensive pressure and weaken its checks to enable it to sweep. Terrakion is an especially good partner, as it is able to remove Dark-types that Polteageist struggles to deal with, such as Incineroar. You should mention some Spike users like Klefki and Froslass
Expand a little more on how Cobalion can check Lycanroc-D, Mamoswine, and Mimikyu, three priority users that aim to revenge Poltea
Mention Starmie and Tsareena for hazard removal that can help keep its Sash intact
Mention Sharpedo as mixed sets remove a lot of Poltea's answers thanks to it having CC (Bisharp, Zarude, Umbreon, etc.) They can help each other sweep.

I would personally like a few more wallbreakers mentioned here. Currently, it is just Terrakion. SD Incin and Lycanroc-D for example.

Polteageist is one of the most threatening setup sweepers in UU, capable of OHKOing a majority of the tier when at +2, only being unable to reliably OHKO a few Pokemon such as Zarude, Umbreon, Bisharp, and Gigalith. incineroar is crying rn Its Ghost typing and decent special bulk enables it to set up fairly reliably on foes such as Heliolisk and Noivern, making it harder for a lot of the tier to punish setup and prevent a late-game clean. White Herb is also an option to give Polteageist more bulk after setting up so it can take a hit while boosted, but the ability to set up against almost any foe is often too useful to give up. would also add that it's usually too frail to take priority attacks anyway, the strongest ones in the tier (lycan's accelerock, bisharp's sucker punch) just punts it

Polteageist fits best on hyper offensive teams that can keep up offensive pressure and weaken its checks to enable it to sweep. Hazard removal from offensive partners such as Starmie and Tsareena ensure that Polteageist can keep its Focus Sash intact and more reliably sweep late-game. i think i'd just remove this line, you're realistically not fitting starmie or tsar on screens which is where poltea fits (meteor beam starmie tho??? :eyes:) Offensive partners such as Sharpedo can chip some of Polteageist's answers such as Umbreon and Zarude with Close Combat, allowing it to sweep late-game with its main answers weakened in range of its attacks.

I thought the part in green would add a bit of strength to the sentence Stored Power takes advantage of of the boosts acquired by Shell Smash and Weak Armor to boost its power to be able to more effectively target bulkier foes as well as Ghost-immune Pokemon such as Heliolisk and Porygon-Z. I; additionally, it can also OHKO Heavy-Duty Boots Chansey at +4. A semicolon was put in to blend these sentences together, making it sound less awkward in my head. Giga Drain rounds out Polteageist's coverage, targeting Krookodile, Obstagoon, and specially defensive Rhyperior, which are not OHKOed by Polteageist's other movies even when boosted. Lycanroc-D, Mamoswine, and Mimikyu, which threaten to revenge kill a boosted Polteageist, particularly when its Focus Sash has been used. Grimmsnarl provides dual screens support for Polteageist on the hyper offense teams it fits best on, enabling it to set up on foes that would otherwise pressure it so it can more reliably clean late-game and isbe less prone to revenge killing. You already said that it fits best on HO teams, so I removed that to avoid unnecessary fluff. Spikes support from foesteammates such as Froslass and Klefki on entry hazard stack hyper offense teams can chip some of Polteageist's checks such as Obstagoon and Gigalith into range of its attacks. Just trimming some more unnecessary fluff. And like Lilburr said, teammates is the proper word. Hazard removal from offensive partners such as Starmie and Tsareena ensure that Polteageist can keep its Focus Sash intact and more reliably sweep late-game. Offensive partners such as Sharpedo can chipdamage some of Polteageist's answers such as Umbreon and Zarude with Close Combat, allowing it to sweep late-game with its main answers weakened in range of its attacks.
