Bem-vindos à quinta edição do Portuguese Ladder Tournament (PTLT)! Neste torneio, os competidores irão criar uma nova conta no Pokémon Showdown! utilizando um prefixo pré-estabelecido e jogar na ladder de SV OU para se classificar para a fase de mata-mata. Como este é um torneio oficial da sala Português, o vencedor irá ganhar um troféu (imagem acima) no fórum da sala e três meses de Prize Winner na sala Português.
A fase de mata-mata será no formato melhor de três com eliminação dupla;
Seu ELO será usado para determinar sua posição na fase de mata-mata, portanto o jogador com o maior ELO do 1º Ciclo vai enfrentar o jogador com o menor ELO do 2º Ciclo e assim por diante. Se você se classificar no 1º Ciclo, mas quiser participar do 2º Ciclo para tentar se classificar com um ELO maior, você pode entrar em contato com um dos hosts para desistir da sua vaga e tentar novamente;
Quaisquer tentativas de roubar no torneio, como pedir para alguém dar forfeit em partidas para aumentar sua pontuação, dar forfeit em alguma partida para ajudar um amigo, fazer várias contas para jogar contra si mesmo na ladder ou jogar após ou antes do horário do ciclo na ladder resultarão na desclassificação do participante no torneio, bem como a possibilidade de haver medidas administrativas em outros torneios oficiais futuros da sala Português.
Para participar do torneio, basta fazer sua inscrição quando o tópico do ciclo for aberto (o 1º Ciclo será aberto na Segunda, 8 de julho) seguindo as instruções que serão dadas no post inicial. Quaisquer dúvidas podem ser feitas a mim (Hacchi) ou para o co-host (Necrozmancer2).
Por fim, este tópico ficará aberto para interação entre os usuários.
Welcome to the fifth edition of the Portuguese Ladder Tournament (PTLT)! In this tournament, players will create a fresh new alt on Pokémon Showdown! and play in the SV OU ladder to qualify for the playoffs. Since this tournament has the official status in the Português room, the winner will recieve a trophy (image above) on the room's forum and three months of Prize Winner in the Português room.
The playoffs will be on a best-of-three, double-elimination format;
Your ELO will be used to determine your position in the playoffs, so the player with the highest ELO in Cycle 1 will face the player with the lowest ELO in Cycle 2, and so on. If you qualify in Cycle 1 but want to take part in Cycle 2 to try to qualify with a higher ELO, you can contact one of the hosts to give up your place and try again;
Any attempts to cheat in the tournament, such as asking someone to forfeit a match to increase your score, forfeiting a match to help a friend, making multiple accounts to play against yourself on the ladder or playing after or before the cycle start on the ladder will result in the participant being disqualified from the tournament, as well as the possibility of administrative measures in other future official tournaments in the Portuguese room.
To participate in the tournament, simply register when the cycle thread is made (Cycle 1 will start on Monday, July 8th) following the instructions that will be given in the initial post. Any other questions can be sent to me (Hacchi) or to (Necrozmancer2).
