[SET COMMENTS]

Porygon2 is one of the tier's better defensive pivots thanks to its great support movepool, Eviolite-boosted bulk, and amazing ability. Teleport allows Porygon2 to reliably get in powerful wallbreakers while sparing them from taking direct damage. Ice Beam is generally the preferred attacking move because it OHKOes Zygarde-10%, 2HKOes Thundurus, and does a minimum of 40% to incoming Zarude. Tri Attack is a decent alternative that does more to the likes of Xurkitree, Raikou, and Toxtricity. Toxic cripples the likes of Milotic, Zarude, and Raikou, mitigating their long-term impact against Porygon2's teammates. Foul Play is an attacking option to hit Metagross and deal significantly more damage to Darmanitan and Alolan Marowak. Trick Room can be used over Toxic; Porygon2 is a great setter thanks to Teleport allowing it to bring in a Trick Room sweeper safely. A specially defensive spread allows Eviolite Porygon2 to blanket check many dangerous special attackers, such as Xurkitree, Toxtricity, and Roserade. Some Defense investment can be used to make Porygon2 a better pivot into the likes of Zygarde-10% and Zarude should its team need it. Trace allows Porygon2 to copy great abilities, like Regenerator from Galarian Slowbro and Reuniclus, Punk Rock from Toxtricity, and Prankster from Thundurus.

Porygon2 pairs very well with most offensive Pokemon, as it's able to absorb damage and switch them in safely with Teleport. Toxtricity, Darmanitan, Zygarde-10%, and Heracross are powerful wallbreakers that enjoy having Porygon2 to fall back on when they're forced out by certain special attackers, such as Noivern. A pivoting core can also be powerful, especially with the likes of Mienshao, Incineroar, and Raikou, as it can keep Porygon2 in favorable situations. Incineroar deserves special mention because Intimidate helps it to stomach physical attacks for Porygon2, though it doesn't appreciate Knock Off removing its Heavy-Duty Boots. Togekiss and Galarian Weezing are great checks to Fighting-types while Porygon2 can easily handle most Toxtricity variants and other Electric types. Togekiss can even provide Defog and Heal Bell support, while Galarian Weezing can handle most Knock Off users.. Powerful physical attackers such as Heracross, Darmanitan, Alolan Marowak, and Swords Dance Cobalion can take advantage of Porygon2's inability to generally threaten them. The aforementioned Togekiss and Galarian Weezing fare well against Heracross, while Suicune and Milotic can take on Darmanitan and Alolan Marowak. Healthy Noivern can switch directly into Cobalion and any Noivern can outspeed Heracross and Alolan-Marowak should Porygon2 predict their switch in with Teleport. If used as a Trick Room setter, Porygon2 works well with Reuniclus, Alolan Marowak, and Stakataka. Cresselia and Diancie are other Trick Room setters that can set up on some Pokemon that Porygon2 isn't able to.

Porygon2 is one of the tier's better a good (you oversell p2 a bit, it's a B rank mon after all )defensive pivots thanks to a great support movepool, Eviolite-boosted bulk, and an amazing ability that often times allows it to even benefit from its opponent's own powerful ability. Teleport is a superb negative priority switch move that allows Porygon2 to reliably get in dangerous offensive teammates while sparing them from taking damage upon switching in. As Porygon2 is reliant on Eviolite for its bulk, Recover is absolutely mandatory as it has no way to offset residual damage from entry hazards or burns.(I would like to see you mention how P2 often hog momentum when it's forced to recover instead of pivoting out with teleport.) Ice Beam is generally the preferred attacking move as it OHKOes Zygarde-10%, 2HKOes Thundurus, and does a minimum of 40% to incoming Zarude. Tri Attack is a decent alternative as it does more to the likes of Xurkitree, Raikou, and Toxtricity. Toxic rounds out the set by giving Porygon2 a method of crippling the likes of Milotic, Zarude (Jungle Heal, if you find any good alternatives you can replace it otherwise just milo and raikou is fine) ,and Raikou to mitigate their long term impact against Porygon2's teammates. Foul Play is an attacking option to hit Doublade as well as deal significantly more damage to Darmanitan and Alolan Marowak Marowak-Alola. Trick Room can be used over Toxic as Porygon2 is a great support setter thanks to Teleport allowing it to bring in a Trick Room sweeper safely. A specially defensive spread allows Porygon2 to blanket check many dangerous special attackers and Eviolite is the mandatory hold item to boost Porygon2's bulk to the required levels to check dangerous threats. A physically defensive spread may seem appealing, but Porygon2 generally has more favorable matchups against special attackers due to the tendency of many physical attackers to carry Knock Off or Fighting-type moves.(If it doesn't have a strong niche over sp.def don't mention just to trash it) Trace is an amazing ability as it allows Porygon2 to use its opponent's ability for its own benefit. Examples include Regenerator from Slowbro-Galar and Reuniclus, Punk Rock from Toxtricity, and Prankster from Thundurus.

Porygon2 pairs very well with most offensive Pokemon as it's able to absorb damage and switch them in safely with Teleport. Toxtricity, Darmanitan, Zygarde-10%, and Heracross are powerful offensive threats that enjoy being postitioned in positive matchups while having Porygon2 to fall back on when they're outsped by special attackers. A pivoting core can also be powerful, especially with the likes of Mienshao, Incineroar, and Raikou, as it can keep Porygon2 in favorable situations. Incineroar deserves special mention as Intimidate helps it to stomach physical attacks for Porygon2. Togekiss and Galarian Weezing Weezing-Galar are great checks to Fighting types that can also switch into most Knock Off users for Porygon2 while Porygon2 can easily handle most Toxtricity variants while also checking other Electric types looking to take advantage of them. Togekiss can even provide Defog and Heal Bell support for Porygon2. Powerful physical attackers such as Heracross, Darmanitan, Alolan Marowak Marowak-Alola, and Swords Dance Cobalion can take advantage of Porygon2's inability to generally threaten them and simply push past it with brute force or super effective STAB moves. The aforementioned Togekiss and Galarian Weezing Weezing-Galar fare well against Heracross while Suicune and Milotic can take on Darmanitan and Alolan Marowak Marowak-Alola. Noivern can switch directly into Cobalion should it still be healthy and it also can outspeed Heracross and Alolan Marowak Marowak-Alola should Porygon2 predict their switch-in with Teleport. If used as a Trick Room setter, Porygon2 works well with Reuniclus, Alolan Marowak Marowak-Alola, and Stakataka. Cresselia and Diancie are other Trick Room setters that can set up on some Pokemon that Porygon2 isn't able to.

Incineroar deserves special mention as Intimidate helps it to stomach physical attacks for Porygon2 (incineroar also doesn't like knock off/fighting moves).
