I’m in Montreal and I’ve been needing to have this delicacy the Canadians have to offer, what do you think of this dish?

on the level though, i hate the classic poutine - where the chips are sort of soggy and the gravy a little sweet - it's supposed to be a heavy claggy mess

but when i was in canada they had all these fancy poutines which were gr8. the chips were crispy, or in some cases smashed potatoes. i had this greek-style one which was smashed potatoes, feta cheese, onions, wine gravy and kebab meat. it was the bomb. was it truly poutine? who gives a fuck
