Power House Team

Power House Team
This is my first RMT. This is a power house (Hyper Offensive) team. This team is made to have a lot coverage, power, and minimum switching. I am now posting to get some advice and thoughts on my team, now let's get started.

Team Details:

The D (Deoxys-Defense) @ Mental Herb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 198 HP / 58 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Superpower

First up we have Deo-D his main goal is to get hazards up, try to prevent the other team from getting them up, and keep the momentum away from the team by taunting anyone who would want to try easy set up on him. They EV spread is to be somewhat speedy and be able to OHKO a bisharp (Thanks The Goomy ), 0 Atk IVs to minimize foul play. I also choice mental herb to take care of pesky Prankster taunts. He very much so sets the momentum for the team.

Axem Red (Bisharp) @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

Pretty much standard SD Bisharp set, EV's to give speed and power. He's a great revenge killer, and when given the chance can be very deadly with just one SD, I have swept teams with just him. Can also put a lot of pressure on the other team and can make or break a game. I mean what's a Deo with a Sharp :x

MANdorus (Landorus) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Wave

Good ole' MANdorus (I mean look at that stache) is one monster of a special attacker, I gave him this EV spread so he can hit hard and fast. His move-sets has really great coverage (IMO). The focus blast catches a lot of people off guard, along with sludge wave. Countless times he has been my go to guy to get a revenge kill and try to dent their walls.

#smashbroshype (Charizard) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Roost

Charizard X the mega of my team. EVs spread so he can hit hard and fast. He is one of my faster psychical attackers. Move-set is pretty standard: DD to hit even harder and faster, roost so he can last longer and recover from Flare Blitzing, and dragon claw to hit those dragons hard. This guy is just a monster.

Golden Shower (Azumarill) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Atk / 32 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower Knock-Off

To help counter/check other Char X's and other dragon types, I decided on Azumarill with choice band. Even though you can only do one move you can still hit hard. I will put some calcs/replays when I can. As you can tell most of the mons can severely break/dent walls. Azumarill and Bisharp have been so hopefully for me.

SPOOKY (Gengar) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt

Gengar he is quick and can shout down Flying/Water/Grass. I choice Destiny Bond when I see a threat I know I can outspeed and is better off sacing him, or if it's a ghost type I know I can hit first but can't kill with one shadow ball. Depending on their mons will depend how I use him. Sometimes I sac him more than I want to, so I were to change anyone he would probably be my first one to replace.

Conclusion/Replays/Importable:

Again this is my first RMT, hope I did well, and I hope to get some feedback/suggestions on my team. Also, here is an importable/pastebin of the team for all the lazy's p;

I prefer Knock Off on Azumarill instead of Superpower, but it's just preference. Knock Off is useful for its disruptive nature, as well as removing Chansey's Eviolite, + the nifty dark coverage. Superpower really only helps against Ferrothorn, but since you have Charizard and Landorus, you aren't excessively Ferrothorn weak.

Everything else seems solid from afar, but I'll test this out when I have time :)

I would have to try Knock-Off over Superpower, could help out with psychic/ghosts just the Azumarill set did so well I haven't really touched, thank you for the feedback and hope you enjoy testing the team(:

Just wondering why you have 40atk on Deo-D. 28 atk and 56 atk are the standard investements depending on what you want to target:

  • 28 Atk Deoxys-D Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Bisharp: 272-320 (100.3 - 118%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 56 Atk Deoxys-D Superpower vs. 32 HP / 0 Def Bisharp: 280-332 (100.3 - 118.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

originally I had it just 252 hp / 252 spe / 4 atk to just get the hazards up and if bisharp came in jsut taunt to prevent SD then goomy suggested that spread and it's worked for me so I stuck with it

if u want superpower to hit hard at all you need 31 attack ev's, running superpower jolly and 0 attack ev's is extremely redeundant. Also, if you want lando to dent walls such as chansey, I advise knock off over sludge wave, as it cripples chansey and allows focust blast to 2ohko

for now i'm dropping superpower on Azumarill for Knock off / and for the first part which mon were you referring to?

Overall great team, especially since it's rocking Deo-Sharp. I do recommend you try U-Turn on landorus-i, it is just easy momentum with pretty nice power. I recommend you try this EV spread on Charizard:
charizard-megax.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 248 HP / 136 Atk / 124 Spd OR 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Roost

4 252 252 on a semi bulky charizard X just isnt worth it. Depending if you want a bit more offensive or a bit more bulky, these EV spreads will probably work better.

I would put uturn on put sheer force adds so much power . and I have try that bulk spread cause one DD can make up for speed. Thank you kindly for your input.

Looks like a fun team to play, but I do have some slight suggestions.
I would change sludge wave on Lando to Knock Off. Itll help you beat Chansey, and every other eviolite user. along with allowing you to break down fat alls you cant normally.
And from my knowledge you only need 40Attk ev's on Deoxy D to ohko bisharp with 32 ev's.
Again personal preference but I do like the bulkier zard a little more. if you do decide to try it here are some ev's i recc.
248 hp. 120 speed, 140 attk. after a DD you outspeed everything baring some scarfed users obviously.
Also, maybe you coudl try roost on it leaving dD, roost, d claw, flare blitz.
as far as gengar goes, I like it but i might try a sub set to help you beat stall a bit easier along with beating bisharp and deoxy combo :]
Sub, will, taunt, shadowball/sludge wave. 28 hp 252 timid speed, 148 speA and rest in special D. allows you to sub on venusaur and take two gig drains.

That's all I can really see of of the top of my head right now. But good job for your first time sir :] keep it up

- cheers

Thanks for your suggestion I will deff have to give those a guy and try them out. I've seen/used all your teams and i just love them.

Also you are right 40 ATK can OHKO
40 Atk Deoxys-D Superpower vs. 32 HP / 0 Def Bisharp: 272-324 (97.4 - 116.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

It's a good feeling seeing a great (imo) team builder compliment my team. :D

I really like your team, here's just a small suggestion for Azumarill.

Have you considered the Assault Vest? Same Spread as you have now but with it you have increased bulk and the ability to switch moves. I believe Azumarill still hits 400+ Atk without Band so it's still strong. It also doesn't give free turns to pokes that would be able to abuse you being locked into a move.

Just a suggestion to try out, I love both Azumarill sets.

I'll have to give that a try o:

But choice band Play Rough packs a punch even on resists and is usually my go to move so i'll have to try Assault Vest out o:
