We have a matchup here of Anti-leads. Starmie and lucario. At this point, i know they dont usually carrie crunch, so i take the chance and hydro pump, hoping he doesnt use a dark type move.

Ok, good. he uses dragon pulse, and im faster. Bullet punch or extremespeed wont KO because it obviously has some sp. atk evs., and starmie is somewhat bulky. I go with a safe 100% accuracy move, to get the kill if he stays, and if he goes to a bulky water, i will get a good hit.

Turns out that floatzel is faster. I assumed a scarf. I bring in my dark resist, a tyranitar, to possibly get a free sub and scare away floatzel.

Ok, it ISNT scarfed. I looked up its speed and i realized its really fast. great speed with rain and STAB waterfall isnt pretty, so i go with my strongest attack here.

It doesnt kill. Im like Oh Shit, that things a beast! But not beastly enough to take on my gyarados! I'll get an intimidate on it and resist to its waterfall + rain boost for my own waterfall.

Wow gyara took that well. Now floatzel is low enough on health where my waterfall will KO, and i can take whatever hit he decides to throw at me. Waterfall is a safe move in case he decides to switch.

Gyarados took that crunch very well, and did a good job of giving me the lead in the battle. I got a defense drop though, so im vulnerable to a physical attacker now.

Electivire. It obviously has an electric attack, so i decide he's going to use an electric attack and Ill get a free jolteon in.

Specs Jolteon has to be one of the best pokemon. Right now im deciding that i will scout to see if it has EQ or not, if its banded, if its scarfed, etc. and i will go to my gyarados to dodge EQ as well as get an intimidate. Im gonna use Baton Pass because if it does decide to switch, ill get the better switch in.

Missclick here. And this looks horrible for me. I have 1 unseen poke and he has +2 speed and attack, and could either baton pass or just win the match there. Ill use stone edge here since its the only attack that hits him.
