Overview:
Ever since gen 3 came out, Absol had been one of my favourite pokemon, and with a 130 base attack, it was on my favourite list. But since it got such low overall stats, I rarely use it. However, I once again came across absol again and I thought of giving it a move set, and I think that this would probably be an ok set for Absol
The key thing for this set is prediction. In my opinion, Absol had four perfect moves that could easily screw your opponent up. If your opponent tries to status you, or use leech seed and stuff use magic coat. If they attack, use Sucker punch and if they try to switch use Pursuit, if they want to set up, you can stop them with snatch. Although this sound pretty nice, there are three big flaws in this set
1) Lack of type coverage
Even though Absol gets stab on these moves, he can only use Dark moves and they are resisted by steel fighting and obviously dark so that means the pokemon in OU that would resist this are
Breloom, Empoleon, Fortress, Heatran, Infernape Lucario, Machamp, Magnezone, Scizor, Skarmory, Tyranitar, Weavile, and Umbreon
However, using magic coat you can stop skarmary from using spikes, and Foretress frm using spikes or T spikes, Umbreon can be checked, but u might get poisoned from synchronize and breloom could get spored back
2)Lack of power
Although base 130 is awesome and with the item boost, it just isn't strong enough to get important KOs this COULD be remedy with swords dance but you would have to take a move out.
3)Too unreliable
On paper, this might be good, but this biggest problem is that prediction is the biggest factor for this. One misprediaction could cause you the game. You can effectly stop you foe from doing almost anything, but you need to know what they are going to do, This is probably the biggest flaw, but if you are awesome at prediction than you can cause a lot of damage with this absol

This Absol is also going to need a lot of team support in order to take down its checks.Breloom, Empoleon, Fortress, Heatran, Infernape Lucario, Machamp, Magnezone, Scizor, Skarmory, Tyranitar, Weavile, and Umbreon can pretty much resist and destroy you. And blissey too. Life orb sucker punch can only do 55.9 % at max and thats only if she chooses to continuely attack you pursuit would only do 27.9 % at max so blissey and starmory are the biggest problem, easily stopping absol. Infernape can remedy this since it can easily take down everyone listed above over than Machamp, but if Machamp is used as a lead, Azelf can finish it off, or guts activated swellow(which is my favourite pokemon cause it actully helped me a lot)
