So I've played on PS! For the first quarter of 2013, unfortunately due to technical difficultlies, I haven't played on Showdown since Summer Break, causing my team-building skills to get Rusty. Here's what I put together, hope I didn't screw up too bad:
Blaziken @ Blazikenite
Adamant Nature, 252 Attack EVs, 252 Speed EV's, 4 HP
Protect
Swords Dance
Flare Blitz
High Jump Kick
Comments: Blaziken's always been one of my favorite Pokemon, and when I learned he got a Mega form with great Stats, I had to include him. Blaziken's role on this team is to be a Late-Game cleaner, picking off weakened Pokemon with High Jump Kick and Flare Blitz, with Protect ensuring I get one Speed Boost off.
Rotom W @ Leftovers
Modest Nature, 232 HP EVs, 200 Def, 76 Speed
Volt Switch
Hydro Pump
Will-o-Wisp
Shadow Ball
Comments: My designated Talonflame Check as it can tear through my team pretty easily without it especially Blaziken, hence the heavy Defense investment, other then that it's your run of the mill Rotom Moveset, only without Pain Split since this is a pre Pokebank team, and Shadow Ball was the best thing I could find to put in that last slot.
Noivern @ Flame Orb
Frisk, Timid, 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Atk, 4 HP
Switcheroo
Draco Meteor
Hurricane
U-Turn
Comments: Noivern is by far my favorite Gen 6 Pokemon, so this is the only Pokemon I absolutely refuse to drop. Noivern has some interesting Sets it can use, This one in particular is a Support set, designed to give the opponent an item they dont want like a Flame Orb, while Frisk ensures Noivern won't be saddled by an item I dont want, Heaven forbid Choice Band Noivern, and with Noivern's incredible speed it should be able to outspeed anything that's not Scarfed/Boosted. Draco is there to do as much damage as possible, Hurricane is there for coverage while U-Turn is there to get some Damage in should Noivern need to GTFO of a dicey situation.
Doublade @ Eviolite
Careful 252 Attack EVs, 252 Sp. Defense, 4 Def
Sacred Sword
Shadow Sneak
Iron Head
Swords Dance
Comments: While Aegislash is off doing his Stance Dance shenanigans, I got Doublade here, who becomes incredibly Bulky via the Eviolite and proper EV investment, alongside the Careful nature, the thing that made want to use Doublade over Aegislash is that Aegislash suffers a bit from 4MSS. Aegislash usually runs King's Shield, SD Sacred Sword and Shadow Sneak for Physical Aegislash, but based on me using him, he always wishs that he had a extra slot to fit Iron Head or another move in. Doublade gets Straight to the point and has the ability to run 3 attacking moves alongside Swords Dance should Doublade need to buff his attack more, with Iron Head hitting those Pesky Fairies.
Alakazam @ Life Orb
Magic Guard, 252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, Timid
Psychic
Focus Blast
Energy Ball
Substitute
Comments: Standard Alakazam set. Slap a Life Orb with Magic Guard and watch things die, this Team's resident Special Nuke. Again had to improvise on the set a bit as Pre Pokebank and lack of tutors.
Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Jolly, Thick Fat, 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Def
Ice Shard
Icicle Crash
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Comments: The usual lead of the team, Focus Sash is there to ensure I can get one move off, two in Ice Shard's case, whether its SR or Earthquake, it's the anti-Dragon of the team, since none of the Fairies managed to find their way into my team.
So there it is, the team I built. I'm open to suggestion, such as what I should scrap or change, so long as it's available before the Pokebank in XY, I have enough time to breed more Pokemon with Egg moved IVs and the likes, so any suggestions to what I should change or scrap? Any feedback would be much appreciated, cheers!
