Probably The Most OU Drizzle Team Ever

Politoed (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 255 Health, 255 Special Defense
Bold (+Defense, -Attack)
-Scald
-Protect
-Toxic
-Refresh
The standard Drizzle Politoed. I KNOW Drizzle + Swift Swim is banned, but I don't play online much so I don't think it matters. I'm posting this team in order for it to be rated and for you guys to help me make it as best as it can be. Not for it to be scolded for it's rule breakings. Anyways, yeah. Max health for livability and max Special Defense for tanking. I put a Bold nature to help absorb some physical hits and Scald to hope for a burn.

Kingdra (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Attack, 112 Special Attack, 144 Speed
Lonely (+Attack, -Defense)
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Outrage
-Draco Meteor
Standard DD Kingdra. I have a feeling I'll be able to get a couple KO's off of him, seeing as how Kingdra is AMAZING in the rain. I put a lot of Special Defense EVs in so Draco Meteor hits as hard as possible without sacrificing Speed or Attack. Umm. Yeah. Kingdra's cool.

Kabutops (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 40 Health, 252 Attack, 216 Speed
Adamant (+Attack, -Special Attack)
-Swords Dance
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge
-Low Kick
I'm honestly kinda unsure about this Poke. While Kabutops is a decent sweeper, he's frail. I don't like that. I'm sure if I could force a switch (I'm sure I could, maybe?) I dunno. He doesn't really support the team much because he doesn't resist anything much important, and I kinda have the feeling that I'd have to bring him in as a revenge kill instead of a switch. Meeeehh. If you guys think he's okay, I'll try it. But maybe someone can suggest another Poke?

Latios (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 255 Special Attack, 255 Speed
Timid (+Speed, -Attack)
-Thunder
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Hidden Power Fighting
Here is my favorite Poke on this team. This thing hits like a train. Thunder for the accuracy, Dragon Pulse over Draco Meteor so I can sweep, and Surf for the boost in the rain. And, finally, Hidden Power Fighting to take care of Steel types thinking they can wall me. I really like this Poke. c:

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Health, 88 Defense, 168 Special Defense
Relaxed (+Defense, -Speed)
-Spikes
-Stealth Rock
-Leech Seed
-Gyro Ball/Power Whip
I really wanted to try and stay away from using Ferrothorn because essentially everyone uses it... but he's just so useful. Spikes and Stealth Rock for utility, Leech Seed so I can get some more recovery, and I can't decide if I want Gyro Ball or Power Whip as my attacking move. I imagine this Pokemon will be helping me out a lot simply because it resists EVERYTHING. Hahaha. It's crazy.

Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 255 Health, 103 Defense, 152 Special Defense
Calm (+Special Defense, -Attack)
-Rest
-Calm Mind
-Acid Armor
-???
This is a Vaporeon set I made by myself. The goal of this set is to basically try and make Vaporeon the best wall possible. Come in on a Poke I can wall, and then begin either setting up either Calm Minds or Acid Armors. If my health gets low, I can heal up with Rest and Hydration will wake me up immediately so long as rain is up. Eventually, I should be able to get +6 in Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense and then I hope to sweep with my one attacking move. My only problem, is what move? I thought of Surf, or maybe Ice Beam, or maybe Hidden Power Dragon(or some other type)? I'm not sure, but I made this set by myself so I don't know how good it is. :P

Umm, yeah. That's my Drizzle team. I know it breaks the rule of no Drizzle and Swift Swim, but other than that I think it's okay. (bar my lack of faith in my Kabutops.) Rate? Suggestions? It'd be much appreciated! <3

I would give ferro power whip over gyro ball. Powerwhip is going to destroy water pokemon that might give you trouble (rotom w).

For Vaporeon, I would keep CM but get rid of Acid Armor. I don't think you need two boosting moves when you could give him something like Surf. If you give him a HP move, I would give him HP Fire (for those Ferrothorn switch ins) even though you lose power in the rain...idk just something to think about.

OP, why have you come smogon, a place where, as you said, you know Drizzle+Swift Swim on the same team is banned?

Therefore experienced people here will NOT rate, simply because we cannot. We do not play using drizzle + swift swim, so none of us can give you proper rates. I suggest you either; a. change your team to one that complies with the Smogon banlist, b. Go to a place where it is not banned so people can give you proper help and advice.

I hope you understood that, Au Revoir.

It's not like I'm asking you to battle me. Yes, your rules ban you from using this, but regardless of your rules, you still know how to play Pokemon and I'm sure you still know about Drizzle + SwiftSwim. Don't battle me. I honestly couldn't care less. All I ask is of you to rate my team as it is. I'm not going to change my team to fit your rules when I'm not going to play them. If you're too stuck within YOUR rules to even acknowledge someone else's, then simply DON'T RATE MY TEAM. It wouldn't kill you to rate something, despite the fact that you don't play it.

Also, I just had the idea of a Shell Smash Caracosta? Using a Life Orb and a Jolly nature with a set of Shell Smash/Waterfall/Stone Edge/Earthquake?

Do you use Refresh that much on Politoed? cuz Hidden Power Grass or Ice beam might be more helpful for coverage. You could even use Hypnosis if you don't mind the awful accuracy.

And by the way Bartman101 is right. We never experience Swift Swim + Drizzle teams so we don't really know what it is like to battle against one or use one ourselves. Because of this it is hard for us to truely rate your team.

But it's okay, because I like your Sun Team. :D

Thanks. ^_^

Anyway, Ice beam is a good choice. You could also use Scald as a STAB and get a nifty burn too. Or Surf for greater power. Or You could try Toxic.

I also think two boosting moves is unnessary. On that note, you could try Baton Pass to pass your boosts to another pokemon.

Hi

As Bartman said, team raters try to avoid rating teams when it's using a banned combination. Nevertheless I'll give my two cents ;)

It is pretty strange to run a defense boosting nature on Politoed without investing in it otherwise. Move those special defensive EV's to defense to fix this.

Unfortunately Vaporeon doesn't learn Calm Mind, but it can run a effective "stall-set" with the moves Scald / Toxic / Rest / Roar and an EV spread of 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 SDef with a Bold nature. This will make Vaporeon a tough poke to take out while it can just Toxic/ Burn stall all day long with Rest. And Roar is useful for abusing those entry hazards laid down by your Ferrothorn.

Most Steel types in OU are neutral to Fighting and in the Rain a boosted Surf will do more damage to most of them anyway. So on Latios you can replace HP Fighting by Roost as it helps Latios to survive longer. Another thing you can do here is use Psyshock over Thunder. This will really help you against the likes of Calm Mind Virizion. Water types are hit nearly equally hard by one the STAB moves anyway.

That's all I got, good luck!

Wow. I could have SWORN Vaporeon learned Calm Mind. That kind of ruins my idea. D: I might just go with that stall set, thank you.

And I like your idea on the Latios. I'll think I'll use that from now on.

And thank you very much for at least giving it a shot. I know that because I don't play by your rules, you can't give me the best evaluation, but thank you for at least trying and having a good attitude about it. c:

Just some tiny suggestions

Recover over Roost on Latios so that it won't be it by ground type moves for that turn. It's a tiny improvement, but better to have it than to not have it.

Also have 252 Ev spreads instead of 255, so that you can save 4 EVs for another stat. Like I already said, it's a tiny improvement, but better to have it than to not.

Roost doesn't affect levitate.

Anyways, onto the team, drizzle+swift swim is banned, yes, but I know what it's like, so I'll help improve it.

First of all, it'd be nice if you would playtest this team, as it sounds as if you just threw a team together to be rated. Now onto the actual rate.

Politoed wants a calm nature instead, allowing it to tank weak special attacks such as standard Rotom-W's volt switch. Perish Song is a better choice than Refresh, as Baton pass is on the rise. Kingdra would prefer a life orb. It needs all the power it can get, especially since it only has 95 base attack and special attack. Kabutops looks good, I'd just max out the speed but keep the adamant nature. Latios wants psyshock over Hidden Power[ Fighting] which helps alleviate your Virizion problems. I'd also recommend Virizion itself over Ferrothorn. You suffer from a Ferrothorn weakness, and Virizion can patch this problem. I recommend the Calm Mind set, which also lets you take on boosted water attacks in the rain. Vaporeon's EV spread is messed up, use Delko's suggestions for it.

GL!
