Problems with challenges

So, I have Shoddy. It downloads fine, runs fine, I can talk on the chat and watch other fights... but I have huge problems with challenges.

If someone challenges me, and I hit Accept- without exception, nothing happens. The window vanishes, but no new battle window appears.

However, if I challenge someone else, and THEY accept, it works. ...sometimes. With some individuals, they experiance the same problem, that they hit Accept to my challenge but there is no result.

Any insight onto what the deal is here and what I can do to rectify it would be appreciated.
 
Ah, that happened to me once. In the middle of a tournament, my opponent tried to challenge me but when I hit accept nothing happened...
 
this happened to me when i first downloaded shoddy, i couldn't use the ladder either, try reinstalling it, it worked for me
 
I tried reinstalling, but no dice. ;/ Still never works when someone challenges me, and only occasionally works when I challenge someone else. I don't have a weird computer or anything, it's just plain old Vista... @_@
