ORAS OU Professor Rachi, The Check Expert

Hi guys iconic here with an RMT! I was getting bored with all of my old OU teams so I got around to building a team. I knew that I wanted to use Zard X because its just a giant pain in the ass to check in this meta, plus it's one of my favorite megas. Overall this team performs pretty well reaching about 1500 on the ladder, but I would like your help to make it even better! Anyways here's the team.

Here's the monster the team is built around. With an amazing ability and typing it is able to wreck havoc on basically everything in the meta. With very few true counters, and also the fact that the moveset is unknown to the opponent it is just a nightmare for balance teams. I chose dual stab for the max power, and I'm just not a fan of the EQ set. This is the teams sweeper and is very good as it will end battles with only half a chance to set up a DD.

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 74 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Roost
- Dragon Dance

Jirachi:

Okay so I know this set is VERY unconventional, or at least hasn't been seen in a while, but bear with me. I found this thing on one of the interesting set threads. it opened my eyes to the fact that jirachii is a perfect candidate for a mixed attacker that can take out numerous checks by itself due to good movepool, bulk and stats. I chose E Belt because it is basically a LO because this thing is a dedicated lure that is designed to remove certain mons such as lando, heatran, fairys, and waters that give charizard a hard time, plus it can fake a scarf because it is running quite a bit of speed, overall an amazing set.

Jirachi @ Expert Belt
Ability: Serene Grace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 200 Atk / 172 SpA / 136 Spe
Mild Nature
- Iron Head
- Icy Wind
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Thunderbolt

Clefable:

My team needed a reliable switch in to a plethora of pokemon and jirachi isn't that strong of a switch due to it being offensive so I added one of the best mixed walls in the game. I love this mon due to it's versatility. On this team i decided to use it at as a status absorber and rocker since my team didn't have room for it otherwise, and I actually like the rocks clefable set. T-wave is to cripple fast mons that are otherwise annoying to this team as I don't have a scarf user.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled

Tornadus-T:

Here enters my favorite mon of the format. AV Torn-T is amazing due to it's ability to pivot and spam powerful moves like knock off and hurricane and then proceed to u turn and get it's health back along with a pretty exclusive speed tier. It's role on this team is to check most special attacks and force a switch so it can gain momentum, notably because when char x get's a free turn it's often game over. Pretty standard moveset, focusblast help with ferrothorn mostly, but is also pretty good for ttar and such. This think comes in so many times it's ridiculous, so it does a great job of limiting recovery and widdling down char-x counters.

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 132 HP / 160 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Focus Blast
- Hurricane

Latios:

I realized that my team was in dire need of a defogger if it was going to be any sort of successfull and latios seemed like a solid choice due to it's typing and ability to break down physical walls with super strong dracos. roost over an extra attack because this my only real keldeo/zard y switch in so it needs to stay healthy in order to check them all match long. Overall very standard set for a very solid pokemon.

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost

Rotom-W

This is the glue that holds my team as it provides a very solid defensive pivot and checks birdspam, scarf lando, sand offense azumarril and other things that annoy my team to no end. Will o wisp is very good because it can cripple physical attackers which lets latios, torn, and charizard switch in with ease to most attacks. Rotom-W is just an amazing pokemon that is very hard to break and fits very well on to balance teams such as this one.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

That's all, all comments are appreciated!
