[SET COMMENTS]
Protean Mega Latios uses its ludicrously high Soul Dew-boosted Special Attack and four coverage moves to dismantle opposing Wonder Guard cores, along with slower non-Wonder Guard Pokemon. Flash Cannon targets and OHKOes both Xerneas and physically defensive Mega Audino, as well as making Mega Latios resistant to all -ate Speed attacks via Protean, making it more difficult to revenge kill. Grass Knot targets Primal Kyogre and Mega Swampert while OHKOing Primal Groudon, but it doesn't always OHKO specially defensive variants of Primal Kyogre. An alternative is Freeze-Dry, as it also hits Giratina and Gyarados for super effective damage at the cost of only 2HKOing Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. It also hits the rare Ice-weak Wonder Guards like Zapdos and Landourus, but usually this doesn't matter due to how infrequently they are used. Secret Sword OHKOs Wonder Guard Blissey and Chansey, but only 2HKOes physically defensive Arceus and Slaking. Aura Sphere can be used to OHKO Arceus and Slaking, but it doesn't break through Chansey on only 2HKOes Blissey. Searing Shot threatens Mega Scizor as well as the occasional Registeel and Mega Steelix, and Earth Power threatens all Primal Groudon variants as well as Wonder Guard Mega Manectric, Skuntank, and Drapion. Moonblast OHKOes both Mega Sableye and Giratina. Bug Buzz OHKOes Mega Mewtwo Y, most Cresselia, and Deoxys-S, stopping them from safely passing a Substitute to a teammate using Baton Pass. Lastly, Gastro Acid can negate the opposing Pokemon's Wonder Guard but is often a momentum drain.

Mega Latios fits best on bulky offense and balance teams, where Choice item Mold Breaker userss like Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon, and Mega Mewtwo Y help Mega Latios against opposing Wonder Guard cores it can't break through on its own, threatening them for huge damage. Furthermore, Mega Latios can consistently force opposing Wonder Guard users in, gaining momentum for these wallbreakers. Additionally, Huge Power and Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X pair well with Mega Latios as their coverage can break through opposing Wonder Guard users that Mega Latios can't. Mega Gyarados heavily threatens Prankster Giratina and Ho-Oh, Pokemon that can switch in on Mega Latios. Aromatherapy is also appreciated, as paralysis often hampers Mega Latios's offensive presence, and it dislikes taking chip damage from burn and poison. Mega Latios performs particularly well with a slow Substitute + Baton Pass teammate like Wonder Guard Xerneas, Skuntank, Mega Swampert, or Mega Sableye, as it will safely threaten opposing teams while being more difficult to revenge kill.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Mega Latios can opt to run an EV spread of 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe in order to survive more hits from special Shadow Tag users, like Mega Mewtwo Y, while still outspeeding Adamant Primal Groudon. However, Mega Latios then does not outspeed Jolly Primal Groudon and is more easily threatened by Mold Breaker Mega Diancie and opposing Mega Latios. Timid could be run to outspeed opposing Mega Latios and Mega Diancie at the cost of worse KO rolls on Primal Kyogre, Cressellia, and Giratina with super effective attacks. Flash Cannon could be forgone for another coverage move, but this would only be viable with a Shadow Tag Pokemon that can hit Xerneas due to Leftovers's ubiquity on it. Thunderbolt hits Ho-Oh well while still hitting Primal Kyogre and Mega Gyarados, but it could let Primal Groudon come in for free. Dark Pulse hits Dusclops while hitting Giratina and Cresselia. Sludge Bomb could be used over Flash Cannon for its poison chance, but it leaves Mega Latios easily revenge killed by -ate Speed users.

Checks and Counters
=============

**Shadow Tag**: Due to Mega Latios getting outsped by many common Shadow Tag Pokemon and being unable to fit Shed Shell, it can be easily trapped and taken out by common Shadow Tag users like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Rayquaza after Stealth Rock, and Silk Scarf Regigigas or Slaking.

**Magic Guard Ho-Oh**: While rare, Magic Guard Ho-Oh can wall most Protean Mega Latios with its good typing and phenomenal special bulk, annoying it with status spreading in Psycho Shift. However, Ho-Oh is usually easily threatened by a physical Mold Breaker, Huge Power Pursuit user, or physical Shadow Tag user.

**Mega Gyarados with Sucker Punch**: Sucker Punch variants of Mega Gyarados can catch Mega Latios in coinflip scenarios, threatening to either OHKO it with Sucker Punch or Pursuit.

**Fast Mold Breaker Users**: Mold Breaker users like Mega Gengar, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Arceus can outspeed Mega Latios and either put it to sleep or OHKO it while still threatening damage on the rest of its team.

**-Ate Speed users**: -Ate Speed users like Refrigerate Abomasnow and Kyurem-B, Pixilate Mega Diancie, and Aerilate Mega Rayquaza can force out Mega Latios with their powerful Extreme Speeds, and they even carry a super effective Pursuit sometimes. However, if Mega Latios has changed its type to Steel, -ate Speed users won't be able to revenge kill it from full health.

**Giratina**: Giratina can wall Mega Latios sets that lack both Freeze-Dry and Moonblast due to its typing and stellar bulk. If Mega Latios runs one of those moves, it must sill be wary of things like Curse, Destiny Bond, and Glare which can either KO it immediately or make it more susceptible to being KOed later.

**Item Removal**: Getting rid of the source of Mega Latios's power via Knock Off or Trick makes it much less effective

Protean Mega Latios is an extremely powerful tool that uses four coverage moves along with Protean to dismantle opposing Wonder Guard cores and threaten slower non-Wonder Guards with ludicrously powerful attacks. Flash Cannon targets and OHKOes the omnipresent Xerneas, and as well as most physically defensive Mega Audino. Grass Knot OHKOs targets both Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre and Mega Swampert while also OHKOing Mold Breaker Primal Groudon;, it doesn't always ohko full spd ogre (though it has a good chance to) though alternatively Freeze-Dry could be used, as it targets Wonder Guard Gyarados and Giratina on top of what Grass Knot targets, while still 2HKOing both Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogres and Giratina, as well as OHKOing Gyarados and Mega Swampert. clarified Secret Sword OHKOes Wonder Guard Blissey and Chansey, but only 2HKOs physically defensive Arceus and Slaking. Searing Shot OHKO threatens Mega Scizor as well as the occasional Registeel and Mega Steelix, and Earth Power threatens all Primal Groudon variants as well as Wonder Guard Mega Manectric, Skuntank, and Drapion. and Moonblast OHKOes both Mega Sableye and Giratina. Bug Buzz OHKOes most Mega Mewtwo Y, and OHKOes physically defensive most Cresselia, but 2HKOs specially defensive Cresselia. mention how it threatens psychic-type subpass wgs, especially mmy and deo-s Gastro Acid allows Mega Latios to threaten teams against which it only directly threatens one Wonder Guard user, and is especially effective on teams running two Protean Mega Latios; however it takes a valuable turn to remove the opposing Wonder Guard's ability and only allows Mega Latios to run three coverage moves. moved to main set + slightly tweaked. describe spread at the end of the paragraph

mention what team structures protean latios works best on first
Choice Band and Choice Specs item Mold Breakers like Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon, and Mega Diancie Mewtwo Y specs diancie is rare and band is even rarer help Mega Latios in instances where it can't break opposing Wonder Guard cores on its own, pressuring the Wonder Guard that Latios is unable to it with either an OHKO or huge damage. Furthermore, Mega Latios can consistently force this opposing Wonder Guard users in, allowing for the gain of momentum. mention dual protean latios teams and probably huge power mmx + protean lati team structures as well Mega Gyarados also pairs well with Latios as it heavily threatens Prankster Giratina and Ho-Oh, a Pokemon that takes minimal damage from can switch in on Mega Latios lacking Freeze-Dry or Moonblast. this is kinda misleading imo since latios should always have a way to threaten gira Mega Latios also benefits from Wish in certain cases, as being at high health is important to live hits from STAG Pokemon like Regigigas. lati loses to silk scarf slaking/regi even if it's at full Aromatherapy support is also appreciated;, as being paralyzed can often invalidate hamper Mega Latios's offensive presence, and it hates taking damage every turn from dislikes getting chipped by burn and poison. i would definitely mention subpass support from xern because getting lati in behind a sub lets it threaten wgs more safely

Mega Latios can opt to run an EV spread of 248 160 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpAtk / 96 Spe in order to live hits better from common special Shadow Tag users like Mega Mewtwo Y, while also complimenting its ability to change types outspeeding Adamant Primal Groudon. However, Mega Latios' mediocre speed doesn't like being lowered further, as it prevents it from beating select Primal Groudon sets then does not outspeed Jolly Primal Groudon and is more easily threatened by Mold Breaker Mega Diancie and opposing Mega Latios. also mention timid latios which outspeeds most moldy diancie/latios, but running timid hurts rolls against wg spd ogre with grass knot/cress with bug buzz/gira with moonblast You could also forgo Flash Cannon could be forgone no second-person writing in favor of another coverage move, but this would only be viable in conjunction with a Shadow Tag Pokemon that can hit Xerneas, as it almost never runs Shed Shell due to Leftovers Wonder Guard Xerneas's ubiquity. Dedicating an entire team slot to get rid of Xerneas is unfavorable, as usually it is better to fill that slot with something else. offensive stags are also matchup fishes + can run 3~4 attacks, this doesnt seem accurate Aura Sphere can be used to OHKO Slaking as well as Arceus after Stealth Rock, but at the cost of not breaking Wonder Guard Chansey and only 2HKOing Blissey. also mention dark pulse which threatens wonder guard dusclops thunderbolt which threatens ho-oh while still hitting ogre and wg gyarados and sludge bomb which can spread poisons giving it a small niche over flash cannon (though ofc it usually isnt worth it) Lastly, Gastro Acid is an option to threaten Wonder Guards you can't hit, but it not only takes up a valuable move slot, but takes a turn to use. This can make it unreliable, as you give chances for Wonder Guards to gain momentum almost for free. moved to main set

Checks and Counters
=============

**Faster Offensive Shadow Tag Pokemon**: renamed to faster offensive mons because this compresses checks&counters while still being accurate Due to Mega Latios' relatively low speed, it can be easily trapped and taken out by common offensive Shadow Tag users like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y Mega Rayquaza after Stealth Rock, and Silk Scarf Slaking or Regigigas. because of soul dew latios should eat a hit from stag mmy if healthy. add moldy section from below and mention no guards/huge powers force lati out

**Magic Guard Ho-Oh**: While rare, Magic Guard Ho-Oh is capable of walling almost all Protean Mega Latios sets with its good typing and phenomonal special bulk, and annoying Mega Latios with status spreading in Psycho Shift. However, Ho-Oh is usually prone to easily threatened by a physical Mold Breaker teammate or Huge Power Pursuit users. you could also mention ho-oh can be removed by most stag sets

**Mega Gyarados with Sucker Punch**: Sucker Punch variants of Mega Gyarados can catch Mega Latios in 50/50s, either OHKOing it with Sucker Punch or Pursuit. this happened to me a few days ago in a friendly but gyara can also threaten latios that used searing shot the previous turn with shuriken

**Mega Gengar **: Mega Gengar is faster, and can OHKO Mega Latios with its Spooky Plate-boosted Judgement, while also pressuring Wonder Guards with its Mold Breaker ability. merge with faster offensive mons section + also mention moldy mmy mmx and niche scarf moldies like ray/pdon which can ko chipped latios

**-ate Speed users**: -ate Speed users like Refrigerate Abomasnow and Kyurem-B, Pixilate DIancie, or Aerilate Mega Rayquaza can force out Mega Latios with their powerful Extreme Speeds, and even carry a super effective Pursuit sometimes. mention that they can’t revenge steel type latios from full however

**Giratina**: Giratina is capable of walling Mega Latios sets that lack both Freeze-Dry and Moonblast due to its Dragon typing and stellar bulk. unsure if this section should stay, imo every latios should have a way to threaten gira

**Trick and Knock Off Item Removal**: Getting rid of the source of Mega Latios' power makes it much less effective at tearing apart Wonder Guard cores and threatening defensive non-Wonder Guards.

Protean Mega Latios uses its ludicrously powerful Soul Dew-boosted special attack and four coverage moves to dismantle opposing Wonder Guard core, along with slower non-Wonder Guard Pokemon. Flash Cannon targets and OHKOes both Xerneas and physically defensive Mega Audino. Talk about how flash cannon making you steel type helps a lot vs -ate pokemon making you more overall bulky and the general benefits of being steel in comparison to poison like from sludge bomb/wave and probably the same for the other moves but flash cannon is the biggest one in terms of type changing importance. Grass Knot targets Primal Kyogre and Mega Swampert while still being able to OHKO Primal Groudon, but doesn't always OHKO specially defensive variants of Primal Kyogre. An alternative is Freeze-Dry, as it also hits Giratina and Gyarados at the cost of only 2HKOing Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. Could maybe mention ice-weak wonder guards even if they're rare . Secret Sword OHKOs Wonder Guard Blissey and Chansey, but only 2HKOes physically defensive Arceus and Slaking. Aura Sphere can be used to OHKO Arceus and Slaking, but at the cost of not breaking Chansey and only 2HKOing Blissey. Personally would not mention aura sphere at all but that's up to you. Searing Shot threatens Mega Scizor as well as the occasional Registeel and Mega Steelix, and Earth Power threatens all Primal Groudon variants as well as Wonder Guard Mega Manectric, Skuntank, and Drapion. Moonblast OHKOs both Mega Sableye and Giratina. Bug Buzz OHKOes Mega Mewtwo Y, most Cresselia, and Deoxys-Speed, stopping them from safely passing a substitute to a teammate. Lastly, Gastro Acid could be used to negate the opposing Pokemon's Wonder Guard ability but is often a momentum drain.

Due to fitting best on bulky offense and balance teams, Choice item Mold Breakers like Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon, and Mega Mewtwo Y help Mega Latios in instances where it can't break opposing Wonder Guard cores on its own, threatening them for huge damage. Furthermore, Mega Latios can consistently force opposing Wonder Guard users in, allowing the gain of momentum. Additionally, Huge Power or Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X pairs well with Latios as their coverage can break opposing Wonder Guard users that Mega Latios can't. Mega Gyarados also pairs well with Latios as it heavily threatens Prankster Giratina and Wonder Guard Ho-Oh, you could mention others as well such as volcorona or talonflame. Pokemon that can switch in on Mega Latios. Aromatherapy is also appreciated, as being paralyzed can often hamper Mega Latios's offensive presence, and it dislikes taking chip from burn and poison. Mega Latios performs particularly well with a slow Substitute passing teammate like Wonder Guard Xerneas, Skuntank, Mega Swampert, or Sableye-mega. as it will still threaten opposing teams while being more difficult to revenge kill. I might try to avoid using xern as the only sub passing example now a days and mention other subpassing wgs or even sub pass bounce giratina.

Talk about how poison is generally worse i suppose maybe this overlaps a bit with the main set but try to clear it up. Lastly, Gastro Acid could be used to negate the opposing Pokemon's Wonder Guard ability but is often a momentum drain. Move Gastro to the top since its main set.

Implemented!

I kept in Aura Sphere because its legit. I didn't edit to Wonder Guard Ho-Oh because Magic Guard can still come in freely most of the time and take minimal damage, as well as force it out with flare blitz or psycho shift. Didn't include Gardevoir. Kept that mega latios underspeeds basically every common stag mon, but changed wording.

Other than that, all your changes were implemented!

I think there's been some miscommunication or misunderstanding about gastro acid. you now have it in the main set and other options. Personally, I find it as a main set move so I would keep it there so I would remove the line from oo as you have a duplicate now " Lastly, Gastro Acid could be used to negate the opposing Pokemon's Wonder Guard ability, but is often a momentum drain."

All changes look good otherwise so giving it the 2/2 QC.

Mega Gyarados also pairs well with Latios as it heavily threatens Prankster Giratina and Ho-Oh, Pokemon that can switch in on Mega Latios. Aromatherapy is also appreciated, as being paralyzed can often hamper paralysis often hampers Mega Latios's offensive presence, and it dislikes taking chip damage from burn and poison. Mega Latios performs particularly well with a slow Substitute-passing Substitute + Baton Pass teammate like Wonder Guard Xerneas, Skuntank, Mega Swampert, and or Mega Sableye, as it will still safely (I imagine this makes sense?) threaten opposing teams while being more difficult to revenge kill.

Other Options
=============
Mega Latios can opt to run an EV spread of 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe in order to live hits better survive more hits (I imagine this works?) from special Shadow Tag users, (AC) like Mega Mewtwo Y, while also still outspeeding Adamant Primal Groudon. However, Mega Latios then does not outspeed Jolly Primal Groudon and is more easily threatened by Mold Breaker Mega Diancie and opposing Mega Latios. Timid could be ran in order run to outspeed opposing Mega Latios and Mega Diancie at the cost of worse KO (or "damage rolls" if thats what you mean) rolls on Primal Kyogre, Cressellia, and Giratina with Grass Knot, Bug Buzz, and Moonblast respectively. super effective attacks. Flash Cannon could be forgone in favor of for another coverage move, but this would only be viable in conjunction with a Shadow Tag Pokemon that can hit Xerneas due to Leftovers's ubiquity on it. Thunderbolt could be used for damage on Ho-Oh hits Ho-Oh well while still hitting Primal Kyogre and Mega Gyarados, but it could let Primal Groudon come in for free. Dark Pulse could be used to hit hits Dusclops while hitting Giratina and Cresselia. Sludge Bomb could be used over Flash Cannon for its poison chance, but leaves you open to be easily revenge killed by -ate Speeds. it leaves Mega Latios easily revenge killed by -ate Speed users.

Checks and Counters
=============

**Shadow Tag**: Due to Mega Latios underspeeding getting outsped by many common Shadow Tag Pokemon and its lack of free item slot, being unable to fit Shed Shell, it can be easily trapped and taken out by common Shadow Tag users like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Rayquaza after Stealth Rock, and Silk Scarf Regigigas or Slaking.

**Magic Guard Ho-Oh**: While rare, Magic Guard Ho-Oh is capable of walling can wall most Protean Mega Latios with its good typing and phenomonal phenomenal special bulk, and annoying Mega Latios annoying it with status spreading in Psycho Shift. However, Ho-Oh is usually prone to easily threatened by a physical Mold Breaker, Huge Power + Pursuit user, or physical Shadow Tag user.

**Mega Gyarados with Sucker Punch**: Sucker Punch variants of Mega Gyarados can catch Mega Latios in 50/50s, either OHKOing coinflip scenarios, threatening to either OHKO it with Sucker Punch or Pursuit.

**Fast Mold Breaker Users**: Mold Breaker users like Mega Gengar, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Arceus can outspeed Mega Latios and either put it to sleep or OHKO it while still threatening damage on the rets rest of your team.

**-ate Speed users**: -ate **-Ate Speed Users**: -Ate Speed users like Refrigerate Abomasnow and Kyurem-B, Pixilate DIancie, or Mega Diancie, and Aerilate Mega Rayquaza can force out Mega Latios with their powerful Extreme Speeds, and they even carry a super effective Pursuit sometimes. However, if Mega Latios has changed its type to Steel, it will be unable to be revenge killed by -ate Speed users from full. -ate Speed users won't be able to revenge kill it from full health.

**Giratina**: Giratina is capable of walling can wall Mega Latios sets that lack both Freeze-Dry and Moonblast due to its typing and stellar bulk. If Latios opts to run Mega Latios runs one of those moves, it must sill be wary of things moves like Curse, Destiny Bond, and Glare, (AC) which can either KO it immediately or make it more susceptible to being kKO'd KOed later.

**Item Removal**: Getting rid of the source of Mega Latios' Latios's power via Knock Off or Trick makes it much less effective at tearing apart Wonder Guard cores and threatening defensive non-Wonder Guards.
