PSP?

No idea wether this goes here or not,mods move it to where it belongs if not here and sorry if i posted in wrong area.

I just need some view's on the PSP as i have a dsi after trading in my old school DS and im haveing fun playing new games and stuff but im thinking of buying a used Psp as I just finally saved 200 USD.(was saving for a psp but am thinking of changing my mind!)
I went to a local gamestop and saw that a used slim one's for 149.99 and the original is for 129.99 and am more then happy to buy a used original and buy 1 or 2 games and then take it from there w/memory sticks then i can watch movies and finally play GOW chains of olymps as i play GOW on Ps2 and throughly enjoyed.I could always buy a new one but then ill have to save more for new games?

I think the PSP is a great device, though I don't use it for much more than games. Most of my time with it is spent playing the DJ MAX games, those are really addicting if you have interest in rhythm games. Fighting games are pretty plentiful too, as well as RPGs. Those are what I usually play on mine and there's definitely enough to keep one entertained.

Custom Firmware is awesome. Definitely get it if you buy a PSP.
Speaking of which, I have two PSP slims and I'm actually trying to sell one. Don't know if I'm allowed to post this here though, so PM me if you want more info. ;) Mine is in great condition with custom firmware and it's cheaper than Gamestop.
 
Do not buy the new PSP-3000 model since it is unhackable, unless you really don't care about getting Custom Firmware (I really really really recommend it).

There some pretty good PSP games, like Crisis Core and GoW, and some good remakes like Final Fantasy Tactics, Mega Man Power Up, the Star Ocean games and more...
 
my freind does weird shit to his psp like some battry thingy so he said that i get one then he will mess with it and make it cool or w/e but is it worth the money?

and im looking for old models no new ones!!so no 300 or w/e

bigger question...original or slim?
 
The PSP Go should be announced tomorrow so I'd wait to see if you like that better or look it up and see if you like it at all. We should be hearing more details on it tomorrow at the very least. Personally, I wouldn't get a PSP unless you already have a DS and 360 which are around the same price but much better platforms for games. If you do own a 360 (I see you already have a DS), then yes a PSP can be fun. I only have a few games for it though.
