just a suggestion for future years, can we get some kind of discord related to the tournament? given the amount of players participating I can understand not wanting to deal with the hassle but pinging in thread for players to show up is quite inefficient considering most people check their discord more than smogon and over the several years ive participated i've seen act calls made and captains just barely miss the in thread ping. it could also give players the opportunity to make in team subs if the captains arent around

It's not a bad idea, and I'm not against it. I'll keep it in mind and we'll see if it's possible to set it up for next year
