Psycho Shift is Awesome

Hey everyone, I'm new here to Smogon and Shoddy. After reading over many RMTs in this forum, I've finally decided to make my own team. Please help. :)

Strategy: Keep bashing at the opponent and set up a sweep for Gyarados or Tyranitar. :D

Oh, and I'm not very sure about the EV's at all...

@ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
- Trick
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rocks
New Lead, sets up Rocks and revenge killer, Tricks Scarf to ruin Pokes (Thanks Gen Empoleon)

(M) @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
252 Atk 252 Spe 6 SpAtk
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
Wish/Protect for support, Draco Meteor is the attack I'm using most of the time, Flamethrower is to hit steels (Bronzong, Forretress, etc.) and maybe Weavile on the switch-in.

(F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 20 HP/252 Def/236 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psycho Shift
- Charge Beam
- Reflect
- Ice Beam
Status absorber (everyone other than sleep) and throw it back at my opponent with Psycho Shift (this move is awesome :D), not sure about other moves, Grass Knot could be used for swampert
Any suggestions on the moveset? I'd like to keep Psycho Shift, though.

@ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Leech Seed
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fire] (How come Shoddy won't let me have HP Fire? It keeps saying invalid IVs.)
Support, Leech Seed is annoying as hell, Recover is standard, not sure if Stealth Rock is wasting a moveslot, and not sure about HP Fire (but it can hit grasses that are immune to Leech Seed)

dpmfa130.png
(M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Dragon Dance
Standard? Hopefully this can sweep. And it can absorb sleep if I need it to. Vaporeon walls this though.

(M) @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
I love Sand Stream for breaking sashes and ruining Pokes like Bellyzard. I try to set up a sweep with this because he's so cool. lol Those three moves have the best coverage I think.

Thanks for reading, I'll be glad to switch some Pokemon around if it's for the better of the team. ;) Please rate and give advice. :D

Ok, well your lead is nothing short of terrible. Salamence will do nothing to the common leads besides weaken their attack by 1. Ok, so there are two pokemon on your team which could be fitting for the position of a lead; Metagross and Tyranitar. Metagross can set up Stealth Rocks and Trick a Choice iteam to a pokemon, while Tyranitar can be threatening with a Choice Band I'll list all them for you.

Metagross @ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
- Trick
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rocks

This set tricks a useless Choice Scarf to the opposing lead so you can then place Stealth Rocks down then deal as much damage as you can with Meteor Mash and Earthquake

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Crunch

Aqua Tail is so you can 2HKO Tyranitars biggest counter, Hippo, The rest of the moves are used to counter leads like Azelf with Crunch. He is sturdy so he won't be dying early game either.

Alright, so now Salamence is free to do what he does best, sweep. Salamence has unrivaled attack and pretty good speed, after a dragon dance he outspeeds the entire nonscarfed OU metagame. The normal Salamence set is pretty much only walled by certain steels, or fast Ice Punches/Ice Shards.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
252 Atk 252 Spe 6 SpAtk
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

With this set you'll be able to 2HKO most steel types (OHKO a few) and completely outspeed most if not all teams. Fire + Ground + Steel is completly unresisted type and should take advantage of that. Fire Blast is mainly for Skarms and Bronzongs.

Stay classy

Thanks Empoleon ! I'll switch up my team.
What should I put over Stealth Rock on Celebi then?

And does anyone have anything to say about Cresselia's moveset? I think it's pretty bad but I'd like to keep Psycho Shift.

If you at all find any use in keeping Tyranitar, then I suggest putting Life Orb over Chioce band, since occasionally you will be left with T-TAR as the last living pokemon in your team, and being locked to 1 move will prove hazardous and reduces the capacity of what tyranitar can really do.

Also, I suggest replace Tyranitar with Sub-Rhyperior because Rhyperior can do the job better.

you could say that about any choice item poke. and what job?

anyways, I'd leave choice Ttar the way he is.

Psycho Shift Cress makes no sense in my opinion unless she's hodling flame/toxic orb. otherwise you're just gonna be switching into situations were your opponent may or may not use a status move. I'd say to give her a flame orb to surprise your opponents. this way, you could carry Moonlight over reflect. (only is you absolutely wont change Psycho Shift.)

Cress's move set the one you are running right now wont help you at all and use the latest flame orb tank cress.
Cress@flame orb
Trick
Psyhco Shift
Ice Beam
Rest

Its not that latest, It's pretty old used to prevent Garchomp. Also I find that if your running that set, Physcic is really the best bet for STAB on Infernape which are common switch ins to Cresselia's PsychoShift
