Re: Castanho vs. Hacker

In the SV Draft battle between Heatran do Ódio’s Castanho and Bala Tapu Fini’s Hacker (Week 3), Castanho brought a team including Lycanroc, a Pokémon he had traded during Week 3 and was therefore not allowed to use until Week 4. Although this was obvious to many, it is true that it was not properly announced that trades would only apply starting the following week. Additionally, the draft sheet reflected the changes immediately after they happened, which led Castanho to believe he could use the recently traded Lycanroc.

However, teams had two weeks to ask questions or clarify any doubts regarding the draft rules (Week 3 lasted longer due to Christmas and New Year). Moreover, any changes made during a week only apply starting the next one; this includes roster changes, tier shifts, and draft trades. After confirmation from the TDs, Hacker was awarded the win.
