Welcome to the Playoffs portion of the SV PU Ladder Tournament! Now that we have reached the second stage, the 24 people who have qualified in the 4 laddering cycles will face off against each other in Best-of-Three sets in an attempt to emerge victorious.

Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • Standard SV PU.
  • Best-of-three, single elimination.
  • SV cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Tiers are locked at the beginning of each round.
  • Replays are mandatory for each game in Playoffs.

The Dripster vs. Danny

Same tier, same story as last week. It looks like Danny is the second seed but second is really just the first loser and my guy drip is the fourteenth loser (14>>1). d-legend is no stranger to adversity (terrible at pokemon) so I expect him to bounce back even if he's down 0-1 or 0-2 this series. Similarly to round one I'm without children of my own, so betting their well-being on pokemon matches is a sustainable strategy to motivate my archnemesis. The fate of my first, second, AND thirdborn are up for grabs @pu mainers. I hate this drip guy so I really hope danny wins, but I don't think it's in the cards this time :(
 
#1 frickEDmt vs #17 Kyuss - both came out p much out of nowhere and have looked very solid in their ladder runs, i've seen more of frickedmt so i favor them a bit
#2 Danny vs #15 DripLegend - loveee daniel, actual lower tier goat. i do feel a bit bad about predicting against my fellow odd eye circle stan but it is what it is
#3 Axrtix vs #14 Vulpix03 - can go either way, expect to see some cool teams from both
#4 Chloe vs #20 Ampha - better player with more pu experience
#5 fish anemometer vs #12 Togkey - fish is hungry for some wins and idt ashy is motivated for this tour at all

#7 Yourwelcomethanku vs #10 justdrew - hard to predict against drew when they legit won every single sv pu tour game they've had to play (i think?), but i was also extremely impressed by wally's ladder run and they can pull an upset here
#8 BloodAce vs #24 Askov - better player, not much to say here

#5 fish anemometer vs #12 Togkey - Going against the grain with this one, just my gut.
#6 ishtar vs #11 gum - Also believe this will be close, giving the edge to gum here.
#7 Yourwelcomethanku vs #10 justdrew - Seems like justdrew does a good job of figuring what's good in the meta so I'm expecting some solid teams.
#8 BloodAce vs #24 Askov - Askov seems good, I vote good.

Chloe was excited about post dlc meta i think so i think she'll put effort, could go either way but chloe is favoured i think
