Hello Everyone welcome to my first ever RMT please be nice and dont hurt my feelings too much and hopefully you like the team and think it is really good. This team stars mega diancie and Sword Dance talonflame to break down a crap ton on teams in the tier and destroys a lot of cores and is really good combined together. I called this team Punching Holes because that is what it does in a lot of teams if the other person doesn't play perfectly.
Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 92 Atk / 164 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect
The star of the show the Pokemon that I wanted to use to start this team; Mega Diancie. I started with the standard set with protect over rock polish because i didn't like the fact that i didn't have my speed before I mega evolve to out speed things that can kill this thing before it actually gets its speed such as Landorus and basically anything base 65 or above with some speed investment can out speed and kill this thing. I used 92 attack evs just to destroy stall with diamond storm while still keeping enough in special attack to 2HKO Rotom-W with protect and other threats to 2HKO such as bulky Landorus and physically defensive Mew. Plus the obvious max speed and a plus speed nature to out speed a lot of the meta and can kill a lot as well.
Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 92 Atk / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Roost
Next I added Talonflame to hit alot of things on the opposite side being the physical side. I decided to use Sword Dance over the other sets because this Talonflame's role is to break down stall take out alot of Pokemon that use priority to win and this set also breaks down 90% of the meta game using just its stab moves so a powerful physical attacker that can set up just like this Pokemon is really a nice pairing with a Pokemon like mega Diancie where this Pokemon also resist alot of moves that hit Diancie hard such as steel types moves, any grass type move, and any ground type move. The set is pretty standard as well as Diancie's. This pokemon uses double stab, Swords Dance, and roost. No really needing to explain this just set up and sweep really. The evs on the other hand aren't that standard I decided to put just enough ,with a positive nature, to out speed max speed base 115s and below just so I can use Flare Blitz freely without having to worry about if I'm running enough speed to outspeed the thing I'm trying to kill. 248 HP is because that is the max you can run without being even so you can switch into stealth rocks twice and finally the rest in attack I didn't feel like it needs alot of attack evs since it is a setup sweeper with Swords Dance and with a sharp beak it makes it all the more powerful.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Calm Nature
- Giga Drain
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Recover
After looking at the two above I realized i have an awful water weakness and electric weakness. I also thought that since the other two Pokemon on this team are offensive lets make this a defensive Pokemon. Thats when I decided on Celebi it resist both of the types that I need it to and it also is an extremely bulky monster that takes hits and does a lot in return. I decided on max HP and just enough speed to out speed max speed Tyranitar with the rest in SpD because I wanted this Pokemon to be Special Defensive because Celebi really shines as a specially defensive Pokemon with being able to beat Pokemon such as Keldeo, Azumarill, and even Raikou and Mega Manectric. This Pokemon just fit so well into the team I couldn't pass it up. I use Giga Drain because it plus leftovers on a Pokemon with a base 100 special attack heals a lot when it hits a Pokemon that super-effective and even neutral effective. I wanted rocks because with rocks it only adds to the sweeping ability of mega Diancie and Talonflame so i defiantly wanted that on my team and the fact that Celebi could learn it made it an even more perfect fit on the team. Next i wanted a status move, it was a tossup between Toxic and Thunder Wave but i went with thunder wave because I realized that this team is meant for out speeding and killing things so when i run into a Pokemon that is really fast or threatens me in anyway just Thunder Wave it and shut it down completely which can also help with the sweeping potential of Talonflame and Mega Diancie, Plus it really just helps the rest of my team in general not just these two. Finally I put Recover just to have more reliable recovery and make Celebi an even bulkier Pokemon.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
Next i wanted two things a way to stop people from getting rid of my hazards and a pokemon to synergize well with Celebi. Literally Bisharp is perfect for this slot resisting Poison, Flying, Ghost, Dark, and Ice with defiant to stop defog. I couldn't use another Pokemon besides Bisharp. With priority and hitting almost everything extremely hard and stopping defog and if it gets to plus two it will pretty much sweep through everything plus the other three Pokemon on this team had some issues with scarf Landorus so this really helps taking it down with sucker punch and getting a plus one boost every time a Landorus comes in, this pokemon was just perfect for this role. Evs are straight forward max speed and attack with life orb for sweeping power and jolly for outspeeding alot of walls and other base 70s with a nuetral nature. Once again a pretty standard set with Sword Dance to sweep some more pokemon.
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 12 Def / 252 SpA / 244 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Defog
I realized i still had a water weakness and was weak to scarf Keldeo. I chose this over Latias because I really just wanted more offensive power and latias really doesn't offensively handle hazard setters and hazard removers. This pokemon handles (Slower than Latios) dragons and hits everything hard with this moveset and defog helps with getting rid of rocks because it wrecks Talonflame and nothing likes taking a life orb Draco from this thing except fairy types and even then you can still do a lot with psyshock. Hidden Power fire is used to kill ferrothorn and scizor and pretty much any steel type and can get rid of hazards so this pokemon is really just a hard hitting hazard controller. The evs are odd for a couple of reasons. With HP fire lowering your speed I thought since you cant out speed any max speed base 110s i deciced the next thing to outspeed Terrakion and Keldeo. Finally with the remaining i put in defense since its special defense is really good as is.
Raikou @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Extrasensory
Finally I decided to use Raikou because a good volt switcher is essential to help with sweeping. I decided to use Life Orb over specs because with so many ground types there were so many situations where i need HP Ice to kill a Pokemon but i was locked in an electric type attack. Just another standard 252 special attack and speed Pokemon to out speed most everything in the tier and kill alot with its offensive power. Raikou is a Pokemon really for momentum and eliminate unsuspecting foes thinking it was specs or it could switch in on it. I used standard Thunderbolt/ Volt Switch and HP Ice for Bolt-Beam coverage and extrasensory for coverage and help with fighting types.
Threat List:
1. Scarf Excadrill- This really puts in alot of work to this team being able to rock slide, iron head, and earthquake hitting this team hard you really need to be able to handle this. The best thing to do is to Sucker Punch with Bisharp or where it down with Celebi and Giga Drain but if Celebi takes damage and gets flinched its over.
2. Mega Diancie- This Pokemon is kinda like Excadrill just destoys alot of things once again just iron heading with Bisharp before it megas is really just the best idea or even Thunderbolting with Raikou. If Mega Diancie gets up a Rock Polish its gonna be issues for you.
3. Landorus- This thing is just a monster to deal with. Handling Talonflame with the defensive set and being able to hit everything on this team super effectively with its scarf set this pokemon is a real issue just hitting it any way you can will really help you deal with this thing.

Conclusion
I really like this team. The offensive power of this team is just really fun and is really hard to beat with defense and offense in any way with pokemon setting up at any moment and punching holes in teams if you misplay once against this team you will be in a world of hurt probably having one two three pokemon being beat. With the setup on this team as well of just plain offensive power this team will do great for you if you learn how to use it and learn to control it. This team is really good if it is played right and even brought me to Top 100 while suspect testing. I hope you guys liked this RMT once again this is my first but please do not hold back on me for it lol any changes you have please tell me and ill assess them and see if they make the team better!
Thank You -Magikarpite Plz
