Pursuit vs. Baton pass?

If the Pursuit user is slower, they'll hit the Pokemon that is switched in.

If the Pursuit user is faster, they'll hit the Pokemon before it uses Baton Pass for 40BP.

Basically, Pursuit acts like it does as if no switch took place - just a 40BP attack.

that's a shame : /. Weavile would have made an awesome ninjask counter.

EDIT: forgot to add my thanks XD Thanks for the info.

Ninjask will outspeed your Weaville and X-Scissor your face. Swords Dance guarantees a KO.

EDIT: I forgot to uncheck a box and this the following is wrong. Mock as required. I just hope all the calcs I've run today haven't suffered the same innaccuracies.

Ice Shard is only like 60% and doesn't OHKO at CB either. Basically Weaville loses unless Ninjask switches into it, in which case they deserve to lose.

lol what ninjask doesn't have the defense to take a SE and probabbly CBed or Life orbbed stabbed ice shard from a 120 base attack

Exactly, unless The Ninjask is Bold and has 252 HP EVs, 252 DEF EVs, LOL ¬¬

Ninjask has only a 3/15 chance of suseviving Adamant Weavile Ice Shard if it has 4 HP EVs. Jolly Weavile will never OHKO unless it has a Life Orb or Choice Vand, in which case ir pretty much always OHKOS.

I always did take the CB Jolly (LOL a Jolly Weavile? xD, full of joyness...) version into consideration seeing that is the most common Lead of all the variations

Wow, it really helps to make sure you uncheck all boxes when you run a damage calc. @CB it'll obviously KO.

However given the current metagame 252Att and 252Def is probably the best way to spread a Ninjask, and that survives Ice Shard non-CB.

With protect you outspeed scarfing base 100 pokes so you can get away from any special threads quite neatly.

If worst comes to worst you switch, Ice Shard doesn't do much to bulky water or anything tanky.
