Yup, my sandstorm team. I have tested it out, and its not as good as I would like it to be. I would like rates, and criticism. The main goal for this team is simply only to stall sweepers, hopefully getting rid of them, to make way of my sweepers. I am free to suggestions on movesets and pokemon.

DETAILED:
Tyranitar.png

Rawr means ill kill you in dinosaur.

Tyranitar@Lum Berry Trait:Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Atk / 224 SpD
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
Payback
Stone Edge
Stealth Rock
Earthquake

Tyranitar is STILL amazing at leading, imo. And I can always count on him either setting up SR, sandstorm, or both. Basic lead set. Tyranitar is never fast enough to hit with crunch, so payback is necessary, same with stab stone edge. Stealth Rock is to get some traps set up, because that is key to getting OHKOs. Earthquake is self explanatory, for more coverage, as all.

scizor.jpg

Bang, bang, bang. Headshot.

Scizor@Choice Band Trait: Technician
Evs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
U-turn
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Quick Attack

Basic banded scizor set. Hes awesome at scounting, even though made pointless with team overview, its still very viable to making a good sweep attempt. Usally, people predict a bullet punch, so they switch into a steel type, so I usually can predict that, and screw them with superpower. Bullet Punch and quick attack are mandatory priority.

We can be strong~ Here on this lonely road!

Gastrodon@Leftovers Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature(+SpD, -Atk)
Earth Power
Scald
Toxic
Recover

Gastrodon is a pokemon I have always loved, for the fact it looks really awesome, but its an acquired taste, I suppose. Besides the point, he is almost a priority to have a gastrodon on a sandstorm team. With storm drain, it can be switched out most of the time against most water attackers, such as Jellicent, Starmie, Lanturn, etc. And now that storm drain boost sp attk, it makes his job much much easier.

200px-445Garchomp.png

Russian Roulette is not the same without a gun...

Garchomp @Choice Scarf Trait:Sand Veil
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature(+Spe, -SpA)
Outrage
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Fire Blast

Scarfed Garchomp is a pretty good sweep. With the extra speed, he can beat most competitors already. Hes the best physical wallbreaker in the game, and he has a good reason to. Fire Blast is there to destroy Skarmory and friends switch ins. Enough said.

No one has survived the meteor shower seen last Saturday evening.

Latios @Choice Specs Trait:Levitate
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature(+Spe, -Atk)
Draco Meteor
Surf
Hidden Power Fire
Psychic

Down right best special wall breaker in the game. Because he might be banned, and for that purpose only will I replace him for something else, and so Im asking for suggestions to replace him. Stab Draco Meteor for obvious reasons, same with surf. HP Fire is to destroy Nattorei who think they can switch in to his attacks thinking of D Meteor. Psychic is for coverage- Thinking on replacing with Trick, help please?

Terrakion.png

I learned our love is like a brick...build a house or sink a dead body.

Terrakion@ Air Balloon Trait: Justified
evs: 4 HP / 248 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature(+Spe, -SpA)
Rock Slide
Close Combat
X-Scissor
Swords Dance

Terrakion is good on any sandstorm team given the support it needs to sweep. He is faster than Garchomp, but only by a little. He cannot outspeed Jolteon, a pokemon I have always had trouble with. So, he is the most expendable pokemon for a faster sweeper, or a physical wall that my team desperately needs against enemy Terrakion, Garchomp, Salamance, and friends. Rock Slide and Close Combat are much needed Stab, X-Scissor is for psychic types, and swords dance is to raise attack while people try to pop Terrakion's balloon./

The best replacement to Latios: Latias.
I hear the Calm Mind set works well.
And give some explanation to Terrakion. What's its purpose and how does it help the team?

Why do people never seem to rate my threads. Sigh.
I'll rate it since it's your only thread anyway to correct you first off.

Lets talk about some offensive threats that I've noticed by just looking at your team, the common Excadrill tears through it easily, as in example Garchomp revenges a Pokemon with Outrage or EQ (speaking about if it was a Balloon variant) , your opponent switches Swords dance, and will destroy everything on your team. So my recommendation is to add a steel that isn't affected by ground type attacks some of the choices could be Bronzong or Skarmory, but out of the two which I think is more ideal in the team will be Skarmory since you can set up easily with it and have some layers with spikes. From all the Pokemon I've seen in your team I feel that is most useless is Scizor, you really don't need it to scout out Pokemon and it just doesn't fit the team and seems out of place.

Skarmory @ Leftovers/Shed Shell
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD
~Spikes
~Roost
~Brave Bird
~Whirlwind

On Latios, you might want to take Psychic out and put Psyshock since, you are using Specs it can do major damage to Blissey or Chansey since it'll be transferred into physical defensive damage. On Garchomp, it feels sometimes to be that scarf chomp is a rarity compared to Gen 4 when it was still OU. Stone Edge is very unreliable and doesn't add on you need it that much, once a steels out on your team, Dragon typed Pokemon will tear through the team and since you can never be too sure with Outrage depending on what other Pokemon the opponent has, you might want to switch out Stone Edge into Dragon Claw.

Other then that your team looks fine, and I wish you luck in the future.

Thank you very much for the input. I was thinking of adding a steel type immune to earthquake, seeing Scizor isnt much use during most of my battles. I have changed Psychic to Pyshock on Latios as of now.
