Diglett-Alola @ Life Orb
Ability: Tangling Hair
Level: 5
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 36 Def / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Blast
- Sucker Punch

With its Kantonian counterpart banned, Alolan Diglett fills its place as a fast cleaner while also possessing strong STAB moves allowing it to target the likes of Chinchou and Stunky and a good Attack stat! Rock Blast is helpful to OHKO Vullaby while also hitting Terastallized Chinchou and Wingull. Sucker Punch is valuable priority, allowing Alolan Diglett to pick off the only naturally faster Pokemon in the tier, Elekid, as well as Choice Scarf users like Gothita and Speed Boost Torchic. Tera Stellar is a unique Tera type option that allows Alolan Diglett to OHKO itemless Mienfoo and Foongus after Stealth Rock and OHKO Gothita from full HP with Sucker Punch. Alolan Diglett is lacking defensively, so it appreciates pivots like Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Chinchou allowing it to come in safely to fire off attacks. Knock Off users like the aforementioned Mienfoo and Vullaby as well as Stunky and Tinkatink can help remove Eviolite from foes to allow Alolan Diglett to more easily clean up teams. Alolan Diglett struggles to break through Mudbray due to its high bulk, so counters to it like Foongus and Wingull can come in handy.

With its Kantoan Kantonian (there's a "Kantonian" gym in the games) counterpart banned, Alolan Diglett fills its place as a fast cleaner while also possessing strong STAB moves allowing it to target the likes of Chinchou and Stunky (RC) and a good Attack stat! Rock Blast is helpful to OHKO Vullaby while also hitting Terastallized Chinchou and Wingull. Sucker Punch is valuable priority, allowing Alolan Diglett to pick off the only naturally faster Pokemon in the tier, Elekid, while also allowing it to pick off as well as (repetition) Choice Scarf users like Gothita and Speed Boosted Boost (avoiding ability name as a verb, same meaning) Torchic. Tera Stellar is a unique Tera Type type option that allows Alolan Diglett to OHKO Itemless itemless Mienfoo and Foongus after Stealth Rock (RC) while also allowing it to and OHKO Gothita from full HP (repetition, maintaining the contrast) with Sucker Punch. Alolan Diglett is lacking defensively, so it appreciates pivots like Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Chinchou allowing it to come in safely to fire off attacks. Knock Off users like the beforementioned aforementioned Mienfoo and Vullaby as well as Stunky and Tinkatink can help remove Eviolites Eviolite from foes to allow Alolan Diglett to more easily clean up teams. Alolan Diglett struggles to break through Mudbray due to its high bulk, so counters to it like Foongus and Wingull can come in handy.
