Terapagos serves as the tier’s premiere Rapid Spin user that also doubles as an offensive threat, with its ability Tera Shell giving Terapagos a free turn to force progress. Dark Pulse allows Terapagos to deal significant damage to Giratina and Necrozma-DW, and Earth Power allows Terpagos to hit Magearna, Zamazenta-Crowned, Dialga and Garganacl super-effectively. 244 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature allows Terapagos to be faster than Deoxys at +1 speed, while 180 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature is just faster than Zacian at +1 speed. Notable teammates for Terapagos include Alomomola who can Wishpass to Terapagos to restore Tera Shell, Cyclizar who can Shed Tail into Terapagos to get multiple activations of Tera Shell, and Fighting-type resists such as Landorus-T or Necrozma-DW. Terapagos is vulnerable to Pokemon that can ignore Tera Shell, including Kyurem-W, Choiced Solgaleo, Photon Geyser Necrozma-DW, Ogerpon-Hearthflame and Excadrill. Giratina is capable of forcing Terapagos out with phasing. When Terastalized, Terapagos notably gains a major stat boost and purely neutral coverage with Tera Starstorm, in addition to clearing active Weathers and Terrain.

Terapagos serves as the tier’s premiere is a Rapid Spin user that also doubles as an offensive threat, with its ability Tera Shell giving Terapagos a free turn to force progress. Dark Pulse allows Terapagos to deal significant supereffective damage to Giratina and Necrozma-DW Solgaleo, and; Earth Power allows Terpagos to hit Magearna, Zamazenta-Crowned, Dialga steel types such as Magearna and Solgaleo, and Garganacl super-effectively.; Ice Beam lets Terapagos hit Giratina for more damage than Dark Pulse, and also OHKOs Landorus without any boosts. 244 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature allows Terapagos to be faster than Deoxys at +1 speed, while 180 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature is just faster than Zacian at +1 speed. add a bit about the niche Rock Polish set, the EVs are to outrun +1 base 110 (trailblaze hearthpon, scarf latios, proto spe wake sort of, etc). Mention that with a timid nature, it can also outrun the niche Scarf Sneasler, although that usually defeats the point of running Rock Polish since you're using it to run Modest. Just re-write this section atp, it's far too out of date. Probably should talk about how Tera Shell is arguably Terap's strongest trait, so any mechanics that allow it to trigger Tera Shell multiple times can pair well. AloWish, Hwish, Shed Tail, Hatterene + lefties, etc. You don't have to say they're good (idt terap is even really good anymore), but it's worth mentioning nonetheless. Terapagos is vulnerable to Pokemon that can ignore Tera Shell, including Kyurem-W, Choiced Solgaleo, Photon Geyser Necrozma-DW, Ogerpon-Hearthflame and non-sand rush Excadrill. Giratina is capable of forcing Terapagos out with phasing. Is this sentence incomplete? When Terastalized, Terapagos notably gains a major stat boost and purely neutral coverage with Tera Starstorm and hits Tera'd Pokemon for supereffective damage, in addition to clearing active Weathers and Terrain which can allow it to perform notably vs the occasional Sun team. It also bears worth mentioning that post-tera Tera Starstorm is actually weaker than pre-tera Tera Starstorm, which is something to be cognizant of when lining up a sweep

actually, after talking to finchley we are just going to archive this after the new drops. dm me or them if you have any further questions
