[OVERVIEW]
Diancie's great typing lets it switch in easily against common dangerous Fire- and Flying-, and Normal-types such as Chandelure, Talonflame, Oricorio-E, and Porygon-Z. With well-rounded stats, Diancie can easily go both offensive and defensive, with its sets being supported by its large movepool. Specially defensive Diancie is a great check to special wallbreakers like Chandelure, Kilowattrel and Hisuian Typhlosion, and it can carry Encore to circumvent its passivity when against setup sweepers. Trick Room sets can easily turn the tables versus faster, more offensive teams, as Diancie can outspeed and KO everything after it gets its Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam.

With a specially defensive EV spread, Diancie is able to repeatedly switch into special attacks, giving it opportunities to set up Stealth Rock and fire off STAB Diamond Storm. Body Press hits Steel-types like Copperajah and Registeel trying to switch in on Diancie, and it can take advantage of Diamond Storm's chance to boost its Defense. Encore prevents Diancie's passivity from getting taken advantage of too easily by opposing hazard setters and setup sweepers, such as Klefki and Iron Thorns alike, but Moonblast can be used to be able to hit Ground-types like Swampert and Flygon harder. Tera types for this set are focused on flipping Diancie's matchups. Tera Water gives Diancie a resistance to Steel- and Water-type attacks, letting it finish off Copperajah and Inteleon while maintaining its Fire resistance. However, Tera Steel trades Diancie's matchup against Fire-types for a strong defensive typing thay can take on hits from Munkidori, Sylveon, and Tsareena without issue. Tera Dragon on the other hand lets Diancie take on Rotom-C and Araquanid, but it completely throws away its matchup against Dragalge and Florges.

Fire-types like Incineroar and Talonflame make for strong partners because they threaten Steel- and Grass-types that force Diancie out, such as Bronzong, Registeel, Tsareena, and Brambleghast. The aforementioned Grass-types, along with Rotom-C, also have great synergy with Diancie, as it checks Fire- and Flying-types for them. In return, they handle Ground- and Water-types like Flygon, Swampert, and Inteleon. Diancie can't take on physical wallbreakers like Toxicroak and Mienshao too well, so physically defensive Pokemon like Swampert, Dragalge, and Talonflame pair well with it to help check these threats.

With an offensive spread, the Trick Room set is capable of taking down many foes. Earth Power offers coverage for the Steel -and Poison-types that can take Diancie's Moonblast comfortably such as Registeel, Copperajah, and Tentacruel. Power Herb allows Diancie to immediately attack and get its Special Attack boost with Meteor Beam. Tera Grass gives Diancie a resistance to Grass-, Ground-, and Water-type attacks while giving it a neutrality to Steel-type moves, letting it set up Trick Room and attack more easily. Alternatively, Tera Ground is an option to boost Earth Power's damage, which is really appreciated to get KOs it wouldn't otherwise.

A lead to set up entry hazards such as Brambleghast or Froslass makes for a great partner, as it can help chip checks like Registeel, Alolan Muk, and Tentacruel into range for a KO. Mienshao and Breloom enjoy how Diancie can come in on and take advantage of Talonflame, and with it being downed, they don't need to worry about being revenge killed as easily or getting burned. Pokemon like Flygon, Drednaw, Oricorio-E, Galarian Articuno, and Iron Thorns that can chip away at and weaken Steel-types like Registeel and Copperajah for Diancie pair well with it too.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====
Diancie can run Rock Polish for a more permanent Speed boost, but with its low-base Speed, it's easily outpaced by Choice Scarf users like Flygon, Inteleon, and Mienshao even after it boosts. A Sticky Web setter is great for this set, as it attempts to solve Diancie's low speed issue.

If there is already a Stealth Rock user on Diancie's team, it can run Spikes instead so that it can continue to provide entry hazard support. Specially defensive sets can run a more specially oriented moveset, with moves like Moonblast, Earth Power, and Power Gem being run over Diamond Storm and Body Press. Diancie can also run a sweeper set with a moveset of Calm Mind / Iron Defense / Draining Kiss / Stored Power, which can take advantage of passive or weaker Pokemon quite well, but it can be easily overpowered by any wallbreaker or Trick, Encore and Taunt users.

Diancie can also run offensive sets with Stealth Rock and Spikes, usually with Moonblast and Earth Power supporting it; however it is considered a bit suboptimal, since its bulk is usually appreciated to set entry hazards up safely.

Checks and Counters
====
**Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types like Bronzong, Registeel, and Copperajah can easily switch in on Diancie and set up entry hazards, forcing it out or making it use Tera in order to survive an attack and KO them. In particular, Bronzong is quite bothersome for Diancie, as it walls its STAB attacks and is immune to Earth Power thanks to Levitate. However, all of these Steel-types lack a form of reliable recovery making them easily overwhelmed over the course of a battle. Both Bronzong and Registeel take a lot of damage from +2 Body Press and +1 Earth Power, respectively, so after some chip damage, Diancie can beat them.

**Ground-types**: Flygon, Swampert, and Gastrodon are trouble for Diancie, as they threaten Diancie out with their Ground-type STAB attacks and can take advantage of it by setting up entry hazards. If Diancie is running Moonblast, it can somewhat damage them, but if its not, it is an almost free switch-in for them, as Earth Power and Body Press aren't doing enough to threaten them.

**Water-types**: Offensive or defensive Water-types such as Inteleon, Basculegion, and Vaporeon can all threaten Diancie with their STAB attacks. They can also use Diancie for momentum and pivot with U-turn or Flip Turn, and they can even force Diancie to Terastallize or switch out. Inteleon and Basculegion both cannot deal with Diancie when under Trick Room, as they get defeated before they can act.

**Grass-types**: Offensive Grass-types such as Torterra and Tsareena make progress against and threaten Diancie; however they can't comfortably switch in on offensive sets. Torterra and Tsareena force Diancie to switch out or Terastallize, and the latter can even remove its Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin. Both of those Pokémon can't defeat Diancie when in Trick Room, as they get KOed first by +1 Moonblast

havocknight could you make sure this fits the Full Analysis Template. This would include all line skips and paragraphs being separated, as this is a full analysis. Also, it makes it cleaner and easier to read @ me after to give qc though <3
[OVERVIEW]

In the Overview, you want to generalize what the Pokemon in question accomplishes in the metagame and where it stands. You will also want to cover its drawbacks and anything else that may hold it back. This should be a pretty basic recap of the Pokemon; the Overview typically does not need to be much longer than seven or eight sentences, though of course this varies from Pokemon to Pokemon and compromises can be made.

The Set Comments section will often consist of two paragraphs. In the first paragraph, you should go over the specifics of this set. What are the purposes of the moves, item, ability, and nature + EVs? There is no need to talk about basic STAB moves, useless abilities, or simple EV spreads like 252 / 4 / 252.

In the second paragraph, you should talk about potential teammates and what makes them useful. Cover Pokemon that can patch up the analyzed Pokemon's weakness and mention Pokemon that benefit from the analyzed Pokemon's presence.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

In the Other Options paragraph, you can note any other options that are useable yet not considered viable enough to be mentioned in the Set Comments. If there are none, feel free to keep this empty. Trying to fill this paragraph with bad options for the sake of it is detrimental to the user reading the analysis's experience.

**Insert Threat Here**: You should describe why the Pokemon is a threat. Please do keep in mind that it is often easier to insert whole typings and then specify the Pokemon of such type that are threats; this makes it much easier to keep track of this section for the audience.

will do, thank you!

havocknight, I feel more needs to be put in the intro, and for the sets themselves, I don't see teammates for most of them. Could you double check with the template? Also, if you’re curious about length, I typically try to get, at minimum, three or four partner ideas for each set. (Depending on how I word it, it creates around 5-8 lines.) And, for the intro, it doesn’t need to be 8 lines long. But, it should be a well thought-out summary (at least six lines). If you have more questions, a response, or anything, you could have a conversation with me on here or we could continue over on discord.

[OVERVIEW]
Diancie’s a Fairy and Rock great typing Pokemon, which makes lets it a great switch-in easily against for most common dangerous of the Fire-types and Dragon Flying-types like Chandelure, Talonflame, Galarian Articuno, and Oricorio-E in the tier. With decent offensive stats, and stunning big Defensive Stats for both Defense and Special Defense, the Pokemon is proven to be a wall with some threat potential, as it is even possible to turn the defensive attributes into offensive power via Body Press well-rounded stats, Diancie can easily go both offensive and defensive with its sets, which is further supported by its excellent utility movepool. shortened, reworded Specially defensive Diancie when built and used as a Special Wall is mainly focused of course in Walling a great check to Special Attackers wallbreakers like Chandelure, Dragalge has a roll to 2hko, yeesh and Typhlosion-Hisui, and Kilowattrel, and it can carry Encore presence is also there to circumvent its passivity when against setup sweepers. Trick Room sets can easily turn the tables versus faster more offensive teams, as Diancie can outspeed and KO everything after it gets its Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam; however, it only lasts must be used with caution, as they last a few turns only, however, it has some worth as it flips the speed control, being specially good vs Offense. Diancie can also run Rock Polish for a more permanent Speed boost, but with its low base Speed, it's easily outpaced by Choice Scarf users like Flygon, Inteleon, and Mienshao even after it boosts. also seems its use, as similarly to Trick Room, it gets to move first versus a couple opposing Pokemon, and is a more lasting speed buff, however, due to diancie’s small base speed stat, it usually gets easily revenge killed by foreign scarfer. reformatted a bit to show how they are similar but different And, Steel-types like Bronzong, Copperajah, and Registeel are good at walling offensive Diancie sets, as it can't hit the former at all and has to rely on Earth Power for the latter two, which can always take one hit and set up entry hazards after or OHKO it with a STAB Steel-type attack. Physical wallbreakers can also be a pain for Diancie, as they can easily overpower it with repeated high-Base Power attacks like Mienshao's Close Combat and Toxicroak's Gunk Shot. Some physical attackers and Steel-types mainly are also a big threat for it, that can wall, get hazards up and threat offensively. explained and thought-out a bit more

Stealth Rock is a must-have move in basically all the teams in the NU tier and in almost every other, Defensive Diancie does the job of getting them up quite nicely, with strong bulk and somewhat powerful stabs to pressionate. sr isn't needed to mention and no need to elaborate on how well it works (that’d be for the intro technically) Body Press hits Steel-types like Copperajah and Registeel trying to switch in on Diancie, and it can take advantage of Diamond Storm's chance to boost its Defense. Encore also prevents Diancie's passivity from gets abused getting taken advantage of too easily and makes the life of by setup sweepers and opposing hazard setters harder alike, but Moonblast can be used to be able to hit Ground-types like Swampert and Flygon harder. u need to mention what tera water, steel, n dragon do for the set

(there is a needed space above to seperare set details from teammates)
This set is quite a joker and can fix in mostly any party, aiming on having some mons that cover Diancie’s weaknesses to (this is a bit informal) Fire-types like Incineroar and Talonflame that can threaten Steel-types and Grass-types, such as Bronzong, Registeel, Tsareena, and Brambleghast, and Rotom-Mow that force out Diancie make for strong partners. is a good shot though. So Fire-types such as Incineroar and Talonflame are great. Having those The aforementioned Grass-types, along with Rotom-C, also have great synergy with it, earlier mentioned as Diancie checks Fire- and Flying-types for them, and in return, they handle Ground- and Water-types like Flygon, Swampert, and Inteleon. teammates for it is also great, because Diancie covers most of the threats to them, and in return, those usually cover some secondary threats to Diancie such as Water-types and Ground-types. rephrased and added examples
diancie also has issues versus physical wallbreakers, so talk about that and include physically defensive teammates you could pair alongside it like talon, plume, n galge

(space added as per formatting) Diancie in a main piece for the SV NU Trick Room squads, being both one of the room setters as well as one of the strongest breakers of the party, being equipped with Power Herb + the powerful Meteor Beam, buffed both by STAB + its skipped charge turn to +1 SpA allows it pretty much to get a KO in everything that doesn’t resist it. (tr teams are bad, and i rephrased the mbeam + pherb part into the item sentence below) Earth Power offers coverage mainly for the Steel-and Poison-types, and moonblast STAB gets really scary as well after the Meteor Beam buff that can take Diancie's Moonblast comfortably such as Registeel, Copperajah, and Tentacruel. Power Herb allows Meteor Beam to skip its charging turn, so that Diancie can immediately attack and get its Special Attack boost. explain why u’d do tera grass (easier tr set up u resist water, grass, n ground atks + steel neutrality) n tera ground (boosted ep)

Some partners that this set will appreciate would be, of course, another 1-2 Trick Room setters, such as Cresselia or Espeon as well as a good A lead to set up entry hazards setting lead, such as Klefki Brambleghast or Froslass, makes for a great partner, as it can help chip checks like Registeel, Alolan Muk, and Tentacruel into range for a KO. (tr teams are bad as said earlier) Some breakers do also like to be paired with Diancie in this one because after she's done her job dealing with the stuff they're weak to, they can regularly win the game, as examples we have (a bit lengthy) Mienshao and Breloom technically psycho cut isnt fun to switch in to Gallade, whose benefits from enjoy how Diancie can come in on and take advantage of Talonflame, and with it being downed, they don't need to worry about being revenge killed as easily or getting burned. Pokemon like Flygon, Cloyster, and Galarian Articuno as well as some who can chip away at and weaken or deal with Steel-types like Bronzong and Copperajah for Diancie, such as Flygon, Cloyster and Articuno-Galar pair well.

(space needed for formatting) All-out attacker Diancie can be encountered mostly in Hyper Offense team archetypes, similar to the Trick Room set, this one offers basically the same approach, but with getting to move first via Rock Polish, and not via Trick Room. (full analyses dont require mini explanations here) Strong STAB Meteor Beam manages to get a KO in mostly everything and offers a significant buff to the already somewhat high SpA. Earth Power offers coverage versus the Steel- and Poison-types that can take and Diancie's Moonblast like Registeel, Tentacruel, and Galarian Slowbro. does its job as the Main STAB most of the time. Power Herb allows Meteor Beam to skip its charging turn, so that Diancie can immediately attack and get its Special Attack boost. Timid can be used over Modest to outspeed Choice Scarf Basculegion after a Rock Polish but is useless otherwise. also explain why u’d use tera grass/ground (same as tr, look above if needed)

(space needed by formatting)
This set enjoys being paired with entry hazard setters Spikes, Similarly to the Room Variant, however, like Froslass and Brambleghast, as they can chip checks into KO range of Diancie's attacks. Sticky Webs setters like Galvantula and Araquanid pair well too do also deserve a highlight, as it helps Diancie's still surpassed by most of the speed control Pokemon even Choice Scarf users like Mienshao and Flygon. after a single Rock Polish use, and its really hard to get to use the move more than once, so webs make revenge kill a lot harder. (shortened, n clearer in my opinion) Without Sticky Web support, Diancie tends to be easily revenge killed by these aforementioned Choice Scarf users. The most popular choice for that is Galvantula, which is faster and has a high accuracy and heavy hitting Thunder, as well as Paralysis potential. But Araquanid does also deserve a mention for beating Flygon and setting up Webs. (decided against mentioning this) As well as Steel-type Pokemon such as Iron Thorns, Flygon, and Cresselia that can overwhelmers Steel-types like Copperajah, Bronzong, and Registeel also make for strong teammates, as alongside Diancie, they can wallbreak for each other, weakening shared checks.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====

If there is already a Stealth Rock user on Diancie's team, it can run Spikes instead so that it can continue to provide entry hazard support. Specially defensive sets can run a more specially oriented moveset with moves like Moonblast, Earth Power, or Power Gem being run over Diamond Storm and Body Press. Diancie can also run a demon set with a moveset of Calm Mind / Iron Defense / Draining Kiss / Stored Power which can take advantage of passive or weaker Pokemon quite well, but it can be easily overpowered by any wallbreaker early, and users of Trick, Encore, and Taunt aren't too uncommon either.

Checks and Counters
====

(space required bc format) **Steel-types**: Bulky Steel Types Steel-types like Bronzong, Registeel, and Copperajah can easily switch in on Diancie and set up entry hazards usually handle Diancie pretty well, or at least force, forcing it out or making it have to use Tera Type in order to survive an attack and KO them kill it. In particular, Bronzong is quite bothersome for Diancie, as it walls its STABs and is immune to Earth Power thanks to Levitate. However, all of these Steel-types lack of reliable recovery make them able to be easily overwhelmed over the course of a battle. Stronger example that comes to mind is Registeel, which is the dominant bulky Steel-type in the tier at the moment, featuring a titanic 150 SpD and decent 80 HP stats, Diancie’s Earth Powers don’t really do a lot versus it, and Diancie gets clapped by a single Heavy Slam from it. Bronzong and Copperajah do also deserve to be mentioned here, but Regi is the main Steel-type check for it. (a few things, we dont shorten names here, we dont mention exact stat numbers, and the plural of anything is the same as the singular [in most if not all cases] like broccoli. also, [type]-type(s) > [type] Type(s).)

**Ground-types**: flygon, pert, n gastro all can switch in on and threaten it with their ground-type stab or they can take advantage of dia by setting up or getting hazards on the field. dia also cant do any damage to them without mblast

**Water-types**: intel, bascu, milo, n vapo all threaten dia and can use it for momentum with uturn or flip turn, respectively.

**Grass-Types**: Grass Types do manage to deal with Diancie to some extent aswell, mainly the ones who are also Poison-types such as Vileplume and Venusaur. Those 2 Specifically usually manage to deal with Diancie Comfortably, as they both oppress it even after it terastalizes to Grass or Ground, and do that while recovering HP or having a chance to status it, with Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb. Other Grass-types such as Tsareena can also check it, but not as efficiently and those 2.

id like this to be reformatted moreso like this: offensive grass types (being named) threaten dia > they cant comfortably switch in on offensive sets, and dia has tera grass to resist their attack and setup if needed

**Calm Mind Users**: Calm Mind users can usually stop taking significant damage from Diancie therefore making it a setup fodder to them, specially the bulkier ones such as Cresselia and Sylveon, that are not weak to any of Diancie’s coverage moves or STAB either.
not a ginormous issue in the grand scheme of things

be careful when implementing; i saw some stuff was glanced over/ignored

also we use the oxford comma so all lists will end with a comma and then and such as “Vaporeon, Clawitzer, and Quaxly are all Water-types.”

Body Press hits Steel-types like Copperajah and Registeel trying to switch in on Diancie, and it can take advantage of Diamond Storm's chance to boost its Defense. Encore prevents Diancie's passivity from getting taken advantage of too easily by opposing hazard setters and setup sweepers, alike, but Moonblast can be used to be able to hit Ground-types like Swampert and Flygon harder. Tera Types for this set are focused on making Diancie not weak anymore to some of its main checks. Tera Water gives Diancie a resigtance to Steel- and Water-type attacks, letting it finish off Copperajah and Drednaw while maintaining its Fire resistance. However, covers all the original weaknesses, Tera Steel trades Diancie's matchup into Fire-types for a strong defensive typing thay can take on hits from Munkidori, Sylveon, and Tsareena without issue. makes it immune to Poison moves and Toxic, and Tera Dragon on the other hand lets Diancie take on Rotom-C and Araquanid, but it completely throws away its matchup into Dragalge and Florges. is similar to Water, but it gets to resist Grass.

Fire-types like Incineroar and Talonflame that can threaten Steel- and Grass-types, such as Bronzong, Registeel, Tsareena, and Brambleghast that force out Diancie make for strong partners. The aforementioned Grass-types, along with Rotom-C, also have great synergy with it, as Diancie checks Fire- and Flying-types for them, and in return, they handle Ground- and Water-types like Flygon, Swampert, and Inteleon. Diancie can't take on physical wallbreakers like Toxicroak and Mienshao too well, so physically defensive Pokemon like Swampert, Dragalge, and Talonflame pair well to help check these threats. i said to right this in the past analysis but u did noth T-T

(add a space between these two paragraphs here like i did) Earth Power offers coverage for the Steel-and Poison-types, that can take Diancie's Moonblast comfortably such as Registeel, Copperajah, and Tentacruel. Power Herb allows Meteor Beam to skip its charging turn so that Diancie can immediately attack and get its Special Attack boost. Tera Grass givea Diancie a resistance to many of its weaknesses, namely to Grass-, Ground-, and Water-type attacks, while giving it a neutrality to Steel-type moves, letting it set up Trick Room and attack more easily. Alternatively, Tera Ground is an option to boost Earth Power's damage, which is really appreciated to get KOs it wouldn't otherwise. Grass makes Diancie resist its base 2x weaknesses and take neutral damage from Steel moves, making TR setup easier and showing more durability overall. its always in order

A lead to set up entry hazards such as Brambleghast or Froslass, makes for a great partner, as it can help chip checks like Registeel, Alolan Muk, and Tentacruel into range for a KO. Mienshao and Breloom enjoy how Diancie can come in on and take advantage of Talonflame, and with it being downed, they don't need to worry about being revenge killed as easily or getting burned. Pokemon like Flygon, Drednaw Cloyster banned, and Galarian Articuno who can chip away at and weaken Steel-types like Bronzong and Copperajah for Diancie pair well too.

(keep space for formatting) Earth Power offers coverage versus the Steel- and Poison-types that can take Diancie's Moonblast like Registeel, Tentacruel, and Galarian Slowbro. Power Herb allows Meteor Beam to skip its charging turn, so that Diancie can immediately attack and get its Special Attack boost. Timid can be used over Modest to outspeed Choice Scarf Basculegion after a Rock Polish but is useless otherwise. Tera Grass offers more durability, as Diancie gets to resist Grass-, Ground-, and Water-type attacks while or take taking neutral damage from Steel-type moves its former weakness types, and Tera Ground offers a damage buff to Earth Power, making some KOs possible that wouldn't happen without it.

This set enjoys being paired with entry hazard setters like Froslass and Brambleghast, as they can chip checks into KO range of Diancie's attacks. Sticky Webs setters like Galvantula and Araquanid pair well too as it helps Diancie surpass even Choice Scarf users like Mienshao and Porygon-Z after Rock Polish. Without Sticky Web support, Diancie tends to be easily revenge killed by these aforementioned Choice Scarf users. Pokemon such as Iron Thorns, Flygon, and Cresselia that can overwhelmers Steel-types like Copperajah, Bronzong, and Registeel also make for strong teammates, as alongside Diancie, they can wallbreak for each other, weakening shared checks.

====

(keep the space between the paragraphs plz) **Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types like Bronzong, Registeel, and Copperajah can easily switch in on Diancie and set up entry hazards, forcing it out or making it have to use Tera in order to survive an attack and KO them. In particular, Bronzong is quite bothersome for Diancie, as it walls its STABs and is immune to Earth Power thanks to Levitate. However, all of these Steel-types lack of reliable recovery make them able to be easily overwhelmed over the course of a battle.

**Ground-types**: Flygon, Swampert and Gastrodon are also troublish trouble for Diancie, as similarly to Steel-types, they threaten Diancie out with their Ground-type STAB and can take advantage of that by setting up can also switch in and drop entry hazards in the field occasionaly. If Diancie's running Moonblast, it can touch them somewhat, but if its not, it is an almost free switch-in for them, as Earth Power or Body Press isn't doing enough to threaten them decent numbers

**Water-types**: Offensive or Defensive Water-types such as Inteleon, Basculegion and Vaporeon can all threaten Diancie with their STABs. Inteleon, Vaporeon and Basculegion can use Diancie for momentum and pivot with U-turn or Flip Turn respectively, and Vaporeon can heal the team with Wish, Scald for Burn chip and they can even force Diancie to Terastalize Terastallize or Switch out.

**Grass-Types**: Offensive Grass-types such as Torterra and Tsareena do also make progress and threaten Diancie. They can't comfortably switch in on offensive sets, but can in defensive ones. Torterra and Tsareena forces a Diancie to Switch out or Terastallize a Terastalization by Diancie's side, and the latter can even remove its Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin Tsareena can threat with Power Whip and offer utility with Rapid Spin. Diancie can Terastalize to Grass. and setup in front of those mons if needed or if the scenario is favorable for that tho

[OVERVIEW]
Diancie's great typing lets it switch in easily against common dangerous Fire- and Flying-types such as Chandelure, Talonflame, Oricorio-E and Articuno-Galar. With well-rounded stats, Diancie can easily go both offensive and defensive, with its sets being supported by its large movepool. Specially defensive Diancie is a great check to special wallbreakers like Chandelure, Kilowattrel and Typhlosion-Hisui, and it can carry encore to circumvent its passivity when against opposing setup sweepers. Trick Room sets can easily turn the tables versus faster more offensive teams, as Diancie can outspeed and KO everything after it gets its Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam; however, it only lasts a few turns. Diancie can also run Rock Polish for a more permanent Speed boost, but with its low base Speed, it's easily outpaced by Choice Scarf users like Flygon, Inteleon, and Mienshao even after it boosts. And, Steel-types like Bronzong, Copperajah, and Registeel are good at walling offensive Diancie sets, as it can't hit the former at all and has to rely on Earth Power for the latter two, which can always take one hit and set up entry hazards after or OHKO it with a STAB Steel-type attack. Physical wallbreakers can also be a pain for Diancie, as they can easily overpower it with repeated high-Base Power attacks like Mienshao's Close Combat and Toxicroak's Gunk Shot.

In particular, Bronzong is quite bothersome for Diancie, as it walls its STABs STAB attacks and is immune to Earth Power thanks to Levitate. However, all of these Steel-types lack a form of reliable recovery, (comma) make them able to be making them easily overwhelmed over the course of a battle. Although, Both Bronzong and Registeel take a lot of damage from +2 Body Press and +1 Earth Power, respectively, (since zong is immune to ep) so after some chip damage, Diancie can beat them in either of these conditions. (there are no conditions stated + make sure to keep the period)

**Ground-types**: Flygon, Swampert, (comma) and Gastrodon are also trouble for Diancie, as similarly to Steel-types, they threaten Diancie out with their Ground-type STAB attacks and can take advantage of that it by setting up entry hazards. (remove double space) If Diancie is Diancie's running Moonblast, it can somewhat damage them touch them somewhat; (semicolon) otherwise but if its not, it Diancie is an almost free switch-in for them, as Earth Power or and Body Press isn't aren't doing enough to threaten them. (period)

**Water-types**: Offensive or defensive Defensive Water-types such as Inteleon, Basculegion, (comma) and Vaporeon can all threaten Diancie with their STAB attacks STABs. Inteleon, Vaporeon and Basculegion They can also use Diancie for momentum and (remove extra space) pivot with U-turn or Flip Turn respectively, and they can even force Diancie to Terastallize Terastalize or switch out Switch out. Inteleon and Basculegion both cannot deal with Diancie when under Trick Room effect, as they get defeated before they can act get to do something.

**Grass-types Types**: Offensive Grass-types such as Torterra and Tsareena do also make progress against and threaten Diancie; however, they can't comfortably switch in on offensive sets but can in defensive ones. Torterra and Tsareena force forces Diancie to switch Switch out or Terastallize, and the latter can even remove its Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin. Both of those mons Pokemon can't defeat Diancie when in Trick Room, as they get KOed KO'ed first by +1 Moonblast
