Choice Band (Annihilape) @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 236 Atk / 20 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat / Drain Punch
- Gunk Shot
- Shadow Claw / Phantom Force
- Outrage / Earthquake / Fire Punch / Seed Bomb / Counter

[SET COMMENTS]
* Gunk Shot helps Annihilape beat Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Azumarill.
* Shadow Claw is helpful for dealing immediate damage to Volcarona and Bulk Up Annihilape.
* Phantom Force can also be run in order to beat common Protect users like Gardevoir and some Espathra.
* Close Combat is Annihilape's strongest STAB move, letting it dent Corviknight.
* Drain Punch prevents Annihilape from lowering its defensive stats versus Substitute users like Speed Booster Energy Roaring Moon.
* Outrage beats Dragon-types like Goodra, most Haxorus, and Walking Wake.
* Seed Bomb, Fire Punch, Earthquake, and Counter can be used over Outrage but are generally considered worse moves as they only hit a limited number of Pokemon, like Gastrodon, Scizor, Clodsire, and Iron Hands, respectively.
* The Special Defense EVs allow Annihilape to survive one Hydro Pump from Modest Choice Specs Iron Bundle.
* Against most foes, use the attack that will deal the most damage. It is important to note Weakness Policy users like Magnezone, which Annihilape should not use super effective attacks against to avoid activating its item.

Choice Band (Annihilape) @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 236 Atk / 20 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat / Drain Punch (adding drain punch as a slash as it has a notable niche)
- Gunk Shot
- Shadow Claw / Phantom Force
- Outrage / Earthquake / Fire Punch / Seed Bomb / Counter

[SET COMMENTS]
* Gunk Shot helps Annihilape to beat Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Azumarill.
* Shadow Claw and Phantom Force are 2 Ghost-type STAB moves, the first have less power, but doesnt need 2 turns to hit, while the second is stronger but take 2 turns. (it's obvious to see one has more power and 2 turns, but you want to specify why/what you would run each for instead of just being vague)
*Shadow Claw is helpful for doing immediate damage, which is helpful versus Volcarona and Skeledirge.
*Phantom Force can also be ran in order to beat common Protect users like Gardevoir and some Espathra. It also helps versus Choice Band Dragapult, as Annihilape is able to land a slower Phantom Force, securing the OHKO.

(add a part for CC here i'll add the drain punch one since i added it to the set)
*Drain Punch allows Annihilape to not lower its defensive stats versus Substitute users like Speed Booster Energy Iron Bundle and Speed Booster Energy Roaring Moon.
* Outrage beats Dragon-types Pokemon like Goodra, Garchomp (cb chomp just rolls this so I wouldn't include it) most Haxorus (cb wins) and Walking Wake.
*Earthquake help
s to win against Bellibolt and Clodsire. Magnezone, (as annihilape it's better to use ghost STAB since zone commonly runs WP. clod fits better)
*Seed Bomb is for Gastrodon,
while Fire Punch for handles Scizor. (if you have any other examples for either move add those since these seem not worth mentioning atm) and Counter for Great Tusk. (this is only kinda beating cb so i'd find another example)
* The Spd Special Defense EVs allow Annihilape to tank survive one Hydro Pump from Choice Specs Iron Bundle., other EVs are maxed. (you only really need to mention the benchmarks for spreads, remaining evs are usually self explanatory)
* Against most opponents, just use the attack that will deal the most amount of damage. It is important to note Weakness Policy users like Magnezone, in which you should use neutral attacks in order to avoid activating the item. Just click the move wich do the most amount of damages (just reworded + added zone) no worries against counter Pokemon, because Annihilape is a Ghost-type (people reading this probably know ghost is immune to fighting)

* Gunk Shot helps Annihilape beat Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Azumarill.
*[Space]Shadow Claw is helpful for doing immediate damage, which is helpful versus Volcarona, and to win against Bulk Up Annihilape.
*[Space]Phantom Force can also be ran in order to beat common Protect users like Gardevoir and some Espathra. It also helps versus Choice Band Dragapult, as Annihilape is able to land a slower Phantom Force, securing the OHKO. Choice Band Dragapult's Outrage is able to OHKO Annihilape before you vanish with Phantom Force. Additionally, all Dragapult sets can beat CB Annihilape with Specs being the only one that isn't a guarantee, so there isn't any point in swapping the set.
* Close Combat is the stronger Annihilape STAB, and can OHKO Ting-Lu and Wo-Chien. It only has a 12.5% chance to OHKO WP Ting-Lu (87.5% vs. CB) and a 25% chance to OHKO Wo-Chien, please find better examples.
*[Space]Drain Punch allows Annihilape to not lower its defensive stats versus Substitute users like Speed Booster Energy Iron Bundle and Speed Booster Energy Roaring Moon. Iron Bundle doesn't run Substitute on any of its sets afaik, it isn't a great example. A better example, if you wish to include another, would be SubSeed Meowscarada, though you really only need one example for this since it's a smaller niche.
* Outrage beats Dragon-types like Goodra, most Haxorus and Walking Wake.
*[Space]Earthquake helps against Bellibolt and Clodsire. Turns out that Earthquake doesn't OHKO any Bellibolt due to its high [invested] HP, and half of its sets are able to revenge with Thunder thanks to Electromorphosis. I would mention something along the lines of it not being a guaranteed win against some Bellibolt because of the above.
*[Space)Seed Bomb is for Gastrodon, while Fire Punch handles Scizor, and Counter is useful against Iron Hands.
* The Special Defense EVs allow Annihilape to survive one Hydro Pump from Modest Choice Specs Iron Bundle.
* Against most opponents, just use the attack that will deal the most amount of damage. It is important to note Weakness Policy users like Magnezone, in which you should use neutral attacks in order to avoid activating the item.

wanted to note this from the amcheck and make sure the info is correct. this is 252 speed ape so you're always going to be faster than bellibolt and that means it will always have to survive an eq, so idt you can say "respectively" here. if it's running lo, you still need to survive eq to kill it back with thunder. what needs to be changed is clarification on "if it's sitrus annihilpate cannot kill" because either way belli has to take a hit - what differentiates the sets?

So QCers missed this, but you're only beating Clear Amulet Bellibolt and even that is a 6.3% roll in Annihilape's favour with this set.

I would change the entire slashes section to something to the effect of "Seed Bomb, Fire Punch, Earthquake, and Counter can be used over Outrage, but are generally considered worse moves as they only hit a limited number of Pokemon, like Gastrodon, Scizor, Clodsire, and Iron Hands, respectively." I don't think you need to have three bullet points for a slash. I'd also suggest that in the set, you could just make that last slash Outrage and mention all of this in the set comments.

You should definitely run this through GP (at least informally) one more time after that change though.
