[OVERVIEW]
Quagsire is one of the best recipients of a Speed or Special Defense boost from Baton Pass in GSC UU. Getting either boost allows it to set up Belly Drum more easily against many foes and become a fearsome offensive threat that can sweep teams on the spot. Quagsire's great typing gives it only a single weakness to Grass and an Electric immunity without the usual weakness to Ice or Water. Quagsire also fits outside of Baton Pass teams, as it can do well as a Belly Drum sweeper with paralysis support. However, Quagsire struggles against Haze users due to its terrible Speed, even being outsped at +2 by Haze Crobat. Quagsire also lacks many resistances, meaning that some of the most common attacks of the tier, such as Nidoqueen's Earthquake, Hypno's Psychic, and Blastoise's Surf, do enough damage to discourage it from setting up. Due to its low Speed and reliance on Belly Drum for power, it is easy to revenge kill if it has not received a Speed boost. Quagsire's defensive utility is also questionable, as it cannot run RestTalk without sacrificing coverage or a boosting move, and it is outclassed as a mixed RestTalk user by Piloswine, which sports a superior STAB combination and higher Attack.

Set Description
=========
This set works best as a Baton Pass recipient, utilizing boosts to set up with Belly Drum and more consistently sweep. It can also work outside of Baton Pass teams as a bulky setup sweeper that appreciates Heal Bell and paralysis support. Belly Drum is Quagsire's biggest asset, allowing it to do massive damage. Earthquake's STAB and high-Base Power make it a fantastic attack for a Belly Drum user, as it allows Quagsire to deal much more damage both before and after boosting than competing Belly Drum users such as Politoed and Poliwrath. It can threaten Pokemon such as Qwilfish, Nidoqueen, and Haunter significantly even before Belly Drum. After a Belly Drum, Quagsire has a small chance to OHKO even Slowbro, one of the most physically bulky Pokemon available. Hidden Power Rock targets Flying-types that otherwise wall Quagsire such as Scyther, Crobat, and Jumpluff, as well as Pinsir. Sludge Bomb gives coverage for the likes of Bellossom, which otherwise walls Quagsire. Alternatively, Amnesia allows Quagsire to set up on Hypno and Slowbro more reliably and can make Quagsire much more difficult to finish off. It is especially useful when Quagsire is forced to use Belly Drum when under 50% health. Finally, Protect is a solid option, as it allows Quagsire more Leftovers recovery and a way to block Explosion from the likes of Electrode and Haunter. However, remember that dropping Sludge Bomb for these options leaves Quagsire totally walled by Bellossom.

Team Options
========
A Baton Pass user is a great option if you plan on running Quagsire. Girafarig can pass a crucial Speed boost with Agility as well as defensive boosts with Amnesia or Curse, which can make it easier to set up. Scyther can supply Speed and Attack boosts, which immediately enhances Quagsire's offensive power. However, Scyther's lack of immediate power leaves it more susceptible to Haze users. Mr. Mime is another useful Baton Pass teammate, as it can threaten Haze users, set up with Barrier, induce paralysis, and lock foes into setup moves with Encore. Politoed and Poliwrath are other good Baton Pass recipients that can assist Quagsire by using Lovely Kiss on Haze users such as Qwilfish, preventing them from ruining a potential sweep. Hypno is also a good teammate, as it can spread paralysis to Quagsire's checks and potentially absorb status. Jumpluff and Bellossom can also spread paralysis. Granbull appreciates the paralysis support that is often paired with Quagsire and can use Lovely Kiss on checks such as Haze Qwilfish.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Rest allows Quagsire to extend its longevity on its own. Heal Bell support from Pokemon such as Chansey and Granbull can let it pull off multiple Belly Drums in one match. However, Rest is more or less wasted on Baton Pass-oriented teams, where Quagsire is meant to go all out on sweeping. Curse can also be run over Belly Drum to maintain HP while still getting an offensive boost, and it also offers a bulk boost. However, it does not give Quagsire the immediate power it needs to sweep, and it can be difficult to break through bulky foes such as Slowbro before being forced to use Rest. Ice Beam and Surf allow Quagsire to threaten foes such as Piloswine and Jumpluff without having to set up. However, Quagsire is generally outclassed by Piloswine in this role.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Haze Users**: Haze can be a huge issue for Quagsire, as it removes the boosts that make Quagsire so powerful. Crobat can outspeed Quagsire at +2 and can switch in safely to use Haze. Qwilfish and Omastar, although taking major damage from Earthquake, outspeed a Quagsire without any Speed boosts and can stop a sweep with Haze.

**Encore Users**: Encore users such as Jumpluff, Mr. Mime, and Kadabra can come in on an unboosted Quagsire or a Baton Pass teammate and ruin Quagsire's sweep by forcing either one out. Shuckle gets a special mention, as it can survive any hit from +6 Quagsire and lock it into a move, which is generally enough to end a sweep.

**Granbull**: Curse variants of Granbull can use Curse on the turn that an Agility-boosted Quagsire uses Belly Drum, survive an Earthquake, and KO it back with Return. However, Granbull cannot beat Quagsire if it switches in on the turn Quagsire uses Belly Drum.

**Slowbro**: Slowbro can take most of Quagsire's hits, even tanking a +6 Earthquake around 90% of the time, and deal a significant amount of damage back with Surf, revenge killing after chip damage in tandem with Belly Drum recoil.

**Gligar**: Gligar stands up to any attack +6 Quagsire throws at it and can use Counter to OHKO in return.

**Electrode**: Electrode can outspeed Quagsire, even at +2, and revenge kill it with Explosion.

**Grass-type Coverage**: Quagsire's 4x weakness to Grass-type moves, as well as its somewhat below average Special Defense stat, means that it is vulnerable to most Grass-type coverage. Electabuzz can surprise Quagsire with Hidden Power Grass and KO it after a Belly Drum. Bellossom can OHKO Quagsire with its Hidden Power Grass. However, it has to watch out for Sludge Bomb sets.

[OVERVIEW]

Quagsire fulfills a solid role in the GSC UU metagame as one of the best beneficiaries of Baton Pass teams. Getting a boost in either Special Defense or Speed depending on the passer allows it to set up Belly Drum easier against many opponents, which lets it become a fearsome offensive threat, being able to break many top threats, such as Nidoqueen, Qwilfish, and Hypno. However, Quagsire has apparent flaws that prevent it from consistently being viable. Most importantly, it struggles against Hazers such as Crobat due to its lack of immediate power without the enabling that Baton Pass gives Quagsire to set up. It is also quite slow without boosts, as base 35 Speed is terrible, leaving it outsped by a plentiful amount of the meta. Also, due to relying on Belly Drum for power, it is easy to revenge kill. Overall, Quagsire is quite a solid Pokemon and a noteworthy threat in the GSC UU metagame.
I’d say it’s one of the best Agility pass beneficiaries instead of Baton Pass, as this might be confusing. Mention that Quag OHKOs most of the tier at +6. The sentence “However, Quagsire has apparent flaws that prevent it from consistently being viable” should be reworded, as it implies Quagsire is some gimmicky NU mon.

I would mention that Quagsire is decent on non BP teams as well. It does have a great typing and STAB EQ is generally really powerful in GSC UU. Quagsire is hard to fit, though, as it can’t run RestTalk effectively meaning you want to pair it with Heal Bell support most of the time. I’ve used a few semi stall teams with Drum Quagsire for offensive pressure. Example

[SET]
name: Belly Drum
move 1: Belly Drum
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Hidden Power Rock
move 4: Rest
item: Leftovers
Rest is not used on Drum Quagsire outside of using it on non BP teams, so I think it should be in OO. Quagsire is meant to sweep when it gets passed Agility and Rest is just a dead slot. Amnesia(which can let you setup on Hypno, Slowking, and Slowbro), Sludge Bomb(hits Bellossom who otherwise can stop Quag), and Protect(can give extra Leftovers recovery and stop boom) should be the slashes in this slot in my opinion.

SET DESCRIPTION
=========

This set is meant to set up with Belly Drum after obtaining boosts from Baton Passers that enable Quagsire. Belly Drum will be your biggest asset, as it allows Quagsire to truly do some fearful damage. Earthquake will be your main attack, as it provides a powerful STAB option that is able to hit many notable threats, including Electabuzz, Hypno, and Nidoqueen. Hidden Power Rock is for additional coverage, mainly against Flying-types that otherwise wall Quagsire. Finally, Rest is useful for recovery, which greatly lengthens Quagsire’s longetivity.
Mention the moves I suggested to slash. I’d also mention the non BP teams use(bulky setup sweeper that’s good with para+bell support)

Team Options
========

A Baton Passer is a great option if you plan on running Quagsire. Girafarig is able to supply a bulk boost with Amnesia-passing, which can make it easier to set up against a good amount of the meta. Scyther can supply Agility boosts, which can further enable Quagsire’s offensive power. Hypno is also a good team mate, as it is able to pivot in on special attackers who would otherwise threaten Quagsire out. Granbull is able to come in on any sleep users and abuse their sleep with Sleep Talk. Paralysis support from the likes of Jumpluff and Hypno also helps out, as it allows Quagsire to be able to truly outspeed things.
Mention that Hypno can support Quagsire well with screens and TWave. I’d also mention Bellossom and Mr. Mime in the paralysis spreading part. Heal Bell support from Chansey and Granbull should be mentioned as well.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Sludge Bomb can be used for additional coverage outside your STAB, as well as the ability to be able to hit Grass-types that resist your coverage. You can also run Curse over Belly Drum for the ability to maintain your HP while still getting the offensive boost, as well as a bulk boost. However, it does not give Quagsire the immediate power it needs to become a threat. It also lowers his already pitiful speed, which means that you cannot pass Speed to it as well as Belly Drum sets.
After you remove Sludge Bomb from here this looks fine.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Hazers**: Haze can be a huge boon for Quagsire, as it more or less removes the boosts that make it so powerful. Fast Hazers that can safely switch in such as Crobat are able to invalidate Quagsire’s attempts to sweep, although Crobat has to be wary of a +6 Hidden Power Rock.

**Physically-Defensive Pokemon**: Slowbro is able to take most of Quagsire’s hits, even at +6, and can Rest off any major damage done to it. It can also wear it down with its STABs, and force a Rest. Gligar stands up to any attack Quagsire throws at it and is able to Counter and OHKO Quagsire in return.

**Electrode**: Electrode gets a special mention, as it is able to outspeed Quagsire, even at +2, and can revenge kill it with Explosion.

**Grass-type coverage**: Quagsire’s quadrupled weakness to Grass-type moves, as well as a somewhat below average Special Defense stat means that Quagsire is vulnerable to most Grass-type coverage within the tier. Electabuzz is able to surprise Quagsire with Hidden Power Grass, and KO it after a Belly Drum. Bellossom can OHKO Quagsire with its Hidden Power Grass. However, it has to watch out for Sludge Bomb variants.
I’d give mention to Encore users like Jumpluff, Mr. Mime and Kadabra here. They can be stop Quagsire from setting up.

QC 1/2 when done.

[OVERVIEW]
Quagsire fulfills a solid role in the GSC UU metagame as one of the best beneficiaries of Agility + Baton Pass. Getting a boost in either Special Defense or Speed depending on the passer allows it to set up Belly Drum easier against many opponents, which lets it become a fearsome offensive threat, being able to break many top threats, such as Nidoqueen, Qwilfish, and Hypno.
The second sentence here makes it sound like receiving a Special Defense boost is something done commonly and as an alternative to Speed boosts, whereas in my experience, Belly Drum Quagsire needs the Speed boost a lot more than it needs the Special Defense boost (though ideally it will get both). Also, considering the only Amnesia passer is also the tier's best Agility passer, I think it is also misleading to say "depending on the passer".

"Breaking many threats" is underselling Quagsire at +6 as well, you can pretty much say it sweeps most teams if it gets to set up when at +2 Speed. There is no need to specify any particular threats when it OHKOes nearly everything, except maybe the ones that aren't OHKOed at +6 Attack or outsped at +2 Speed.

Quagsire also fits outside of Baton Pass teams, due to its great typing giving it access to STAB Earthquake. However, Quagsire struggles against Hazers such as Crobat due to its lack of immediate power without the enabling that Baton Pass gives Quagsire to set up. It is also quite slow without boosts, as base 35 Speed is terrible, leaving it outsped by a plentiful amount of the meta. Due to relying on Belly Drum for power, it is easy to revenge kill. Quagsire is also difficult to fit on teams, since it is unable to run RestTalk efficiently.
I feel like most of this is fairly misleading. The first sentence should probably focus on its few weaknesses and Electric immunity without a weakness to Ice. The second sentence, if I didn't know better, would make me think that Crobat is only a problem when Quagsire isn't receiving boosts, but Crobat is actually one of two Pokemon that outspeed Quagsire at +2 Speed. Quagsire's biggest issues are its lack of resistances and low Speed--it takes a lot from STAB Psychic, STAB Earthquake, STAB Return, and STAB Surf, which are some of the most common attacks in the tier, and this makes it hard to set up without the Speed boost. However, Hazers are obviously somewhat of a problem as well. You are also right that it lacks unboosted power--in particular, its coverage options are very weak due to a poor movepool and low Special Attack. It is outclassed by Pokemon like Slowbro and Piloswine as a RestTalker, but it does fit well with Belly Drum on paralysis teams.

Set Description
=========
Earthquake will be your main attack, as it provides a powerful STAB option that is able to hit many notable threats, including Electabuzz, Hypno, and Nidoqueen.
This sentence can be substantially shortened because a lot of this information is extremely obvious. I'd focus on two things when talking about Earthquake: its effectiveness pre- and post-Drum. Pre-Drum it still threatens stuff like Haunter, Qwilfish, and Nidoqueen pretty well, but it does next to nothing to something like RestTalk Slowbro or Blastoise. At +6, it even has a chance of OHKOing Slowbro, which is one of the bulkiest Pokemon you're likely to encounter in the tier.

Hidden Power Rock is for additional coverage, mainly against Flying-types that otherwise wall Quagsire.
Give examples (Scyther, Jumpluff, Crobat, Gligar). Mention Pinsir as well.
Amnesia allows Quagsire to set up on Hypno, Nidoqueen, and Slowbro more reliably. Finally, Protect is a solid option, as it allows Quagsire more Leftovers recovery, as well as a way to block Explosion from the likes of Electrode and Haunter.
Amnesia is useless against Nidoqueen. Mention that these are alternatives to Sludge Bomb and that means getting walled by Bellossom.

It's also important to mention the Belly Drum glitch here that allows Quagsire to potentially turn things around at sub50% health.

Team Options
========

A Baton Passer is a great option if you plan on running Quagsire. Girafarig is able to supply a bulk boost with Amnesia-passing, which can make it easier to set up against a good amount of the meta. Scyther can supply Agility boosts, which can further enable Quagsire’s offensive power.
Girafarig is a much, much better Agility passer than Scyther and it should be mentioned in this context first and foremost. Scyther is much more susceptible to Hazers as an Agility passer because it is weak before it sets up Swords Dance, whereas Girafarig has STAB Psychic and / or Thunder to give them a beating. You should also mention some more common Baton Pass Pokemon such as Mr. Mime.
Hypno is also a good team mate, as it is able to pivot in on special attackers who would otherwise threaten Quagsire out.
This sentence doesn't make any sense. If Hypno is pivoting in, Quagsire has been threatened out, presumably. It's still a good teammate though.
Granbull is able to come in on any sleep users and abuse their sleep with Sleep Talk. Paralysis support from the likes of Jumpluff and Hypno also helps out, as it allows Quagsire to be able to truly outspeed things.
This could be reorganised a bit. Granbull can also be an offensive threat that benefits a lot from paralysis, especially with its Curse HP Ground set. Granbull can also potentially LK something like Haze Qwilfish for Quagsire. Bellossom and Jumpluff also offer Stun Spore support and can be included.
Heal Bell support from Pokemon such as Chansey and Granbull is helpful towards Quagsire, as it allows Quagsire to ignore status such as Toxic.
I wouldn't say it can "ignore" Toxic. Toxic is very uncommon in the metagame anyway because of all the RestTalkers and Nidoqueen. To be honest, you can probably drop the Heal Bell support part if you are dropping Rest as a slash. I would not mind including it though, since Rest + Heal Bell support seems like a viable strategy for Quagsire teams.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Rest allows Quagsire to extend its longevity on its own. However, Rest is more or less a waste on Baton Pass-oriented teams, as Quagsire is meant to sweep on these kinds of teams. Curse can also be ran over Belly Drum for the ability to maintain its HP while still getting the offensive boost, as well as a bulk boost. However, it does not give Quagsire the immediate power it needs to become a threat. It also lowers his already pitiful speed, which means that you cannot pass Speed to it as well as Belly Drum sets.
You should probably mention Ice Beam and Surf in here, even though it is mostly outclassed by Piloswine as a mixed attacker. Curse Quagsire is a threat, but all the strong neutral special attacks in the tier can make it tricky to use, and it has the issue of having to pick between coverage and Sleep Talk, which means it is disadvantaged against Curse Granbull. SD Scyther existing also makes mono-attacking Quagsire a big risk.

Checks and Counters
===================

I am not sure that "boon" is the right word to use here. It should be mentioned that Crobat outspeeds +2 Quagsire. Qwilfish and Omastar can be mentioned, even though they are weak to Earthquake, since they survive Earthquake and can Haze away the potential Speed boosts that could have been passed. It might be worth mentioning phazers here too, even though they are uncommon.

**Encore users**: Encore from the likes of Jumpluff, Mr. Mime, and Kadabra can ruin Quagsire’s sweep as they are able to stop Quagsire from setting up, and are able to force it out.
There are two individual scenarios to talk about here, the Quagsire with no boosts and the Quagsire with Speed boosts. If they are fighting the Speed boost version, they need to make sure they are coming in on the turn that the Baton Passer uses Baton Pass, so that Quagsire cannot set up +6 Attack without getting Encored. If they are fighting the version with no Speed boost, they can just switch into Quagsire whenever they expect the Drum. The exception to this is Shuckle, which lives any +6 attack from Quagsire and can lock it into something, which is probably enough to stop the sweep. So you can add a Shuckle mention.

No hyphen after "-ly" words. There's not much point in living a +6 Earthquake and using Rest, so what you want to do here is say that it lives +6 Earthquake around 90% of the time and can deal a significant amount back with Surf, meaning that if Quagsire has been chipped while using Drum, it can revenge KO. I don't think "Physically Defensive Pokemon" is the best way to express this category, because most physically defensive Pokemon are OHKOed. Just have separate Slowbro and Gligar categories.

Might be worth mentioning Curse Granbull here. If it uses Curse on the same turn Quagsire uses Belly Drum, it will survive the +6 Earthquake from full health and KO in return with Return. Similarly, if it attacks a +0 Speed Quagsire as it uses Belly Drum, it deals enough damage to KO the next turn.

Good job. The only thing I would now add is a mention of Politoed and Poliwrath in the teammates section. If the opponent has switched to a status inducer, Hazer, or Encore user, you need to go to Politoed or Poliwrath with your +2 Speed boost so that you can put them to sleep before they can ruin your sweep. So it's useful to have them as a teammate to avoid the sweep ruining.

QC 2/2 once done.

Quagsire fulfills a solid role in the GSC UU metagame as one of the best beneficiaries of Agility + or even Amnesia from Baton Pass. (not mentioning amnesia felt weird with mentioning SpD boost in next sentence. feel free to tinker, eg by removing "even" or smth like "beneficiaries of Speed or even Special Defense boosts from") Getting a boost in either Speed or Special Defense either boost allows it to set up Belly Drum easier more easily against many foes, which lets it become a fearsome offensive threat (RC) being able to sweep teams on the spot. Quagsire's great typing gives it only a single weakness to Grass and an Electric immunity without the usual weakness to Ice or Water. Quagsire also fits outside of Baton Pass teams, as it can do well as a Belly Drum sweeper with paralysis support. However, Quagsire struggles against Haze users due to its terrible Speed, even being outsped at +2 Speed by Haze Crobat. This set works best as a Baton Pass recipient, utilizing boosts to allow itself to set up with Belly Drum and sweep. It can also work outside of Baton Pass teams as a bulky setup sweeper that appreciates Heal Bell and paralysis support. Belly Drum is Quagsire's biggest asset, as it allows Quagsire it to do some fearful damage. Earthquake's STAB and (cuz ptoed doesnt have a stab bdrum move at all. lmk if im missing smth) high Base Power makes it a fantastic STAB attack for a Belly Drum user, as it allows Quagsire to deal much more damage both before and after boosting than competing Belly Drum users such as Politoed and Poliwrath. It can threaten Pokemon such as Qwilfish, Nidoqueen, and Haunter significantly even before it uses Belly Drum. After a Belly Drum, Quagsire has a small chance to OHKO even Slowbro, one of the most physically defensive Pokemon available. Hidden Power Rock is for coverage, mainly against Flying-types that otherwise wall Quagsire such as Scyther, Crobat, and Jumpluff, but also against Pinsir. Sludge Bomb allows Quagsire to have gives coverage for the likes of Bellossom, which otherwise walls it. Amnesia allows Quagsire to set up on Hypno and Slowbro more reliably and can make Quagsire much more difficult to finish off. This It is especially useful when Quagsire cannot afford to sacrifice half its health to use Belly Drum and must instead try to gain +2 Attack by is forced to accept Belly Drum's lower +2 boost from (I imagine this checks out? lmk if nuance is missed or smth) using it when under 50% health. Finally, Protect is a solid option, as it allows Quagsire more Leftovers recovery (RC) as well as and a way to block Explosion from the likes of Electrode and Haunter. However, it should be noted remember that dropping Sludge Bomb for these options will result in being leaves Quagsire totally walled by Bellossom.

A Baton Pass user is a great option if you plan on running Quagsire. Girafarig can pass a crucial Speed boost with Agility as well as defensive boosts with Amnesia or Curse, which can make it easier to set up. Scyther can supply Speed and Attack boosts, which can further immediately enhance Quagsire's offensive power. However, Scyther's lack of immediate power leaves it more susceptible to Haze users. Mr. Mime is another useful Baton Pass teammate, as it can threaten Haze users, set up with Barrier, induce paralysis, and lock foes into setup moves with Encore. Politoed and Poliwrath are other good Baton Pass recipients that can assist Quagsire by using Lovely Kiss on Haze users such as Qwilfish, (AC) to prevent preventing them from ruining a potential sweep. from Baton Passers, (if this bit was supposed to be somewhere else, do whatever's appropriate) Hypno is also a good teammate, as it can spread paralysis to Quagsire's checks and potentially act as a status absorber. Jumpluff and Bellossom can also fulfill the role of paralysis spreader to assist Quagsire. spread paralysis. Granbull also appreciates the paralysis support that is often seen paired with Quagsire and can use Lovely Kiss on checks such as Haze Qwilfish. If Quagsire is using Rest, Heal Bell support from Pokemon such as Chansey and Granbull is helpful as it could allow Quagsire to pull off multiple Belly Drums in one match.

Rest allows Quagsire to extend its longevity on its own. Heal Bell support from Pokemon such as Chansey and Granbull can let it pull off multiple Belly Drums in one match. (feel free to tinker if this sentence feels awkward to just drop in here) However, Rest is more or less wasted on Baton Pass-oriented teams, as where Quagsire is meant to go all-out (added hyphen) on sweeping on these kinds of teams. Curse can also be run over Belly Drum for the ability to maintain its HP while still getting an offensive boost, and it also offers a bulk boost. However, it does not give Quagsire the immediate power it needs to sweep, and it can be difficult to break through bulky foes such as Slowbro before being forced to use Rest. Ice Beam and Surf can be used on Quagsire to allow it allow Quagsire to threaten foes such as Piloswine and Jumpluff without having to set up. However, it is generally outclassed by Piloswine in this role.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Haze Users**: Haze can be a huge issue for Quagsire, as it removes the boosts that make it so powerful. Crobat can outspeed Quagsire at +2 and can switch in safely, (AC) unless it is using Hidden Power Rock, and can invalidate Quagsire's attempts to sweep to use Haze. Qwilfish and Omastar, although taking major damage from Earthquake, outspeed a Quagsire without any Speed boosts and can stop a sweep with Haze.

**Encore Users**: Encore users such as Jumpluff, Mr. Mime, and Kadabra can come in on an unboosted Quagsire or a Baton Passing teammate and ruin Quagsire's sweep by stopping it from setting up and forcing it forcing either one (I imagine this checks out?) out. Shuckle gets a special mention, as it can survive any hit from +6 Quagsire and lock it into a move, which is generally enough to end a sweep.

**Granbull**: Curse variants of Granbull can use Curse on the turn that an Agility-boosted Quagsire uses Belly Drum, survive an Earthquake, and can KO it back with Return. However, Granbull cannot beat Quagsire if it switches in on the turn Quagsire uses Belly Drum.

**Slowbro**: Slowbro can take most of Quagsire's hits, even living a +6 Earthquake around 90% of the time, and can deal a significant amount back with Surf, meaning that after Quagsire has been chipped revenge killing it after chip damage in tandem with Belly Drum recoil, it can revenge KO.

**Gligar*: Gligar stands up to any attack Quagsire throws at it and can use Counter to OHKO Quagsire in return.

**Electrode**: Electrode can outspeed Quagsire, even at +2, and can revenge kill it with Explosion.

**Grass-type Coverage**: Quagsire's quadrupled weakness to Grass-type moves, as well as a its somewhat below average Special Defense stat, (AC) means that Quagsire it is vulnerable to most Grass-type coverage within the tier. Electabuzz can surprise Quagsire with Hidden Power Grass (RC) and KO it after a Belly Drum. Bellossom can OHKO Quagsire with its Hidden Power Grass. However, it has to watch out for Sludge Bomb variants. sets. (nitpicking rly but "variant" feels weird to describe the standard set)

[OVERVIEW]
Quagsire's defensive utility is also questionable, as it cannot run RestTalk without sacrificing coverage or a boosting move, and it is outclassed as a mixed RestTalk user by Piloswine, which sports a superior STAB combination and higher base Attack.
