Quit throwing sand at me! (Sand Stall)

Hello everyone! I have been playing on the Smogon server on Pokemon Online for about two months now. I have done everything from UU, to RU, to Ubers, and now I am back in OU with Sand Stall. After some trial and error, I finally found one that works amazingly. I tend to be very unorthodox with my sets and EV spreads, so if they seem too weird, please don't hesitate to make me aware. The following sets have worked well so far. I may only be 13, but don't underestimate me! Now with the team...[/SIZE]

Tyranitar-Sand Stream
252 HP/4 Att./252 Sp. Def.
Nature: Careful Item: Leftovers
Stealth Rock
Pursuit/Roar
Crunch
Superpower

Probably the least original set I have. However, It is an extremely effective special wall. Stealth Rock is a given, making it much easier to stall. Crunch and Superpower have great coverage, but I was wondering if a Specially Defensive TyraniBoah would be viable, since Superpower is very crippling, and it would possibly stall better. I don't like Pursuit very much, because it's main targets are Reuniclus, Alakazam, and Gengar. Any experienced player would not run from a Tyranitar; they would try and deal damage with Focus Blast. That's why I've considered switching to Roar or another supporting move. All in all, not the greatest Pokemon on my team, but it does have great synergy with my next Pokemon...

Gliscor-Poison Heal
252 HP/184 Def/72 Speed
Nature: Impish Item: Toxic Orb
Substitute
Protect
Toxic
Earthquake

This is my teams MVP, stalling out a huge portion of the metagame, including Special Attackers. To put it into perspective, I once went against a Choice locked Shadow Ball Gengar and won, which gave me the victory. It's that good. Substitute and Protect form one of the most annoying combos ever, rivaling SubSeed. Toxic allows it to break down non-Steel walls, such as Blissey, Gastrodon, and non Hydration Vaporeon. Earthquake is mainly for STAB and makes Gliscor not totally Taunt bait. Gliscor has wonderful synergy with Tyranitar, taking the Fighting and Ground attacks headed towards Tyranitar, and Tyranitar takes all Special Attacks (except for Focus Blast) with ease.

Jirachi-Serene Grace
196 HP/56 Def./252 Speed
Nature: Timid Item: Leftovers
Substitute
Calm Mind
Thundebolt
Water Pulse/Hidden Power Ice

There she/it is. The greatest SubCM user in OU. Her many resistances and fantastic special bulk after a Calm Mind allow her to take the Water attacks that Gliscor and Tyranitar can't. Calm Mind and Substitute are the cruxes of this set, allowing Jirachi to become absurdly powerful and bulky at the same time, while being able to hide behind a sub. Thunderbolt does a ton of damage to those who don't resist it. I have trouble deciding the last slot. Water Pulse as a nifty chance of Confusion with Serene Grace, but Hidden Power Ice allows me obtain psuedo BoltBeam coverage. The EVs allow me to take a few physical hits so I can have more chances to set up. I don't really need to make 404 HP subs because I wouldn't switch into Blissey anyway, which is honestly the only Pokemon in OU who uses Seismic Toss.

Conkledurr-Guts
100 HP/252 Att./156 Sp. Def
Nature: Adamant Item: Leftovers
Bulk Up
Payback
Mach Punch
Drain Punch

Have any of you seriously seen any other Conkledurr? This is all it needs to function in OU. Bulk Up raises it's Defense and Attack so it's bulky as hell and dishes out incredible damage. Has anyone wielded a +6 Guts boosted Conkledurr? Damn. Nuff said. Drain Punch and Payback get fantastic coverage and Mach Punch is amazing priority. The EVs may seem a little strange, but I felt it needed more special bulk, and this spread should honestly be on the main site. I also really like that it functions really well with Jirachi, as Jirachi takes Conkledurrs Psychic and Flying weakness and Conkledurr takes the Physical Super Effective attacks aimed at Jirachi.

Magnezone-Magnet Pull
36 HP/252 Sp. Att./220 Speed
Nature: Timid Item: Leftovers
Substitute
Charge Beam
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Fire

SubCharge Magnezone is one of the most underrated sweepers in OU. The plan usually goes I send this guy in to Ferrothorn or Volt Switchless Forretress, throw up a sub, and boost with Charge Beam. Thunderbolt and Hidden Power Fire get decent coverage. +6 Magnezone can 2HKO Latias with Rocks up, which I think is awesome. So underrated and a wonderful part of my team.

Landorus-Sand Force
/252 Att./4 Sp. Att./252 Speed
Nature: Naive Item: Choice Scarf
Stone Edge
Earthquake
U-Turn
Hidden Power Ice

I usually send this guy in late-game so it can pick off Pokemon the rest of the team had weakened. The coveted EdgeQuake combo is further boosted by Sand Force making it a lethal offensive threat. Hidden Power is basically used for opposing Landorus, Gliscor, and Dragon types. The EVs and nature are mainly for maximum offensive power.

So there's my team! Help is appreciated. The only Pokemon I really want to keep is Gliscor. Any other changes will be tested. If adding sprites would make this a more enjoyable RMT, please tell me how to add them because I have no idea how. Thanks again!

You seem to have no really safe switchs for powerful water attacks, i suggest you replace either magnezone or jirachi for a grass type pokemon like ferrothorn or maybe rotom-w.
But over all its quite a solid team and i cant really find anything wrong with it

As Cyberthorn mentioned, you currently lack a water resist. Now, a team without a water resist in a metagame where rain is everywhere is just criminal - hell, most teams will be running two. You say that you use Jirachi to sponge water attacks, but without a resistance it's going to have great difficulty switching into strong Hydro Pumps, especially in the rain.
I honestly don't think Magnezone is doing a lot for this team. You have no Pokemon that really benefit from Steel types being removed, and as far as boosting sweepers go it's pretty mediocre compared to what you could be using. Substitute+Calm Mind Latias is still fully capable of setting up all over Ferrothorn and Forretress, but adds a strong specially-defensive presence that is capable of running through many teams after a few boosts. It also does a good job of beating the Scizor+Rotom-W Volt-Turn core that is very popular at the moment and gives your team some problems due to the afomentioned lack of a water resist. Latias can use Substitute to shield herself from Scizor's u-turn while setting up Calm Minds on Rotom-W. Combined with Jirachi, Latias forms a solid SubCM core capable of breaking down most teams after a few boosts. Additionally, Latias alleviates a minor weakness to Choice Band Dragons such as Haxorus and Dragonite - they can pick off Jirachi with Earthquake or Fire Punch and then proceed to spam strong Outrages and smash holes in your team. Latias may not be able to comfortably switch in, but will do a large amount of damage to both Pokemon with Dragon Pulse and handily outruns both. Here is the set:

Latias @ Leftovers | Levitate
252 HP / 252 Spe Timid
Calm Mind / Substitute / Dragon Pulse / Roost

With two Pokemon using Substitute+Calm Mind, you would see a lot of benefit in carrying Toxic Spikes - most likely on some sort of Roserade. A Rose running Hidden Power Fire would also help somewhat against Scizor, a Pokemon that is irritating for this team to face. However, I'm not sure what the best way to fit Roserade in without compromising synergy somewhere is, so I guess it would be a useful Pokemon to have if you can fit it, but not a necessity.
Hope these suggestions were helpful!

Hey,

As already noted Rain will give you a hard time in part due to the team's lack of a water resist. This means that thing like Gyarados and especially Rotom-W can just go to town on most of your team, especially since they can take out Tyranitar and change the weather to their advantage. To fix this, I really think you should switch one of your members to Ferrothorn, preferably Magnezone, who doesn't really fit the build of this team. A great set for you to try would be:

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Iron Barbs | 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Spikes / Leech Seed / Power Whip / Gyro Ball or Thunder Wave

This gives you a solid switchin to many rain attackers as well as Politoed itself (this is especially useful on Choice variants). You can also pass Leech Seed to one of your team members to help stall out the opponent. Lastly, Spike support is something that you greatly take advantage of, especially with a lot of Pokemon causing switches. Hope this rate helped and good luck!

Thanks for all the rates!

Yeah I think my water weakness s pretty huge, so I think I'll try Latias. I don't really want to use Ferrothorn and I don't need to use another Physical Wall.

In terms of Gastrodon, in the early stages of making this team, I used a Hippowdon/Gastrodon core instead of Tyranitar/Gliscor, and Gastrodon was painfully underwhelming, so it got the boot.
