Basically designed a full-fledged team based on a combination of my old-school Red/Blue team (Zapdos, Gengar, Kabutops) and my old Gold / Silver team (Scizor, Gligar*, Heracross), before I knew about stats, natures EVs, etc.

It consists around stat support and speedy attack, using a combination of baton passers and rain support. Based on the people I've played, this team can handle itself fairly well

Lead:
Zapdos @ Light Clay
Bold w/ Pressure
200 HP / 52 Def / 52 SpD / 204 Spe

Rain Dance
Thunder
U-Turn
Light Screen

After using Rain, I can U-Turn into Kabutops for a quick swords/sweep, switch in Scizor with provided fire protection, or use an accurate Thunder. Light Screen would be used ideally for setting up a Baton Gliscor.

Kabutops @ Life Orb
Adamant w/ Swift Swim
112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spe

Swords Dance
Waterfall
Stone Edge
Aqua Jet

Speedy and powerful in rain or passed speed boosts. Passed swords dances would also suffice to limit wasted moves.

Gliscor @ Yache Berry
Impish w/ Hyper Cutter
252 HP / 60 Atk / 196 SpD

Rock Polish
Baton Pass
Earthquake
Roost

Ideally provided with Light Screen, it has some bulk to get some speed boosts. Earthquake for quick powerful hits.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Adamant w/ Technician
252 HP / 84 Atk / 172 Spe

Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Bullet Punch
Bug Bite

Attack Baton Passer, but also has some serious capability to do damage with boosted technician STABs. In rain, it can resist deadly fire hits.

Gengar @ Choice Specs
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Levitate
Timid

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Explosion

Quick in-and-out Gengar. Good move coverage and boosted speed would guarantee the first move.

Heracross @ Flame Orb
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Guts
Adamant

Megahorn
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Facade

Either stat boosting pass benefits Heracross, though preferably speed. Automatically activates Guts with Flame Orb, and starts sweeping. Facade is boosted to a powerful 140.

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

You need to improve on your descriptions. As of right now, your descriptions are lacking and hence, violating rule #3. Try to lengthen them more please. Have a look at some of the teams in the RMT archive to see what is expected. Aim for 5 well-formulated sentences for each of your Pokemon. Explain why you chose a Pokemon, what it does, how it contributes to the success of the team, etc. If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes; if they are sufficient enough I will unlock your thread with the edited descriptions.
