Raging Bolt @ Life Orb
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Thunderclap
- Dragon Pulse
- Solar Beam
- Weather Ball

As a near-staple on sun teams, Raging Bolt can lean further into its wallbreaking duties by utilizing an all-out attacking set with Life Orb and the high-Base Powered coverage moves in Solar Beam and sun Weather Ball. These moves grant it great super effective coverage against most of the tier when complemented by its STAB moves, as on top of hitting common foes like Garganacl, Kingambit, and Gholdengo super effectively, they more importantly let it break through its would-be checks by 2HKOing Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Galarian Slowking—one of sun team's biggrest annoyances in fact—and OHKOing even defensive Iron Treads. Moreover, foes like Cinderace, Moltres, Dragapult, and Dragonite that can handle them either fear its STAB moves or are even entry points for Raging Bolt. Tera Flying grants it a much-needed free turn against troublesome Ground-types like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and the aforementioned Iron Treads and Ting-Lu. While the usual Ninetales or Torkoal is necesssary as the sun setter, the playstyle's other threats like Walking Wake, Great Tusk, Venusaur, and Ceruledge are also similarly valuable to keep up the pressure, with the latter two capable of sweeping more easily once Raging Bolt has soften up the opposition.

As a near-staple on sun teams, Raging Bolt can lean further into its wallbreaking duties by utilizing an all-out attacking set by using high-Base Powered coverage moves in Solar Beam and sun Weather Ball. Think it would be good to readjust this a tiny bit to straight up mention Life Orb, to distinguish it a bit from Choice Specs, but this is fine on principle These moves grant it great super effective coverage against most of the tier when complemented by its STAB moves, as on top of hitting common foes like Garganacl, Kingambit, and Gholdengo super effectively, they more importantly let it break through its would-be checks by 2HKOing Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Galarian Slowking—one of sun team's biggrest annoyances in fact—and OHKOing even defensive Iron Treads. Tera Flying grants it a much-needed free turn against troublesome Ground-types like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and the aforementioned Iron Treads. If you are mentioning Iron Treads I would also mention Ting-Lu atp, since Solar Beam requires you to be at full to 2HKO, so its good in practice, up to you though While the usual Ninetales or Torkoal is necesssary as the sun setter, the playstyle's other threats like Walking Wake, Great Tusk, Venusaur, and Ceruledge are also similarly valuable to keep up the pressure, with the latter two capable of sweeping more easily once Raging Bolt has soften up the opposition.

As a near-staple near staple on sun teams, Raging Bolt can lean further into its wallbreaking duties by utilizing as an all-out attacking set attacker with Life Orb and the high-Base Powered Power coverage moves in Solar Beam and sun sun-boosted Weather Ball. These moves grant it great super effective coverage against most of the tier when complemented by its STAB moves, as on top of hitting common foes like Garganacl, Kingambit, and Gholdengo super effectively, they more importantly let it break through its would-be checks by 2HKOing Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Galarian Slowking—one of sun team's biggrest biggest annoyances, (AC) in fact—and OHKOing even defensive Iron Treads. Moreover, foes that can handle them like Cinderace, Moltres, Dragapult, and Dragonite that can handle them either fear its STAB moves or are even entry points for Raging Bolt. Tera Flying grants it a much-needed free turn against troublesome Ground-types like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and the aforementioned Iron Treads and Ting-Lu. While the usual Ninetales or Torkoal is necesssary necessary as the sun setter, the playstyle's other threats (Is there a word that more clearly indicates "viable Pokemon for this playstyle"? "threats" can imply that these Pokemon are dangerous to sun teams.) like Walking Wake, Great Tusk, Venusaur, and Ceruledge are also similarly valuable (the value these offensive allies have doesn't seem similar to the sun setters'.) to keep up the pressure, with the latter two capable of sweeping more easily once Raging Bolt has soften softened up the opposition.
