[SET COMMENTS]
Alolan Raichu's high Speed tier and excellent coverage make it a potent wallbreaker and offensive pivot. Psyshock breaks through Grass-types and special walls like Snorlax. Volt Switch exploits forced switches to checks like Snorlax. Surf and Grass Knot are used to beat Ground-types. However, Surf is preferred, as it allows Alolan Raichu to hit Steelix along with every other Ground-type except Gastrodon. Grass Knot is primarily used to hit Gastrodon, which is able to tank any other incoming attack.

Passimian is a notable teammate for Alolan Raichu, as they create a powerful VoltTurn core that beats each other's checks and counters. Slow wallbreakers like Bewear, Escavalier, and Drampa appreciate Alolan Raichu giving them safe switches with Volt Switch. Indeedee makes an excellent partner, as Psychic Terrian boosts Alolan Raichu's Psyshock and protects it from priority like Toxicroak's Sucker Punch. They also help each other weaken Steel- and Dark-types that stop them from spamming their powerful Psychic-type moves. Entry hazards limit the amount of time Alolan Raichu can freely pivot around. Therefore, Defoggers like Charizard and Silvally formes and spinners like Coalossal and Dhelmise make for great teammates. Virizion and Vileplume are great choices for switch-ins to Ground-types. Fighting-types like the aforementioned Passimian and Fairy-types like Silvally-Fairy are able to handle incoming Dark-type attacks.

Nasty Plot pushes Alolan Raichu's wallbreaking prowess even further during forced switches. +2 Psyshock 2HKOes any variant of Snorlax after Stealth Rock. No Ground-type stands a chance against the might of a boosted Grass Knot or Surf, though the former is necessary for OHKOing Gastrodon and the latter for Steelix.

Indeedee's Psychic Terrain makes Alolan Raichu even stronger and immune to priority. Nasty Plot Alolan Raichu also helps Choice Scarf Indeedee clean up late-game by beating Steel- and Dark-types like Silvally-Steel and Scrafty. Salazzle handles Ferroseed and enjoys Alolan Raichu's ability to break Snorlax, Rhydon, Coalossal, and Gastrodon. Vanilluxe is another Pokémon that appreciates Alolan Raichu beating Snorlax, Steel-types like Silvally-Steel and Escavalier, and Fire-types like Coalossal. It pairs especially well with Surf Raichu, as it preys on Gastrodon with Freeze-Dry. Pivots allow Alolan Raichu to be safely brought out, ideally against setup bait. Passimian, Silvally formes, and Rillaboom are great pivots. Passimian and Rillabom in particular can lure in Vileplume.

good work, a few concerns about the write-up but i'll leave that to GP. content is good otherwise

i'm also leaning towards no gk slash and only mention it in set details

A few easily avoidable GP issues here:
  • Missing capitalization on moves and Speed
  • VoltTurn, not Volt-turn
  • When using "as" as a substitute for "because," it must be preceded by a comma
Do your best to address the last point in particular to make GPing this a lot less tedious

Alolan Raichu's high Speed tier and excellent coverage make it a potent wallbreaker and offensive pivot. Being faster than top tier offensive threats like Virizion makes Alolan Raichu difficult to revenge kill outside of Salazzle, Boltund, and Choice Scafers. Alolan Raichu's fragility coupled with Life Orb recoil makes it very easy for it to be worn down throughout the course of the game. Thunderbolt is Alolan Raichu's strongest STAB and KOes the plethora of bulky Water-types in the tier. (this level of elaboration is outside the scope of a preview, and this thunderbolt explanation isn't useful) Psyshock breaks through Grass-types and special walls like Snorlax and the Grass-types of the tier. Alolan Raichu naturally forces a lot of switches and Volt Switch allows it to abuse switch-ins exploits forced switches to checks (don't use abuse) like Snorlax by pivoting into something like a Passimian. Both Surf and Grass Knot are used to break the beat Ground-types of the tier. However, Surf is preferred, as it allows Alolan Raichu to break hit Steelix while still breaking along with every other Ground-type except Gastrodon. Grass Knot is primarily used to hit Gastrodon, (comma) which is who's otherwise able to tank any other incoming attack. Life Orb boosts Alolan Raichu's power while still allowing to switch up Moves.

Passimian is a notable teammate for Alolan Raichu, as together they create a powerful VoltTurn core that beats each other's checks and counters. Slow wallbreakers like Bewear, Escavalier, and Drampa, (comma) appreciates Alolan Raichu giving them safe switch-ins switches with Volt Switch. Indeedee makes an excellent partner, as Psychic Terrian boosts Alolan Raichu's Psychic Moves Psyshock and protects it from priority like Toxicroak's Sucker Punch. They also help each other to weaken Steel- and Dark-types who otherwise that stop them from spamming their powerful Psychic-type STAB moves. Hazards are a thorn in Raichu's side, as it limits Entry hazards limit the amount of time Alolan Raichu can freely pivot around. Therefore, (comma) Defoggers like Charizard, (comma) and Silvally formes, (comma) and spinners like Coalossal and Dhelmise, (comma) make for great teammates. For defensive synergy, Pokémon that can switch into incoming Ground-type attacks are excellent, as Alolan Raichu can't OHKO most of the tier's Ground-types and therefore it's forced out. Virizion and Vileplume are great choices for Ground switch-ins to Ground-types. Dark resists are also necessary, as Silvally-Dark, Scrafty, and Malamar can take advantage of Alolan Raichu. Fighting-types like the aforementioned Passimian and Fairy-types like Silvally-Fairy are able to handle incoming Dark-types attacks thrown against Alolan Raichu.

Nasty Plot pushes Alolan Raichu's wallbreaking prowess even further during forced switches. Alolan Raichu's frailty can make it difficult to set up but it can create ample opportunities by forcing switches. Earlier in the game, you should use Alolan Raichu to soften up its checks so later when you click Nasty Plot they should be in the range of your +2 attacks. After a Nasty Plot boost, Alolan Raichu plows through RU's Dark-types with Thunderbolt; it 2HKOes Specially defensive Scrafty and Malamar, and OHKOes Silvally-Dark and Sableye after Stealth Rock. +2 Psyshock 2HKOes any variant of Snorlax after Stealth Rock. No Ground-type stands a chance against the might of a boosted Grass Knot/Surf, or Surf, though the former is necessary for OHKOing Gastrodon and the latter for Steelix. even fully special defensive Gastrodon falls to a +2 Grass Knot despite being only 60 Base Power. Specially defensive Steelix is able to tank a 2+ Grass Knot but falls flat against Surf. Life Orb is used to ensure OHKOes and 2HKOes after a boost like the 2HKO with Thunderbolt against Scrafty or the OHKO against Gastrodon with Grass Knot.

Indeedee's Psychic Terrain makes Alolan Raichu even stronger and immune to priority. into an absolute nuke after set up, as even the mighty Snorlax falls to Psyshock after chip damage. Another benefit with Psychic Terrain is that it makes it a lot harder to revenge kill Raichu, as priority Moves are blocked. Nasty Plot Alolan Raichu also helps out Choice Scarf Indeedee to clean up late-game by breaking the beating Steel- and Dark-types like Silvally-Steel and Scrafty. Salazzle handles Ferroseed and enjoys Alolan Raichu's capability ability to break Snorlax, Rhydon, Coalossal, and Gastrodon and in return, Salazzle can break Ferroseed. Vanilluxe is not only another Pokémon who that appreciates Alolan Raichu breaking beating Snorlax, (comma) but also enjoys it breaking Steel-types like Silvally-Steel and Escavalier, and Fire-types like Coalossal. It pairs especially well with Surf Raichu, as Vanilluxe is able to it preys on Gastrodon with Freeze-Dry. Pivots allow Alolan Raichu to be safely brought out, (comma) ideally and hopefully, it's against setup bait. Passimian, Silvally formes, and Rillaboom are great pivots. Passimian and Rillabom, (comma) in particular, (comma) can lure in Vileplume who Alolan Raichu can get a free set-up turn against by forcing it out.
