Phase Progression
Eternatus (★) x1
Eternatus-Eternamax (★) x1
The Darkest Day, as told through legends, was a doomsday that saw the old Kingdoms to their end. Just as the destruction reached its apex, the disaster was driven away by unknown Heroes, allowing Galar to rebuild.
Now, this doom has returned to Galar once more, The beast at the center of it looms, and though the heroes of old have awakened anew, the passage of time is on Ruin's side. You must aid these Heroes in their time of darkest need, and withstand the terror of the enigma within, if dawn is ever to again break upon the land of Galar!
As the battle starts,
The Crowned Sword and
The Crowned Shield are nearly on the verge of defeat. They each have only 20 HP and 18 Energy remaining; and they are Fatigued.

The Crowned Sword and the Crowned Shield are Guests on the player's team for the duration of the Raid. They start on the Bench, and do not cost Technique Control to send out. (Informally, they're already "paid for".)
When any
Zacian forme or
Zamazenta forme faints: The player loses the battle.

Boss Immunities
A special condition may Bosses always have, with the following effects:
Stage Limit
Behavior Modifier List
Actions used by Raid Opponents may have Raid-Action Modifiers. These modifiers add more effect text to the specific action they modify, after that action's own text.
Vocation List
Protectors are targeted with more attacks than any other role.
Supporters get more substitutions, to respond to the enemy's actions and support their allies.
Aggressors deal greatly increased damage. The other roles typically work to protect them.
Boss Immunities
A special condition may Bosses always have, with the following effects:
The Pokemon is considered to be a Boss opponent, and is immune to certain disruptions. The subject is unaffected by Sleep, Encore, Flinching, Taunt, and Torment. Fainting can't be inflicted on the subject by the effects of Pokemon. Paralysis on the subject has at most zero Strain. The subject's actions cost nothing and cannot miss. If an action would refer to the subject's current or maximum HP, and that value is more than 120; instead, that action refers to the number 120. |
Stage Limit
The maximum stat stages of raiders, and the minimum stat stages of Bosses, are all halved.
Stage changes on Raid opponents, that would last an amount of turns, instead last that many steps.
Behavior Modifier List
Actions used by Raid Opponents may have Raid-Action Modifiers. These modifiers add more effect text to the specific action they modify, after that action's own text.

Vocation List

Vocation | Effects |
---|---|
![]() | (This is a starter Vocation available to all players.) Allies take two (2) less damage from hits. |
![]() | After the referee places indicators: The most expensive indicator (ref's choice if tied), from among those placed indicators, is moved on the user, if possible. |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Raise that ally's Defense and Special Defense stages by one (1) each, for their next three (3) turns. |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Restore that ally's most recently-consumed item. |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Grant that ally a unique condition until the end of the round, with the following effects: ● Stack Limit: Infinite. ● Damage dealt to the subject by Boss hits is reduced by 30% (x0.7). |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Raise that ally's Attack and Special Attack stages by one (1) each, for their next two (2) turns. |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Transfer the user's Decoy with the most remaining HP (randomly, if tied) to that ally. When an opponent attacks an ally: Give that attack a Power Penalty, equal to the number of Hazards created by the user on the attacker's field plus the number of Field Conditions created by the user on the user's field, to a maximum of four (4). |
![]() | When an ally is hit by a Raid Pokemon: Discard the oldest Major Condition from that ally, and heal that ally's HP by seven (7). |

Vocation | Effects |
---|---|
![]() | (This is a starter Vocation available to all players.) Protectors and Aggressors have an additional Substitution. |
![]() | Weather or Terrain created by the user has no Duration. (It lasts until it is discarded.) This Vocation also has the effect text of each Weather in play that was created by the holder. |
![]() | When the user swaps roles with the Protector: Raise the user's Defense and Special Defense stages by one (1) each for their next three (3) turns. When the user swaps roles with the Aggressor: Raise the user's Attack and Special Attack stages by one (1) each for their next three (3) turns. |
![]() | Protectors have Recovery Aid 6. Aggressors can't have Major Conditions inflicted on them while they have a Major Condition. |
![]() | When an effect of the user lowers another Pokemon's stat stage: Raise the user's same stat stage by the same amount, for the user's next three (3) turns. |
![]() | During the Switching Phase, instead of a Role Swap, the user's trainer may declare a move the user originally knows. Note that move on this Vocation. Allies in play know each move noted on this Vocation. |
![]() | At the end of each round: Restore each Berry that was consumed by Raiders in the previous round. (This adds a one-round delay to the Restore.) |
![]() | The backpack size of the user's trainer is increased by two (2). During the Switching Phase, instead of a Role Swap, the user's trainer may equip an item from their backpack to a Raider that can legally hold that item. |

Vocation | Effects |
---|---|
![]() | (This is a starter Vocation available to all players.) When the user attacks: Grant that attack a Power Bonus of two (2). |
![]() | When the user executes an attack: Note that attack on this vocation. The user knows the noted attacks as borrowed moves. When the user attacks with a move they do not originally know: Grant that attack a Power Bonus of three (3). |
![]() | When the user attacks: Grant that attack a Power Bonus of four (4), as long as all of the following are true:

![]() | When the user attacks with a standard move: Un-note any attacks noted on this Vocation, then note that attack. Standard moves known by the user, that are originally non-attacks that target Any One Target, have the BAP, Category, Type, and restriction text of the noted attack, and they cost the greater of their own Energy cost and the noted attack's Energy Cost. (This causes them to be attacks.) |
