Rain Dance, battle for manaphy! [OU RMT]

Hi all! I've made this team with the manaphy come back to OU. It's my first rain dance team, so I think I need many tips to use it efficacely. I can't use this team on ladder where Manaphy's banned, I use this team with 'custom rules', when I challenge people.

Crobat (M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Rain Dance
- Taunt
- U-turn
- Hypnosis

Crobat assure me to access to Rain Dance with his great speed. I use rain dance in the first turn, and U-turn if I'm not dead. Taunt to counter stealth rock lead (like azelf, gliscor) and Hypnosis cans help me versus a difficult lead to fight, like Dragonite, or Aerodactyl (who habitually makes Stealth rock on the first turn, and not rock slide/stone edge). Evs maximise speed and HP.

Kingdra (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk/16 Spd/240 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Waterfall
- Hydro Pump
- Draco Meteor
- Rain Dance

This Kingdra is a beast in early game. I habitually uses it after my Rain Dance's crobat. It is a terror in the rain, with powerful mixed attacking stats and bulky defenses making it a very tough adversary. Repartition is here for the traditionnal mixed Kingdra, Hydropump to hurt more than surf, draco meteor over ice beam because it's powerful and STAB attack, rain dance is here to add an other rain dance user, and begin combos.

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 80 HP/176 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Tail Glow
- Rest
- Surf
- Grass Knot

The STAR of the team! With his capacity, my opponent can't change my statut when it rains. I make Tail Glow one time, + rest who give me 100% of my healt and restrict the sleep statut. Surf for stab attack who OHKO few pokemons, especially after Tail Glow. I hesitate between Grass knot and Ice beam, grass knot to counter Empoleon~Swampert, or Ice beam to counter Dragon type, but my overall team can already counter them. It cans beat Blissey classic set after 3 Tail Glow if it doesn't have calm mind.

- Ice beam

This set is defensive, It stalls well. The aim is toxic the opponent, hit him with surf/ice beam (Ice beam over grass knot to counter Latias), and rest with the statut heal when I'm in low HP. Simply and efficace.

Kabutops (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/224 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet

Kabutops is one of the best water typed physical attackers, and with his capacity he's really difficult to counter under the rain. Sword dance give me a free OHKO versus skarmory with waterfall. It is also excellent for boosting Kabutops's final: Aqua jet. Aquajet is here over brick break or super power to be sure to be always faster than my opponent. This repartition allows me to hit fast and strong.

Scizor (M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Technician
EVs: 200 HP/56 Atk/252 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rain Dance
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost

Naaaah, It's Scizor! It's typicallly the opponent's reaction when he saw it. Scizor makes a fine Rain dance user, who divise the fire attack and give me more defense. I usually make Rain dance and U-turn, or roost if I take too many damages on a switch. Bullet punch is here to the classic stab priority attack, but maybe I'll change it for Superpower, because I've a weakness versus Empoleon.

Ludicolo (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 60 HP/196 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Surf
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance

What's a rain dance team without our classic mexican? After blissey is killed by my Kingdra/Manaphy/Kabutops, the sombrero sweeps very well. Water/Grass is a good defensive typing, with each type canceling out the other's major weaknesses. With a high base 100 Special Defense, Ludicolo is deceptively bulky and makes a good user of Rain Dance, it's the main raison why I put it. Energy ball over grass knot because I've already an other grass knot user (manaphy), and energy ball give me the win versus Vaporeon.


Possibility change:

- Crobat for a Jirachi lead, SR+RD+Thunder who give me an other alternative versus Empoleon.
- Manaphy for a stall set (toxic), for the offensive set I hesitate between grass knot and ice beam.
- Scizor bullet punch, maybe I'll change it for superpower, because my rain dance team is already fast, and I've other priority move (aquajet)
- Ludicolo LO for leechseeder set, who's a plain to beat under the rain.

Alright, first off this is a pretty solid team, but i think you SHOULD change bullet punch to superpower on scizor, it can take out empoleon and also blissey, which seems like a problem for you. Now i reccomend you do switch manaphy to the stall version, ive been using that on my CAP rain team and it works WONDERS. now for crobat, i like the idea of crobat lead, but i stongly reccomend you use electrode instead, it has the option to explode and it can use thunder. Also i found that on my rain team, lucario can do alot for the team, i used that with the common swords dance set and it took out alot of stuff my team couldn't take out, and also gives the much needed offensive support.

Im sorry, but I highlighted the above because one should never take away bullet punch from a Scizor because it gets STAB and gets a 50% boost from its ability Technician, making it a 90 power attack. Scizors usually depend on it. Thats all. =]

-Rest

-Surf
-Ice beam

Ice beam over grassknot to counter latias, I don't need grass knot now because I can beat vaporeon with toxic.

Rest the empoleon weakness, it's difficult to remove bullet punch from Scizor, but I'll try to switch Crobat for Electrode, if I don't explode I can always use Thunder on Empoleon. ^^
