Gen 7 Rain Day

.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 32 Def / 230 SpD
Bold Nature
- Defog
- U-turn
- Scald
- Roost

Basic setter for rain teams, most of the time I just use this as my rain setter. Since it has some attack move, it can hold up kind of well against an opponent, And roost for regaining health.

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Superpower
- Ice Punch

I used to use kabutops, but then swapped out for azumarill, because I wanted something other than the basic pokes. Azumarill can handlle pretty well with the Superpower and Ice punch

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball

I use manaphy because it's kinda broken and it's just super-bulky and It wrecks almost everything after tail-glow.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
- Leech Seed
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Power Whip

Ferrothorn has a really good typing , which gives it fewer weaknesses than other pokes and its major weakness makes it nearly ignorable with rain as the weather, so its the best defensive poke I have in this team

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Superpower
- Knock Off
- U-turn

I use T as the main pivot in my team besides Pelipper since it has regenerator and u-turn, the given EV spread allows it to do a decent amount of damage while remaining fairly bulky, , With the HA, it can regen up to 33%, which could be abused, T also has an incredibly high-Speed stat of 121. Most of the time I kinda use this as the main attacker, just under swampert.

Swampert-Mega @ Swampertite
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Rain Dance

Mega Swampert in this set is the primary sweeper, Waterfall when placed in the rain does a ton of damage with the given EV spread, Earthquake is used to touch most of the other pokemon that Waterfall can't, Ice Punch is to hit pesky dragon or grass types, the latter which swampert is more susceptible to, and Power-Up Punch is an easy way to increase Swamperts damage output when a pokemon is already at a low enough health.

.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

This is one of the first few teams i built during Gen 7. This is the second time im posting here , so please let me know if i did something wrong

Here's my suggestions for the team

First, :Greninja-Ash: over :Azumarill:. Really, in rain, ash Greninja is a terror. Even bulky resists would not want to stomach a rain boosted specs hydro miss. Oops, I meant hydro pump. It's priority is also far stronger than Azumarill's and isn't that defenseless against its checks and counters. With spikes, it forces a defog or the mentioned checks and counters can no longer switch in safely. It can also run ice beam to nail Tangrowth, Tapu Bulu and Amoonguss, meaning only Tapu Fini is the only one that can reliably counter it, but not over the course of a prolonged battle

Second, use focus blast over superpower on :Tornadus-Therian:. FIghting Tyranitar isn't exactly something you wanna do anyway and superpower is just gonna tickle especially with a timid nature

Third, use :Thundurus-Therian: over :Manaphy:. It helps a lot with the electric weakness and even though your vulnerable to rock types, you have Swampert and Ferrothorn to deal with it so it should be manageable. Use a fight z crystal set with nasty plot so you don't get stuffed by Chansey

Fourth, use spikes on :Ferrothorn:. This would open up a slot on my suggested Greninja and would make it even more annoying to deal with

Fifth, go with a physically defensive Pelipper. Since Ferrothorn is specially defensive, you would want some sort insurance against physical attackers even if it isn't guaranteed

Lastly, why rain dance on Swampert? It's a useless move when you have Pelipper. Replace it with stealth rock to open up a moveslot on Ferrothorn, and by extension, Greninja

Here is the sample paste. I'm not gonna fully say that I came up with this on my own as this was actually inspired by an earlier rain team rmt which I copied and adjusted to my own liking

For Swampert, you could run 4 attacks:

For example, Waterfaal, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Power Up Punch/Stone Edge

I'm not sure what tot add on 4th moveslot lol
