Introduction
I remember piloting a very braindead easy yet fun Hyper Offensive SV UU Rain Team back in 2023 made by user mayisthebestfr. then UU banned Pelipper, Iron Threads, and Amoongus Trio. So I switched to OU and started climbing with a similar team by Zora489 (Here) and then took a break from showdown for a while. Once I'm back tho, I really want to see how well this kind of team will fare in the National Dex meta, surprisingly it is still the braindead easy yet fun Hyper Offensive team I remember. Without further ado, Here's the team!Pokepaste: https://pokepast.es/b1dbb0f036c8a665

Introduction
Team Description
The Enablers/Supports
SiegeTank (Iron Treads) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Spinner
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
The suicide lead of the team, sets stealth rock and deal as much damage with Earthquake and Ice Spinner before going down while also keeping rocks off with Rapid Spin so that not only can your Pelipper check more threats comfortably, but your swift swimmers will also not be OHKO easily by priority. It also didn't need to be the Suicide Lead every single time, if you spot your opponent bring a Magic Bounce User, you can preserve Iron Treads to use as a 4th Sweeper and Electric Switch In in a pinch. As for Tera, You generally don't want to Tera Ghost Iron Treads to block Rapid Spin and save your Tera for Omastar, more on that later.
RAIN heedmycall (Pelipper) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- U-turn
- Scald
- Roost
- Hurricane
Nothing much to say here, This mon is your most valuable enabler/support that should be preserved to the last as it facilitates your entire strategy, more so if there are weather setters on the opposing team such as Torkoal, Charizard-Y, Tyranitar, Ninetails-Alola etc. Depending on the situation, Pelipper might be your lead of choice, however, it is not recommended to stay in and click U-turn, Scald or Hurricane to pivot or damage the opponent, if you don't fully know the moveset, as despite Pelipper's serviceable bulk, it can still be easily OHKO by a myriad of sudden Tera, Z-moves, Hidden-powers, Specs/Band etc. Pelipper's job in the early stages of the game generally should be to set rain and switch into Amoongus immediately so that your Swift swimmers can reap the maximum amount of rain turns, or U-turn if you are 100% sure that the opponent is not going to heavily damage Pelipper. Again, it might be tempting to Tera Pelipper to Ground to stop Volt Switch Spam, as the team lacks an Electric Immunity once Iron Treads is sacked, but Tera should still be saved for Omastar in most cases.
AmongUS (Amoonguss) @ Eject Button
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Foul Play
- Clear Smog / Sludge Bomb
Finally, we have Amoonguss to complete the Trio, the item Eject Button on Amoonguss will be the key item in starting the swift swim onslaught, Once Pelipper has set rain, Amoonguss will come in and take a hit, activate the eject button and bring in one of your powerful swift-swimmers, all while having the damage healed with regenerator. After exhausting the eject button, Amoonguss still serves as an excellent switch-in against would-be revenge killers like Ogerpon WellSpring and Choice-Scarf Urshifu for your swift swimmers. Spore and Clear Smog are excellent moves to temporarily neutralize a powerful threat that might sweep your team, Foul-Play is a nice move to punish physical setup sweepers thinking that Amoonguss is passive, and Giga Drain gives Amoonguss good matchup against bulky waters that walls your swiftswimmers. Sludge Bomb can be swapped with Clear Smog if you think Amoonguss is too passive for your taste, doing so gives Amoonguss a better matchup against Ogerpon Wellspring and Rillaboom.
The Swift Swimmers
MinMax Skew (Barraskewda) @ Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Flip Turn
- Aqua Jet
- Close Combat
If Bobby Finke is a Pokemon this would be him, Barraskewda is your team's Physical Wallbreaker and late-game cleaner, and can also act as a revenge killer in a pinch. Barraskewda's excellent natural attack and speed tier allows it to outspeed and KO even some offensive mons outside of rain. Liquidation should be your go-to move for Offensive Teams, while Flip Turn will be your go-to move for Balance and Stall Teams. Aqua Jet is useful to finish off the myriad of priority users that might KO Barraskewda first, such as a weakened Rillaboom and Raging Bolt. Close Combat is nice to have against Water Absorb SwitchIns looking to block your flip turns, such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Volcanion, and Quagsire, or Water-resist walls like Blissey, Raging Bolt, and Specially Defensive Alolamola.

Akula Sub (Basculegion-F) (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Swift Swim
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Flip Turn
- Ice Beam
- Surf
While Skewda dishes out powerful choice band and rain boosted physical moves, Basculegion-F will deal damage on the special side with powerful rain-boosted special moves enhanced further with Specs. As the special Wallbreaker of the team, Basculegion-F will normally come in to break down physical walls looking to shrug off Barraskewda's attacks after a flip turn. Thanks to its Ghost typing, Basculegion-F can also block Rapid Spin and gain STAB on Shadow Ball, which is crucial as many water resist in the game except for Blissey cannot resist both Specs boosted Shadowballs and Surfs. Ice Beam is nice for Dragons and Grass types, but Surf and Shadowball will be your main moves to click during rain. Should the need arise, Basculegion's Flip Turn can allow the team to maintain momentum and rack up more entry hazard damage.

HELIX (Omastar) @ White Herb
Ability: Swift Swim
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shell Smash
- Earth Power
- Surf
- Ice Beam
Finally, we have the star of the team. Omastar is the setup sweeper and acts as the team's main win condition, all thanks to Shell Smash, a bonker-boosting move that boosts both Attack and speed, allowing Omastar to continue outrun mons outside of rain. Surf is your mandatory STAB that destroys any defensive mon under rain, Ice Beam is coverage for Grass types and Dragon types attempting to resist your Water STAB outside rain. while Earth Power improves its matchup with Mega-Venusaur, Toxapex and Volcanion. Tera Grass is important for Omastar as it allows you to bait and shrug off dangerous priority attacks that your other swift swimmers are unable to handle such as Thunderclap from Raging Bolt, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Grassy Glide from Rillaboom. Allowing you to grab a Shell smash and attempt the sweep immediately. Omastar also has a very impressive 125 Defense, allowing him to survive most unboosted priority, making him very hard to revenge kill.
Threats:
Opposing Weather Setters ->

These mons disrupt your rain and removes the crucial damage and speedboost your swift swimmers so desperately needed, against these teams, you have to preserve your hazard and Pelipper as much as possible. If Pelipper dies and the opposing weather setters is alive, chances are winning are close to none. For Counterplays, Omastar can try to grab a shell smash and try to take something out as they try to switch in and reset the weather. Skewda can also try to spam Flip Turn for Pelipper to reset the weather, while Amoonguss and Iron Treads will be your main suicide fodder to stall sun turns.
Trick Room ->
Either you steamroll them or they steamroll you, the crucial part is having the right swift swimmer (usually barraskewda) using the extra rain turns (7 rain turns vs 5 turns of trick room) to KO their trick room setters before they can set trick room.
Water Suckers ->

Annoying Water Absorbers that stops your Flip Turn shenanigans, just the mere presence of them makes you think twice about clicking a water move as 2 of your swift swimmers are choice-locked. They will slow down your momentum immensely and will require to make some reads and predictions to get around. Among them Volcanion is the biggest threat as its bulky enough to live through 1 attack (close combat from skewda, shadow ball from Barraskewda) and OHKO most of the team with boosted steam eruption. Even Tera Grass Omastar can get OHKO if Volcanion is Specs. Your best bet is to check it with Iron Treads, but doing so hampers your lead game. Thankfully, Volcanion is a rare and underrated. Ogerpon Wellspring on the other hand will be very common and be the one you encounter most among these 3. Luckily, Omastar can come in and Tera Grass and and grab a Shell Smash against it, and hit back hard with Ice Beam and Earth Power, Amoonguss is also prime switch in against it and hitback with Clear Smog and Foul Play.
Anti-Swift Swim Agents ->

Threatening mons with very effective priority attacks that can check and KO most of our swift swimmers, Raging Bolt and Rillaboom in particular will be the most common threat you will encounter. Against them, Tera Grass Omastar will be your best choice in taking them on, as both Raging Bolt and Rillaboom struggle to damage Tera Grass Omastar with their priority and can be OHKO back with Ice Beam. However, the team will struggle a lot against Lokix, especially Choice Band Lokix which has First impression so strong that it revenge kills the entire team, and its nearly impossible to get any momentum going. Fortunately, Lokix usage is just as rare as Volcanion.
*How to Pilot?
(*Below is how I generally pilot the team to get results, but my style of play probably cost me more games then wins so take it with a grain of salt)
1) Lead Iron Treads and set rocks (if there's a Magic Bounce user, or web setter like Ribombee lead Pelipper instead, then find an opportunity for Iron Treads to come in later and rapid spin and set rocks.)
2) Iron Treads try to deal as much damage as possible, let it get KOd. ( if a Pokemon starts setting up in front of Iron Treads, switch to Pelipper or Amoonguss
3) Once Iron Treads falls, Lead Pelipper to Set Rain. If you expect Pelipper to suffer a strong attack, switch to Amoonguss. ( If Pelipper is facing something that won't heavily damage it like Gliscor and Toxapex, you may U-turn instead and switch to a swift swimmer.)
4) Amoonguss gets hit and activates eject button, switch to your swift swimmers, and start clicking attacks. (if the Opponent did not attack while Pelipper switch, Spore, Clear smog or Foul Play depending on the situation.)
5)Try not to hard switch too much, keep momentum by continuing the attack or switch with flip turn. As a hyper offense team its better to sack a swift swimmer for a more powerful swift swimmer (like Omastar) to take over and continue the pressure.
6)If rain ends, Sack pelipper or Amoonguss to ensure a clean switch in for your sweepers, 14 turns is more than enough to crack most offensive and balance teams. (Unless opponent has brought weather setters, then try to preserve pelipper longer, at least until they don't have their own weather setter.)

Closing
All in all, I think this team is really fun, Although the current NatDex meta is quite hostile against it, with so many priorities flying around. If you have some feedback or suggestions on this team, please let me know, I would appreciate it if I can receive some insights on how to push this team to the top.
