[Elite 4 John]

Hello my fellow Smogonites,I bring you a rain team I built about a week ago
Hope u guys like it.If you have any tips on how to make my team better.
So without further ado lets analyze the team.

Dem Hax (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 224 HP / 252 SAtk / 32 Spd
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Thunder
- Psychic

Jirachi has been one of my favorite pokemon and cuz its in one of my favorite pokemon movies.Now this guy is cute but cuteness its one thing and annoyance is another.I run the annoyin Sub+CM with 2 attacks.Thunder cuz I like 60% paralyzis and psychic.I run max sp atk modest 2 score a lot of KO'S and with hp and speed EV'S cuz i need 2 survive in the field.

Fear (Gyarados) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Waterfall
- Bounce

The pokemon that scared the crap out of a lot of people in season 1 of the pokemon anime.Gyarados is as BADASS in battle as is the way it looks.I run sub+DD and dual STAB in the forms of waterfall and bounce.If you lets dis guy set up youre gonna get swept for sure.And it gets +1 atk as soon as it tears something apart

Toady (Politoed) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Perish Song
- Scald

Politoed,the heart and soul of a rain team.Its runs trolltoed set with scald for burns and rain boost.Toxic to hinder the survival capabilities of walls and other sweepers.Protect 2 shield from attacks and 2 buy some time.And Perish Song 2 stop calm minder or any set up pokemon in its tracks

Spin Me!!!! (Forretress) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch

One of the main walls of the team.I run sp defensive cuz polioed is physical defensive.It has hazards like rocks and spikes.Rapid Spin 2 spin hazards and leech seed away.And Volt Switch 2 get out of sticky situations.The Evs are a little strange cuz normally u run max def on forre but i wanted sp defense ev's to take special hits a lot better

Thor (Thundurus-Therian) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Thunder
- Agility
- Focus Blast
- Grass Knot

Thundurus-T is a MONSTER in rain cuz of 100% stab Thunder.I run agility cuz i love the speed.Thunder 4 STAB and massive damage.Focus Blast 2 hit steel types and rock types.Grass knot 2 hit water typs like gastro any ground type 4 super-effective damage.And life orb 2 increase damage output even more.And Modest 2 get the sp atk up 420.Dats a lot of power 2 deal with

Dr Death (Gengar) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunder
- Focus Blast

Gengar is my final pke,but one of my favorites 4 dis team.Its a specs set.So somethin will die in One hit.Dual STAB in shadow ball and sludge bomb 4 massive damage.Thunder cuz i can abuse rain.And Focus Blast 2 prevent gettin walled by a heatran or a ferro.

So yeah dats the team i built.I posted a poll so what weather team would u like 2 see next.As always if u have any tips on how 2 improve my team just reply 2 dis threat.So hope u guys liked the team and feel free 2 give it a luvdisc.Catch u guys later Peace!!!!

Hello there! First of all, great team, and much Ludvisc. I really love the use of those precious moveslots, as you obviously put much effort into it. I especially love Gengar, as he's one of my favorite Pokemon ever.

I guess, since you seem to have a really nice team and I'm a noob, that I'll just nitpick a few things. Since you have Moxie on Gyarados, I would just change the nature to Jolly, just to get past a few threats at +1. I would say consider changing Psychic to Flash Cannon to get past T-Tar better, but you have Focus Blast, Grass Knot, and Gyarados to do that, not to mention even without defensive EVs or nature, Forettress pretty much walls him.

I guess that the most important thing that I would say is consider using a Hidden Power over Sludge Bomb on Gengar. I would suggest Hidden Power Ice since you lack an Ice Type move elsewhere, and you get pseudo BoltBeam coverage.
