Ever since The Drizzle+SS ban, Many Rain users have either given up on rain, or have just "Used the genies" AND FAILED EPICLY.

bronzong.png

Bronzong-Levitate
Sassy-Leftovers
252 HP, 84 ATK, 80 DEF, 92 SP.D
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
-HP Ice
-Earthquake
Hohohohohh... As much as I love Forry, The people in the comments have a point. Bronzong is a total boss. It sets up SR with ease, And With Essentially no weakness (In rain), This is a very valuble asset to my team. Gyro Ball for some powerful STAB, and to kill TTar and other rocks, HP Ice to kill those damn Gliscors, as well as any dragons this will invariably switch into, and EQ for coverage as well a nice little Excadrill Counter.
Politoed.jpg

Politoed-Drizzle (BATTLETOAD)
Calm-Leftovers
252 HP, 252 SP.D, 4 DEF
-Scald
-Protect
-Encore
-Toxic
An extremely obvious set, straight outta Compton, erm, Smogon. that couples pretty well with forry. It can burn things with scald, making it "Resistant" to physical attacks. It can also spread toxic if nessisary (Preferred over burn in some cases).
Accelgor.jpg

Accelgor-Hydration(A**HOLEGOR)
Timid-Focus Sash
4 HP, 252 SP.A, 252 SPEED
-Bug Buzz
-Toxic
-HP Water
-Rest
This Thing is pure Fucking Evil. Whoever thought this poke up is a sick, twisted, demented Son of a Bitch. With an insane 145 base Speed, and Solid 100 base Special Attack, it can Sweep pretty well. Bug Buzz for STAB, Toxic to poison Stuffs, HP Water to take advantage of rain, and have a bit of coverage. BUT THATS NOT THE MAIN SELLING POINT. HYDRAREST IS. It's fast enough to be a virtually flawless Hydrarest user, being able to quickly remove all status/Damage, with a sash to keep it alive, making the enemy continuously take damage from Toxic/Burn, or switch around, taking Entry hazard damage and making them even weaker.
642Thundurus_Dream.png

Thundurus-Prankster(SHAZAM!)
Timid-Life Orb
4 HP, 252 SP.A, 252 SPEED
-Thunder
-Substitute
-Nasty Plot
-HP Ice
A Pretty obvious Nasty Plot sweeper Thundurus. Thunder for a powerful STAB with perfect accuracy in Rain. HP Ice to have "BoltBeam" Coverage.
Priority Substitutes are always useful, and can take advantage of forced switches. This is a known, powerful sweeper, and while easily countered, it can dent teams.(Considering replacing with ScarfTom-W)

640Virizion_Dream.png

Virizion-Justified
Jolly-Life Orb
4 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPEED
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Leaf Blade
A standard swords dance sweeper virizion, This can Counter Sandstorm to a certain extent, and after only one Swords Dance, It seriously kicks ass, with decent enough bulk to survive a few hits and troll a ton. It has only 2 real weaknesses in rain, Flying(Duhh) and Ice, which most of my team resists. Close Combat for STAB and to smack those enemy Rocks, Ices, and Steels. Leaf Blade for STAB and to hit waters that troll in rain (and to counter mirror matches), and Stone Edge for coverage/ Fire counter.
Lapras.jpg

Lapras-Hydration(LAPRAWRS)
Sassy-Leftovers
252 HP, 56 SP.A, 200 SP.DEF
-Curse
-Waterfall
-Thunder
-Rest
My Mixed wall, it Hydrastalls very well, It can use Curse to increase it's defense considerably, and be a Psuedo Mixed Sweeper after a few Curse Boosts. It can Thunder (With perfectish accuracy in rain), With Waterfall for STAB and some coverage against those Damn Grounds
(POSSIBLY REPLACING WITH CROCUNE.)

NOTE:THIS TEAM IS HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL AND DEFINETELY NEEDS CRITISISM. TROLL AWAY!!!

Hey there,

This team is very weak to the most generic sand team. Excadrill will 2HKO everything on this team, even without boosts. If it gets a Swords Dance, it'll instantly sweep through your team. Considering it is a top 10 pokémon, and that Tyranitar is #2, you'll have a hard time winning in this metagame. Ludicolo can't take it at all, as it is OHKOed by +2 Balloon Adamant versions, even without Stealth Rock. If you'd want a physical wall capable of beating Excadrill without a lot of efforts, maybe you should use Gliscor? It would really help you against Sand teams and hey, Excadrill can only dream of beating it.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
Impish
EVs : 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
-Swords Dance
-Taunt

Make Decently good point, You do. I hate Gliscor but... Ugh. I'll put it in I guess... But for what??? Ludicolo???

If you don't like Gliscor, you could use Bronzong to counter sand. He can also take strong hits from dragons and his fire weakness won't be as bad in the rain.

move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Gyro Ball
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Earthquake
item: Leftovers
ability: Levitate

This team looks so fun to play.

...with

As mentioned, you need a genuine Excadrill counter. Zong, Sp. Defensive Counter Skarmory, and Virizion are fine answers if you don't like Scor.

On Thundurus, replace Life Orb with Lefties and maybe Sub with Thunder Wave. I know it's a Toxic Stall team, but still, Thundurus is a sweeper and a utility counter.

Also, what do you do against Steel types? Ferrothorn looks like it could come in and eat most of your team. I'd suggest something like Toxicroak, which can still Substall with the Rain, over something, as most Ferrothorn users wouldn't be smart to stay in as you keep on Subbing and Swords Dancing.

Maybe Bronzong over Forry??? I rilly don't need the Spikes... And maybe Replacing Ludicolo with Latias??? He works great on my sandstall.
Thanks for the help guys.

If you do hate Gliscor, maybe Tangrowth would be a fine replacement for Ludicolo? It can beat it easily with Earthquake and is able to destroy some dragons. Be warned though, as it is 2HKOed by +2 Adamant X-Scissor, so you'll probably have to sack something like Forretress to pop its balloon. Tangrowth is also able to beat those pesky Dragon types who think they can set-up on you. Here's the set :

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Relaxed
Regenerator
EVs : 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
-Leech Seed / Sleep Powder
-Giga Drain
-Earthquake
-Hidden Power Ice

Sleep Powder is a fine choice on Tangrowth too, as it allows you to sleep something cool like Mixed Tyranitar or Balloon Heatran. Leech Seed gives it bigger recovery though.

GUYS, I'M PUTTING BRONZONG OVER FORRY, AND VIRIZION OVER LUDICOLO
(Tangrowth is nice and all, but Ima stick to those edits for now.)

From what I've seen, even with a Life Orb, Virizion just fails to hit hard enough on much stuff with it's meh 90 base attack stat and the fact that you normally have to run Jolly, so Lefties provides extra stability for that purpose. Idk, that's just from my experience though.

Hmm... Well I'll try both.
