Rain Team - My first RU team

Okay so. Rain teams are cool.
Parasect doesn't fit on this team. Sure it has dry skin for nice healing but it shouldn't be used without Rain Dance. (not that it can go offensive). My suggestion is switching it to Ludicolo, either defensive or offensive. You should try out both and check which one you like the most.
This set can be really annoying for the opposing team to face, with Rain Dance essentially giving 62,5% of it's health back should it survive all those turns (which it will). Top it off with Leech Seed and Substitute and he can really stall out games on his own. You should use this set early-game to weaken the opposing team and open a sweep.
On the other hand, this set is more offensive. A lot more. It serves as a nice late-game cleaner after others have weakened the team. Set up Rain Dance and you're good to go.
Jolly lets you outspeed Scarf Delphox and Barbaracle after he Smashed, while MOdest gives you more power.
And the there's Magneton. You mention it as being mediocre, and while magneton is by no means bad, this set is and it's generally outclassed as a weather setter. Rotom-C is a good option (I used it last gen) with access to Thunder, Volt Switch and Rain Dance, as well as sporting a nice Grass resisrance, something a lot of rain teams struggle with.
This set functions as a nice pivot that can set your weather as well. Rain Dance because obvious, Thunder for abuse, Volt Switch for gaining momentum and pivoting and that stuff, and Leaf Storm if you really need something like Rhyperior dead.
