Raising the Standard

My Team. It's doing alright, but things are still changing depending on what's needed. Let's get straight to business so you can see it and tell me what can be improved.

Klefki @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 172 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd / 60 SDef
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Spikes
- Substitute
- Thunder Wave

This little keychain has started me off well in some many battles, it is my favourite lead. A standard EV spread, giving bulk however still able to hit hard with Foul Play, combined with priority Thunder Wave and Spikes to cripple any opponent. This Pokemon can easily survive several hits that aren't super effective, of which there is only Fire and Ground, especially with leftovers.

Azumarill @ Splash Plate
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Aqua Tail
- Superpower
- Play Rough

Giving this Pokemon a Fairy typing was a game changer. It used to support any ground or fire types that switch into Klefki, and with huge power it does this well. Aqua Jet has priority, while Aqua Tail can hit a Pokemon harder (which may have been hit by Thunder Wave, as well as a splash plate for added bonus), it can also be kept around to deal with any dragons, with Play Rough. Its EV spread give its bulk, while still hitting hard, especially with Huge Power (what an ability!) this all out attacker can cripple a team.

Aegislash @ Lum Berry
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Sword
- Swords Dance
- King's Shield
- Shadow Sneak

Speaking of Pokemon who have become overpowered this gen... Aegislash is a god, with a standard set to operate with. Shadow Sneak for priority, Sacred Sword for coverage, Swords Dance anytime an opponent can immediately get rid of him and finally King's Shield to complete that unbelievable IV total. I gave it a Lum berry incase an opponent tries to cripple mid sweep, it can also help when setting up a Swords Dance.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock

Mamoswine is big, and with this EV spread he can hit hard as well. Ice shard agains give useful priority, while Icile crash gives a bit more power, as well as, Earthquake for again nice STAB coverage (boosted by life orb). Im unsure about stealth rock usefulness, and wonder if another move should be used, but besides from that, this is a standard set.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Flamethrower
- Rock Slide

I chose this dragon over other dragon because of its ability. It has a standard dragon set, and choice scarf means it can easily pick off a weaker foe and get its ability up and running. I use this Pokemon as a late game killer (once I know the fairies are gone), picking off many already damaged Pokemon with its STAB dragon attacks. Last two moves are for coverage purposes, and with an EV spread to support its speed and attack, this Pokemon can very easily come in and finish off a team in a flash.

Talonflame @ Focus Sash
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Tailwind

Ahhhh Talonflame, another 6th gen masterpiece. This Pokemon looks cool, and deals damage hard. Another awesome ability, priority Brave Bird (omg) with Flare Blitz, for STAB, while U-turn is there for momentum building on a switch in. I have Tailwind in there mainly as a move filler, however it has proved useful to pass off to another Pokemon with this gift (usually with a prediction of a set up). This Pokemon brings a useful fire typing to this team.

So that basically it. Please give back some feedback if you can see some issues with the Pokemon or if I should just switch them out all together with another. thnx.

Great looking team! One I certainly wouldn't want to be put up against! However there are a few things I would change to help you out:

Klefki does not need any investment in speed, prankster allows 3 of its 4 moves (in your set) to have priority, and since you shouldn't really leave Klefki in on ground types, pretty much everything you face can be paralyzed allowing Klefki to outspeed them with Foul Play. Speed EVs are a waste of EVs that would be better off invested in defences! Try this instead: EVs: 196 Def / 252 HP / 60 SDef.

This is a personal preference, try Icicle Spear > Icicle Crash on Mamoswine. I prefer this because you can break a lot of sashes, sturdy's and mainly for Dragonite who would usually take an Icicle Crash because of Multiscale!

One other thing: Try Choice Band or Leftovers on Talonflame. A Focus Sash is a complete waste when you have two STAB moves that break your own Sash, and you aren't carrying roost!

Hope i could help!

Adding to what Orphic said, run Adamant Smogonbird, Jolly is a waste of power on something so frail. Choice Band is definitely better. I feel like Klefki is a waste here, and could be replaced with a win condition, or just make Azumarill Belly Drum. Mamoswine can use Crash / EQ / Rocks / Shard without needing Icicle Soear. If you replace Klefki with a SR user, change SR to Spear, though. Salamence in itself is outclassed, don't bother. This team is so physically based that you need to make Aegislash a mixed attacker. Shadow Ball with 252 Quiet does so much. Landorus-T? Enjoy taking that 60% :]
