Hello and welcome to my first RMT on Smogon! My name is Satoryu and i may be known as Hollow on a german forum, the BB, or from the german chatroom on PS. I made this team originally for the 6vs6 WiFi, but it's working for Showdown too. So, here it is:
Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 186 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
The team's Star. The plan with this is pretty simple: beat pokémon, that Zard X can't beat in a 1v1 (Slowbro, Hippowdon, Dragonite, Talonflame... [and Mega-Kanga in Wifi]) -> setup -> sweep. The set is obvious, imo: DD to set up, FB and DC as STABs and Roost for recovery. The reason I chose 186 HP is because I can outspeed Noivern at +1 and I still live CB Adamant Talonflames BB and Jolly Mega-Kangas FO and Suckerpunch with 72 Spd EVs.
Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Pain Split
The reason Gengar came in the team is that i wanted to counter Dragonite [Mega-Kanga] and other physical threats. The set should be pretty standard too, Sludge and Pain Split for recovery, Sub to make good use of Pain Split, scout and prevent burns in a stall battle. The split gives me bulk and speed, the 2 most important things. I also use this Gengar as pretty effective Spinblocker.
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker / Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
I wanted SR in my team and with a Zard, Rapid Spin or Defog are essential, so i chose Excadrill. This is a standard set too, Air Balloon against Ground-Types, Rapid Spin for removal, SR against Talonflame and for a OHKO on Greninja with Zards DC, EQ and IH as STAB.
Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Bug Buzz
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
I wanted Sticky Web for outspeeding things without a DD, and Galvantula was good for that job because it could kill Slowbro after SR-damage, thats also why I took Volt Switch, for switching this out when I got the Web out. EV-Split and Item are standard, same as Moveset. This is the Pokémon I'm thinking the most about changing, because I feel like I don't need Sticky Web, but at the same time I want it.
Crawdaunt @ Choice Band
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 192 HP / 252 Atk / 64 Spd

- Aqua Jet
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- X-Scissor
This thing is a THREAT! It survives CB Adamant Talonflames BB with a very high chance, and is able to kill it with Aqua Jet. Crawdaunt can also win a 1v1 against any Tyranitar (except CB Adamant, but I don't think this is played often x]) because it survives every attack and can one-hit with Crabhammer, and it even outspeeds 0 investment TTar and Aegi (with Sticky Web it goes even with max speed TTar and outspeeds max speed Aegi). The job of this Pokémon is to kill as many enemies.
Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
The classic Defiant-Thundurus, directly ripped off the Strategy Pokedex. Its job is to keep the Hazards up, and deal as much dmg to Defoggers. T-Bolt as STAB and to deal a ton of damage to Mandi and Skarm. Knock Off kills Latios and takes also a good amount from Latias. Superpower beats Mega-TTar, 2HKOs Blissey, kills Chansey after a Knock Off and deals not bad damage to Tran. The HP lets me hit Lando, Gliscor and Chomp, which could pretty much every other attack. I'm thinking about taking Grass Knot > Hippowdon, to OHKO it after SR damage. This is also the second Pokémon I'm thinking about throwing out of the team for a Scarfer, but I think Megazard X does a good job late game.

So, that's my team I'm using currently, I really like it, but I also think it's far from perfect. I'm around 1400 ELO right now on PS, and I think it can definitely go higher. So, that's it from my part, thank you for taking a look at the team and maybe rating it :]
