Welcome to Week 1 of the Random Battles Team Tour, where 8 teams will compete for the title of RBTT Champion as well as a custom avatar!

Tournament Rules
  • The tournament will consist of 8 teams battling it out in a Round Robin format over seven weeks; after that, the four best teams overall will move onto playoffs.
  • Each series will be played as a Best of 3. Challenge Cup 1v1 will be played as a best of 5.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokémon Showdown.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Replays of the matches must be posted to verify a win; if replays are not posted, the match doesn't count.
General Tournament Rules
  • Scheduling: Attempt to contact your opponent by posting on their smogon profile as soon as possible. It is strongly advised to schedule publicly there on Smogon so the host can make any necessary activity calls. If you cannot get in contact with your opponent, inform the host in this thread so we can make any necessary substitution. If you have made no visible contact, the host may substitute you out for another player.
  • Timer Clause and Disconnections: The timer is not required to be on during games; however, if the timer is on and a player runs out of time, their opponent wins the game via timeout. If a player disconnects and thus times out, this also counts as a loss for the player who disconnected.
  • Don't ghost.

YAHALLO and welcome to the FIRST EVER UNBIASED POWER RANKINGS OF RBTT. Note that this is done for entertainment purpose only and if u take it seriously thats on you. I also didnt rank my own team to be fully unbiased. :v

1) Team Xerneas

On top we have team Xerneas with manager pair of birthday boy Aeonic and Petros. It is clear to everyone that being admin has RNG manipulative capabilities and Aeonic seems no shame in using such power as Rach already won the first game of the week. Nevertheless, while they were celebrating his birthday they lost a game so it raises the question how Aeonic will be able to power abuse while every team celebrates his birthday on weekly basis.

2) Team Lugia

Hoopas go Hoop Hoop, Arcanines go Woof Woof, Xerneas goes Geomancy, Galarian Zapdos goes Chirp Chirp and I havent a single person say a damn thing about Lugias. They might be plotting to avenge someone's death, their quiet behaviour is quite alarming. While they are acting up silent and careless, they are probably practicing 15 hours a day. (These kind of people also does gym workout without earplugs n music.)

3) Team Marshadow

Team Marshadow appears as the most popular team amongst the spectators, as they are winning the room pool by a great margin. While Marshadows stockpile morale from the room's pool result and often express gratitude, other teams think the poll is the only thing Marshadows will be winning. Overall they do have a well balanced solid lineup so they might have a shot at playoffs.

4) Team Hoopa

Team Hoopa is in a bad shape this year, due to not having Nate playing. Despite their success last year with Nate as R1 meme pick, it is very questionable why Hoopas didnt get Nate as a R5 meme pick this year, it is almost like they are trying to throw intentionally. However their roster isnt half bad, so a middle spot for Hoopas is quite fitting.

5) Team Arcanine

The only non-legendary Pokemon of this draft finds itself a spot on the bottom half of this list, thanks to its species being "legendary" Pokemon. They would normally be ranked even lower but this is another team that will have admin interference and RNG manipulation thanks to The Immortal.

6) Team Galarian Zapdos

When compared with other legends such as Lugia (Lord of Oceans), Xerneas (Represents life), Yveltal (Represents death) etc, being represented by an ostrich must be quite demoralizing. On top of that having a lot of first timers in RBTT is probably another factor why this team is low ranked. It is questionable if forsh will be able to carry this team to the top.

7) Team Kyogre

Here on the bottom of this list we have Kyogres, who seems to aim to be successor of Raikous. We have seen that self destructive team structures never work well, and overall this team's stability is in question. This goes deeper as they drafted "Tactical Facepalm", which seems it will be the general course of action by spectators and team members on the following weeks.

8) Team Regirock

Despite not being in this iteration of RBTT, 6Roggenrolas manages to get last place again.

Boris nails it all the time. You instantly realize why he’s the best Gen 8 Randbats player on PS. His plays just give me chills everytime I watch. The Doubles player’s planning is also impeccable, making me wonder how the coach makes a call for his move. Xgang is by far the best without a doubt. Pirate Princess is also excellent in stall games, and I’ve been watching forsh since before he joined the team, and he has improved so much.

The Doubles player’s planning is also impeccable, making me wonder how the coach makes a call for his move. Xgang is by far the best without a doubt. Pirate Princess is also excellent in stall games, and I’ve been watching forsh since before he joined the team, and he has improved so much.

There's no way Delta will be defeated. He's by far the strongest dpp randbats player i've ever seen. He's never been defeated in 12 years of experience. And to top it all he's the sexiest man alive i ever seen. No way you'll beat him.
