Random Team

So I basically just started battling competitively like a week or 2 ago, and this is the 2nd team I made after the first one completely fell flat. It's decent, but I basically win with it a little over half the time, so I'm looking for ways to improve it even more. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Tentacruel@Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP, 120 Def, 136 Sp.Def
Nature: Calm
Surf
Sludge Bomb
Rapid Spin
Toxic Spikes

A tough, Toxic Spikes lead that has surf and sludge bomb for type coverage, and usually can get up at least one layer from toxic spikes, as even strong thunderbolts only do slightly over half damage w/ the evs. It is weak to physically based pokemon with earthquake, but other than that it's pretty solid. Additionally, it can rapid spin just to piss off other entry hazard leads, putting up toxic spikes while they lay down stealth rock, etc. and then rapid spinning it all away, plus it's tough enough to switch in and rapid spin stealth rock, which is helpful for the rest of my team. Rapid Spin also counters switch-ins to magic mirror espeon, which cannot even 2hko it with psychic.

Moltres@Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA, 252 Speed, 4 SpDef
Nature: Timid
Roar
Roost
Air Slash
Fire Blast

Moltres is an extremely powerful sweeper, especially with life orb, and fire blast can sometimes even OHKO pokemon neutral to it thanks to the boost. Air Slash provides flinch chance and good type coverage, while roost helps it survive all of the recoil it takes, along with stealth rock damage if my tentacruel is taken out. Roar allows it to phaze if a counter comes in and sets up (i.e. heatran), but a lot of times moltres's frailty lets it get OHKOed before getting the chance. Although it's a solid pokemon, I feel like it definitely has room for improvement.

Lanturn@Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpDef, 220 Def, 36 HP
Nature: Calm
Thunder Wave
Confuse Ray
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam

One of the biggest surprises of my set. Lanturn can switch in on any unboosted special attack with impunity and proceed to annoy the opponent to death with parafusion, then using the boltbeam combo to cover almost any threat it comes upon. It, like tentacruel, also has a major earthquake weakness, which is annoying against pokemon like garchomp who it could otherwise surprise with ice beam, but as a special wall it can completely throw off opponents who can't believe their attacks are doing so little damage. Could be tweaked a little, but it almost always can take down at least one pokemon by itself, if not 2.

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Crunch
Earthquake

As quick as ttar gets without choice scarf, Tyranitar can switch into psychic moves on tentacruel pretty easily and set up with dragon dance. Stone Edge and Crunch provide STAB, and Earthquake provides a ground attack for the many types weak to it. Tyranitar, too, though is also weak to earthquake, and it can be easily koed by a surprise fighting attack on a pokemon that one wouldn't expect to have one. If it gets time to set up even 1 dragon dance, however, it's almost unstoppable, particularly if it can get in multiple boosts. I'm open to suggestions on it, but I'm decently satisfied with it so far.

Genesect@Life Orb
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 SpA, 128 Def, 124 Speed
Nature: Modest
Bug Buzz
Metal Sound
Flash Cannon
Thunderbolt

An obscenely powerful special sweeper, genesect is especially deadly with an SpA download boost. Although steel attacks are frowned upon, flash cannon gives good neutral coverage while bug buzz and thunderbolt help that out even further. Offhand, the only pokemon that I can remember consistently resisting all 3 is excadrill. The EVs were meant to make genesect a little bulkier, but could definitely use some suggestions for tweaking cause I'm not really an expert on those things. Genesect is mostly vulnerable to something with hidden power fire or a surprise, unexpected fire punch, as it has no chance against any fire attacks. If switched in right, though, it can completely sweep teams at times, even with life orb recoil factoring in.

Sawsbuck@Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 Def, 132 SpDef, 124 HP
Nature: Impish
Aromatherapy
Horn Leech
Leech Seed
Substitute

A cleric and pseudo staller, sawsbuck is the ultimate switch in to grass types cause of its unique ability, and can often stall the opponent's ensuing switch-in out with an extremely annoying draining combination of leech seed and horn leech backed by substitute. Horn leech is unique as a rare physical draining attack, but sawsbuck can be countered by a lot of things. I like having it around for its ability and status-healing, but it has a bunch of weaknesses that need to be addressed

I don't know how to insert images or any of that stuff in here, so sorry if it looks boring. I appreciate any suggestions, though, and thanks again for the help!

I, personally, wouldn't use Metal Sound on Genesect. Or Flash Cannon for that matter.
I would suggest replacing Metal Sound with Flamethrower, therefore neutralizing your resistance to Excadrill, and if you want to replace Flash Cannon, I would recommend Ice Beam.
Good luck!

hmmmm....u should use a poke who would benefit much more from SR removal, such as Volcarona, rather than moltres. W/130 sp atk, 100 spe, and quiver dance, he`ll sweep, if not rape, many teams.

As for genesect, boltbeam +flamethrower give him flawless coverage. Plus STAB Bug Buzz is just icing on the cake. overall a grea poke.

with these two, your team should improve greatly.

@Impact: Those suggestions seem to work pretty well. Haven't come across any excadrill since the change, but it does provide better coverage with the same amount of offense when i get a download boost. As for using volcarona, it is also 4x weak to stealth rock, so if I changed out my moltres that would definitely NOT be what I swapped it for. They have relatively similar power, and moltres also gives me a flying type to use to switch into earthquake. I appreciate the ideas, but since it's also weak to sr and doesn't fly, volcarona isn't really good for my team imho, plus I already have a bug in genesect
