Randomly Assigned Team (for a tourney)

344.png
Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/144 Def/114 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
---

Utility Claydol. Good lead because it can SR as well as spin away other lead SR's. Earth Power and Psychic for STAB. Psychic over Shadow Ball due to Weavile having Night Slash

143.png
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 252 HP/64 Atk/128 Def/64 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Rest
- Return
- Curse
---

Quite self-explanatory. Fire Punch for Steels. Return for most everything else. The coverage isn't that great, so I may end up using like EQ over curse.

245.png
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Surf
- Rest
---

Very good Bulky water. Gets great sp def after a CM. Can absorb status. Hp electric for Gyarados and other Water types. No need for Ice Beam due to Weavile and Gastrodon.

461.png
Weavile (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/216 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash
- Swords Dance
---

Basically my Finisher and Physical Sweeper. SD to boost attack. Brick Break for type coverage. Ice Shard can hit anything with scarf that is close to dying and also kills Mence and other dragons after a SD. Night Slash for ghosts and Psychics and to get STAB.

244.png
Entei @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Will-o-wisp
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Calm Mind
---

Not a Bad CMer. Flamethrower for STAB. WoW to take out physical threats and minimize damage. HP Ground for things such as Heatran. Could use something like Stone Edge for coverage due to Entei's incredible base Attack.

423.png
Gastrodon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf
---

Basically a Recovering Swampert with lower stats. Recover instead of Rest. Switch out if I know a grass move is coming. Gets surf and EQ STAB. Ice beam for grass switches and Dragons. Im debating about using this set or a Curse set.

Note: These pokemon were randomly assigned to me and none of them may be changed to any other pokemon. Everything else can be changed.

Constructive Criticism Please

EDIT: Is there a way to use the Blue Gastrodon in shoddy. I like it more haha.

Weavile (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Night Slash
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
---
This is the anti-lead Weavile, it's main purpose is to counter the leads of today with Fake Out to remove their Sash and then OHKO it with a Super Effective hit. The leads you will need to watch out for are Infernape leads, Jirachi leads and Tyranitar leads. You lack the ability to OHKO Infernape, but if you put Arial Ace in somewhere instead of another move (not Fake Out) then you can OHKO him. Tyranitar is another problem since he removes your sash with Sand Stream, the best bet is to either deal as much damage as you can with Fake Out + Brick Break, or just switch. Ice Punch is just a general STAB move.

344.png
Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/144 Def/114 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Light Screen
- Stealth Rock
- Reflect
---

Ok, well Claydol is a strange pokemon. He is fairly bulky and has a very nice Electric Immunity. Instead of making him kind of useless with Rapid spin (nothing on your team minds SR that much) Can I put in Dual Screen? It will let Suicune set up easier along with Snorlax... I don't know much about Claydol but you might as well max his Defense... I don't know. Psychic is also not that great of an attacking type in the OU Metagame.

143.png
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
Careful nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Return
- Curse
---
Ok, well your EV Spread was crap and there is no reason to not use Thick Fat over Immunity especially since you have Rest to remove statuses. I agree with Earthquake over Fire Punch as it doesn't do that great of type coverage. At least with ReQuake the only thing you're not hitting is levitating Ghosts like Gengar.

245.png
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Ice Beam
- Rest
---

Very normal set, only problem is Dragons might give you an issue. For this I may suggest Ice Beam over Surf so you have SOME answer to the Dragons.

244.png
Entei @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower/Lava Plume
- Will-o-wisp/Substitute
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Calm Mind
---

I actually really like this set, quite a bit actually. Entei doesn't get the love he deserves. All the same I don't think Will-o-Wisp is going to do much good since (I'd assume) mostly bulky waters would switch into this guy. Gyarados and Salamence would HATE getting burned though so it's up to you. I listed a few choices up. 1) Lava Plume + Substitute this is a great set since Lava Plume gives a high chance of Burn and SUbstitute give you idea for scouting and possibly get a Calm Mind in. Other wise keep the set as is.

423.png
Gastrodon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stockpile
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf
---

Yeah, more love for Gastrodon, he has Sticky Hold fucking over trick takers and really is helpful with Recover. I may suggest Stockpile over Earthquake since you're only using Special attacks and Stockpile helps bolster his average defenses.
