i suggest that you never go with hi-jump kick. the accuracy and damage you can take its not worth it. brick break ftw.

thunderbolt over thunderpunch to take out skarm =]

In my opinion, Gengar is the #1 lead when it comes to 1 vs 1. Bronzong meh... its only a support and Ninjasks for baton pass, BUT there isn't a pokemon out of 6 where I couldn't get a kill using a Gengar. Gengar outspeeds like everyeverything that can damage it. If you ever come face to face with something that you can't kill just use Hypnosis and switch. If you ever run into an infernape, use hypnosis then shadow ball it. If you run into a jolteon who gives a ****, use hypnosis and slowly take it down. If you run into a garchamp use HP ICE and 1 hitko. This is why I LOVE GENGAR AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!!

#1 Moveset
W/ Nevermelt Ice .
HP ICE With Nevermelt Ice this thing is deadly. It OHKOS mostly ANYTHING weak to Ice.
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
Counter ( I have this baby just in case when I predict that a faster pokemon than Gengar will use a physical attack ) .

Thats just my suggestion using a gengar.

I noticed how you use Choice Specs, the advantage is that you can sweep only the lead however its gets annoying switching out and stuff just so you can re-use another move. Good trainers will see that you have a choice item and use pokemon like Shuckle , Blissey against you which can wear you down. Thats why I prefer the set above. Again, Hypnosis those that you can't kill, switch out and sweep those you can with that amazing speed and sp attack.

Gengar is so frail it would die to pretty much any physical attack aimed at it making counter pretty useless.

HP Ice Ko's anything weak to it anyway as most pokemon weak to it in OU are 4X weak to it.

Nevermelt ice a poor option on gar as is counter (unless you use sash)

the gengar i use is:
Gengar@ focus sash
Nature-Hasty
-HP Ice
-Counter
-Destiny Bond
-Thunderbolt/Energyball(for either gyrados or swampert leads)

This set is pretty self-explanitory. Counter a physical attack then Destiny bond for at least two KO's. If you are looking for one, visit my trade thread =]

I dunno...Gengar and Medicham are pretty weak defensively and Slowbro (without Calm Mind) doesn't have a shining Special Defense either. And all 3 are weak to Ghost. So you *might* have some slight problem with Scarf-Gengar. Your Umbreon is weak to Focus Blast and your Togekiss is weak to HP Ice and Thunderbolt and won't appreciate Hypnosis.

Also, your Umbreon will not appreciate being stuck as the last Pokemon, so I would use Toxic over Taunt (most people won't try to set-up while being badly poisoned). Then again, Heracross will like that, so you might want to train your prediction skills.

Overall, a well balanced team, although no Sandstorm, Hail or Stealth Rock resist will make the team cry against stall teams (with those defences, Medicham doesn't count as a resist to anything)

Nice info, I think I'll replace psychic with calm mind on Slowbro, and toxic over taunt on Umbreon

I'll also give more thought on replacing one of my pokemon with one who can resist stealth rock.

You should replace Umbreon with a something that can handle Heracross and friends, Gyarados if you have prediction, or Gliscor of you want the real stuff. Gliscor also has the ability to set up Stealth Rocks for you. Gyarados I said because you can try to team him up with Electivire and hopefully get a Motor Drive boost and sweep, but Gyarados isn't a safe counter to Heracross.

You can't seem to break the SkarmBlissCress combo, there isn't a good Physical attacker besides Medicham, who can be taken care of by Cresselia itself. I would not worry much about this, the main problem comes with Heracross sweeping this team. You can keep Slowbro if you wish, Calm Mind set is always alright.

I think I forgot something =\
